Absolutely the biggest regret taking my car here. Had baron bmw service not cleaned up the constant nightmare this place has created, I'm sure this review would've been much more unpleasant than it already is. Allstate is my insurance company of which I had to file the claim on my own policy for an uninsured driver. As if that wasn't bad enough, 2 months of 'working' on literally making it function worse than it went in as, after having it back for 8 months now... I'm still dealing with the extreme lack of common sense, integrity and ACCURACY of their work. They left my bmw for months in the rain when it was t-boned(and very obviously exposed interior could be seen from the outside of the car) that when I got it back, not only did it smell like a dirty foot, the headliner and carpet was so saturated which molded so bad.. it corroded the pedal position sensor to the extent that literally on my way home after FINALLY picking it up, it DIED on the on ramp to the highway. Of course after going and talking to them the next day, they don't know me other than being a female and assuming I'm an airhead and proceed to blame the alternator/battery which after I have been a mechanic and know when that's the case, i let them think I believe their load of crap they are trying to get out of being responsible for and let it go until my inspection results. Nearly $7000 of damage was necessary to replace due to the compromised integrity of the interior. New headliner. Carpet. Pedal position sensor(hilariously no battery or alternator was needed) which thankfully clay, the GM of baron, agreed to the bmw service center fix and replace these issues. If I had an enemy, I'd tell them to take their wrecked car to this place. I write this as I'm irritatingly setting my alarm to wake up early to get another loaner as my car is still having significant electrical issues, ironically ONLY on the side they 'touched'. I can't say the collision center fixed it... I wish I left it as it was when it was hit. It didn't die. My headlights worked, and my insurance company wouldn't have to do extra leg work for what they've found to be mislead or falsified 'line items'(parts they said that were replaced or needed to be replaced which did not. Like my two wheels that they replaced(they are the same ones that came with the car off the assembly line-however they charged my insurance for two new ones- yes the 'advisors' are commission based) amongst many other things. Daniel strain also promised to have this issue fixed in December and sincerely apologized while asking I take down my review. Which I was a fool and 1) believed he would make it right and 2) taking it down. He's impossible to get ahold of. When u can talk to him, be prepared to feel like you're more of an inconvenience than the person at the dmv will make u feel, and by far the most questionable ethics when it comes to his professionalism. If you like your car to run and be treated like trash... come here. They'll even make the inside smell like it for free too! $10,000 regret. read more

I NEVER leave reviews, but this place is beyond helpful. I want to start off by saying that the negative reviews here are from people who either have clunkers that already had problems completely unrelated to the claim they submitted or service provided here, as well as entitled customers who can't seem to understand that, unfortunately, there are other people who exist in this world and that said people might also need repairs. To be upset about a repair not being done due to other customers coming first in line is the epitome of entitlement. Oh yeah, you want them to call the rental place for you? Maybe they should take you to work and pick you up while they're at it, give me a break lmao. This place is always cooperative, never even showing the slightest attitude, although being a competent customer does help. Not only that, but the repair work they do is phenomenal to say the least, and I could go on about that. Let me start off by saying that this is my first ever review of a company. I felt obligated to share my experience and hopefully other people will take note. I took my car to Baron to get my bumper and fog light replaced, of note there was no structural damage and the parts were pre-ordered and had arrived before my car was dropped off. From day one this was the worst experience. There was zero communication from anyone throughout the process. I had to call multiple times for any status update. After my car had been there 3 days I called twice but I was given the run around. I finally drove by the shop and found my car in the same position I dropped it off in with no work done. I was then told that my bumper was "in line to go in the paint shop". This all was very frustrating. Why is it necessary for me to drop off my car and pay money for a rental car if no work is actually being done to my car? Could you not have communicated this and had me drop the car off at a later date? One week later I called once again to get a status update. The work had been done to my car but they were waiting to get the car detailed...two days later I called back and it still wasn't ready! They were still waiting to get it detailed. I was very frustrated as you can imagine and requested to speak to a manager. Manager Chris told me that there are 230 vehicles on the lot. After I voiced my frustration about paying for a rental car he said, "doesn't your insurance pay for that?" As a matter a fact they cover a small portion of that and, also, that is not any of your concern. Your concern should solely be fixing my car with quality, in a timely fashion and with clear communication. I would think twice before sending my car to Baron Collision Center. As for me, I will never send another vehicle to Baron and will gladly give my negative review to anyone who asks or is considering Baron. read more

I was recently rear-ended and needed both the front and back of my car repaired. State Farm guided me by selecting Baron Collision Center as my repair facility. I had never been there before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I showed up for my appointment a little bit late but everyone was flexible and courteous. I received a quote for the work and then they told me I could bring the car in the next day to drop it off. This was welcome because I still needed to arrange a rental car, which was right next door at Enterprise. They were extremely helpful with all my questions... and there were many. Dropping off the car the next day was quick and easy. The work on my car took about 3 weeks, as I had to get a lot of the front and back replaced. When I came to pick it up it was beautifully spotless (I had come in with bird poop all over it...) and even the interior was cleaned. I was so impressed. The actual repairs themselves looked great, and it has been driving nicely ever since. The staff was so kind and thoughtful. They didn't make me feel silly with all of my questions and they were happy to answer. They went the extra mile on everything. I actually had an ENJOYABLE experience getting my car fixed, which sounds crazy. read more

I am EXTREMELY pleased and grateful to Mark DeSeive, his team, and the receptionists for helping me and getting my car repaired and back to me before the estimated date of December 23, 2022. I got hit by a deer 500 feet from my residence on November 1, 2022 and am living in a part of town I am not really familiar with. I KNEW that Baron Collision did good work from friends and because I wanted the car repaired before January, 2023, I was allowed to switch my insurance estimate with the help of Nationwide Insurance to bring it to Baron Collision. I have PTSD and anxiety and was fearful of an anticipated snow storm and nervous about whether I could get out of the rental car and back into my own vehicle. They were all very receptive to my situation and were able to complete my car repair and had it ready for me yesterday, December 21, 2022. Just picked up my car and I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the work, let alone the process of getting it back to where it was before I was backed into. First I drove it in and they gave me an estimate. No appointment or anything. I was in and out quick, yet at the same time, Doug explained everything to me that needed to be done. Second, they update You the entire time it's getting worked on via text. I knew the whole time what was happening and when I could expect it back. Third, when I did go pick it up, I was floored. Seriously it looked better than when I drove it off the lot and it had eight miles on it! They detailed it inside and out. Looked brand new! Thanks to everyone involved in the process! My car was poorly repaired and came back to me with new damages. They refuse to pay for the repairs. Heading to litigation now.

Some "lady" (I'd use another term under different circumstances) hit my BMW last year. She hit me going to an off-ramp, and pushed me into the right side of the ramp. F'd up my driver side, part of the passenger side, and, as a result of my slamming the brakes and getting hit from behind, the rear. I took it to Baron BMW Collision for repair. Lucky me, parts had to be ordered from Germany. Took a couple weeks all-in, but they got it fixed. The real pisser that kept this review from four-stars, or even five, is their lack of attention to detail. The explanation: When I bought the car, it came with clear bra installed on the hood, rocker panels, doors, mirrors, and rear bumper to prevent rock chips. I pointed that out to my advisor, along with each of the other aspects of damage. He said they'd do a comprehensive review and get it fixed per BMW specs...so I left it at that. He also told me he'd keep me current, which he wasn't good at. I had to call him for any new information...which I wasn't happy about. Simple concept here...don't tell me you'll call me weekly if you have no intention of doing that. I got the first call that the car was ready, and went down to pick it up. I get there, see it sitting out front, and walk over to inspect before going inside to finish paperwork. Three big problems: my passenger wheel, badly rashed from the collision, hadn't been touched---looked like a**. Second, clear bra on the driver's door wasn't replaced after painting. Third, driver's mirror wasn't fixed properly, and the rear bumper hadn't been installed with the bra either. Turns out they missed the driver rocker panel too. I walk in, explain the problems, they apologize and take it back in. Wasted trip number one. Wasted trip number two: get the call "it's ready", drive back down to pick it up. I live in Independence (it's at least a half hour each time). Get there, same scenario as trip one...begin inspecting. They still didn't get the bumper bra replaced, and missed the rocker panel....again. GRRRRR---back in it goes. FINALLY...trip number THREE down there, and they get it ALL repaired. Finish the close-out, and I hop in---the car smells like wax and paint...to the point of being nauseating. I knew it would be bad, but this was narly. Anyway, I knew it needed to air for a week or more, so not REALLY surprised, but damn. I took it over to the BMW dealer to assess the value with their Used car manager, and even he was impressed at the overall level of quality on the repairs. They did good work, even if they weren't the greatest at being thorough the first (or second) time around. Having had the car back for awhile now, no issues with the repairs, and BMW handled all the insurance shizz...no worries at all, with a lifetime guarantee on the original work they did. Again, had it not been for two unnecessary trips (and lack of phone calls), this would've easily been four stars, maybe five. Still, they do good work on the brand, and when it's all finally done, really tough to tell there was $10k+ worth of damage. read more

He assured me that they would do a good job correcting the damage. I am here to tell you that they exceeded my expectations. I would HIGLY recommend this company for any car body damage. I thought that with the Baron name, these guys would provide the same level of service as the Baron dealership - yea, not so much. My month-old car sustained some damage to the passenger door and front fender, and the other party's insurance told me I could take it anywhere I wanted - so I dropped if off at Baron, thinking they would have better access to the parts for a new model such as mine. Well, a month later, I still had no car. The first time they told me the work was complete and I could pick it up, I took time off of work, got a ride there, then got in my car - and there were big blinking error messages. Whoops. So then I look at the exterior - and there, on my two-month-old car, was some kind of gooey residue all over the car, swirl marks everywhere in the paint, and it was obviously not clean at all. They had repainted two body panels, and not bothered to wash the car or make sure they had done a good job. The person I was working with made excuses and tried to say it was from the car sitting in the parking lot - but it was pretty obvious that their prep person had just done a crappy job. A week later, I go to pick it up, and even though I commented on the poor detailing and asked them to fix it, the paint still looks horrible - nominally cleaner, but still just full of swirl marks and obvious poor prep work. I just gave these people $6k, and they couldn't even be bothered to buff the paint properly. On the positive side, they were very nice people, and did try to fix it - but in the end, just had a bunch of excuses and poor quality control. I ended up just taking my car to an actual detailer and paid for them to remove the swirl marks and get the car back to like-new condition. $200 from my own pocket, but easier than trying to convince these guys to do a good job. read more

SUMARY: It was like we were in some sort of YouTube video that was satirizing car repair places. The work was so glaringly defective, and the explanations/excuses so absurd it was hard to believe they could keep a straight face while talking to us. They explained the defects in their work by saying that BMW makes defective cars, and even went so far as to say it is not possible to repair them correctly. Which they stated with no sense of shame or irony. Like most places attached to high end brands they guys charge a notable markup. The understanding being that you will pay more here, but will get top notch work. And in deed when you walk into their offices you see signs and plaques up everywhere claiming things like "highest quality work", and "EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS IN EVERYTHING WE DO", and talking about getting your car back in "factory condition". The reality is that their work is so bad it would be comical if it was not happening to your car. They do not have the training to know how to correctly do even basic repairs, and there seem to be no quality control checks being done at all. DETAILS: The first time my friend tried to picked up the car there was a section, of what was supposed to be a new bumper, bulging out. It was clear no one had even glanced at the car before calling to say it was ready to be picked up. They eventually admitted the bumper was incorrectly installed. The second time we went to pick up the car the bulge was gone, but the bumper did not line up with the hood, was un-evenly spaced against the headlights, there were white spots all over the front of the car. Despite stating that they were washing it when the called to say it was ready it was clear that not only had it not been washed they had not even bothered to wiped off the area they worked on which is why there where white residue spots all over the front. Besides the odd lie about washing the car, it was clear that once again no one had even looked at it after the work was done. Their response as to why the new bumper was attached crookedly floored us. They shamelessly stood their and told us the cars they specialize in working on (BMW) are badly made and the body panels are typically installed un-evenly. This despite the fact that none of the other panels were crooked, and that the bumper was on straight before they worked on it. They had no shame or irony in their explanation that they could not do good work because the only car make (BMW) they work on makes a bad product. Or that he was effectively telling us it was not possible for them to do the service they charge for. To say nothing of not meeting the claims they make when you walk in of betting your car back in factory condition. As the final cherry on top there as a ding in the door we were pretty sure was not there before. UPDATE: In response to the comment Baron posted on this review, you just demonstrated the same continuing inability for Baron to to get it together since this was not one mistake, it was constant series of sloppy mistakes. No one here cares about the quality of their work, nor is any one reviewing the work done before rushing it out. And I have no idea why you think we would ever come back since we got the car back in worse shape than when we brought it in, but we have no plans to EVER return. read more

My insurance company recommend Baron collision center and I accepted their recommendation because of their reputation as a high end automotive retailer. I wish I had researched them before hand as I would have gone somewhere else for service. The initial estimate was that the repair would be 14 days. The work to be done was to replace the back driver's side door and rear driver's side fender. It took almost twice as long. The first delay they attributed to a bad fender delivered by their supplier. Then they were further delayed by a window they broke during repairs. Then they stated that the wrong trim pieces were delivered for the wrong door. After 27 days of waiting for the work to be completed, I was notified that the repair was complete. Upon inspection of the work, the fender and the door color did not match the rest of the car. In addition, the rear driver's side door was not aligned correctly. The door was placed in crooked and the upper part of the door was at least 1/4 of an inch protruding out of alignment with the driver's door. I am still waiting for my car to be repaired correctly. Please consider this when you are looking for repair service for your vehicle. Do your due diligence of research better than I did. read more
