I hired Jonathan to work on my 63 Thunderbird pull the engine out, freshen up the gaskets and reinstall the engine. During the reinstall, he had the engine at too much of an angle and cracked the transmission bell housing. Car sat a year and a half at a transmission shop waiting for a transmission because during the install the torque converter wasn't pushed back far enough and broke the front pump now that I have it back I had to put a new carburetor on it, got it running and have nothing but leaks everywhere in engine oil leaks at the gaskets coolant leaks everywhere didn't use any sealer in any of the bolts that go through the water jacket. When I tried to reach Jonathan to discuss him coming over and fixing his mess, he doesn't answer. My calls. Would not recommend this service whatsoever. Quality shit read more

Called this man up cause he was one of the only people on this list that actually answered or didn't send me to an automated voicemail, he picked right up. My girlfriends car was feeling weird when she was driving and she pulled into a grocery store to shop and got out and noticed her front driver tire was almost completely off the hub studs, she immediately called me and I got to her and tried doing it myself and couldn't get it done because I'm not to mechanically inclined & gave up. I looked up for mobile mechanics on Google and found Red Wolf, like I said he immediately answered the phone, not a voicemail or automated messaging system trying to set up an appointment unline everyone else i was trying, I quickly told him what had happened and that I bought a new hub assembly to put on, cause my girlfriends car tire was holding on with 1 stud and 1 lugnut(Thank whoever was looking over us), he went ahead and quoted me a price and basically headed my way immediately (a grocery store), I had all the parts needed, new lugs, new hub. He looks at it and tell me I think I can save you some money already, hammered out the broken studs, told me to go and buy 4 new studs across the street from advanced auto(again thank you whoever was looking over us)and he installed them in about 10 minutes, then said he could just put the new studs in my hub because it wasn't damaged or defective or anything & tells me I can take back my $60 hub assembly that I bought from oriellys and put the new studs in, put my tire back on & he even let me pay on a payment plan, had me put down about 75% of the quote and then is letting me pay the rest threw out the next couple of weeks. He did amazing work, very fast and efficient & ready to come to you. Couldn't thank him enough for what he did. I'd recommend him to anyone I know for a broken down problem and needs help in a pinch fast. His pricing was a little on the high side, but then again he saved me money with letting me not use the new hub. read more

I was on my way to work this morning from Santa Clarita to Simi Valley when I noticed a weird smell coming from my car and my battery light turned on. I made it to work safe, but now I had to figure out what was wrong with my car. After some online searching, I came across Red Wolf Mobile Mechanic, and saw that he had really great reviews so I gave him a call. Jonathan answered all my questions and determined that it was the alternator that needed to be replaced on my 2008 Dodge Charger. He gave me the option of getting the part or letting me get my own part, which I usually always do and he gave me a great install price that I could not pass up. Talk about integrity, commitment and customer care!! Jonathan at Red Wolf Mobile Mechanic definitely displays all these qualities. I drove up to Simi for the day and wasn't able to get car my started back up to drive home. After a AAA tech and other mechanic check, it wasn't the battery, starter or sensors, and I was told I'd have to tow my car to a shop to replace the fuel pump. It was now about 6pm so I wouldn't make it home. Checked Yelp for local help and found Red Wolf open and listed with great reviews. Hopeful, I called and left a message. Received a return call from Jonathan within a few minutes. He asked some questions to confirm the issues and car details and started checking around for the fuel pump needed, called back and confirmed he had located the part and would be able to come by after picking it up. It was close to 7:30pm and he usually ends his business day at 8:00pm but he kept his word to get it done. Things were going well and about to wind up when he noticed he was handed the incorrect pump model... now 8:05pm, the auto parts store he initially went to JUST closed and the only other store that had the pump in stock was in Pacoima!! Instead of telling me he'd come back in the morning, Jon went to pick up the part. Above and beyond expectations for sure!! He promptly came back and got my car up and running again. Finally found an honest mechanic. Called him to do brakes on my Lexus and he looked at it and said It was not needed. I also needed to have my Dodge Ram looked at because it started missing. It took him about 5 minutes to discover 2 rats had died on my intake manifold but ate the wiring on 3 injectors first. He went and got the parts including a serpentine belt and charged me such a low price I thought he made a mistake.
