I got an inspection done, titling and tags installed on the car in less time than waiting for what clearly appears to be a grift here. I wouldn't even take my cars here now for air in the tires.

In my fifty plus years on this planet, I have been ripped off by countless automobile service…read morecenters and mechanics. How I wish I could turn back the times and get my money back. I am very bitter over this issue as I am sure you are as well. However, I have finally met up with the most down to earth and TRUTHFUL auto mechanics that I have ever come across in my entire life. Raytown Skelly Service has provided me with the absolute best service and care for my vehicles. I met them last summer when I came to Kansas City with a 1957 Willys CJ5 that needed some learned repairs. Let me tell you, not only did they trace down the scarce parts needed, but they even went as far as covering the topless jeep with a tarp at night. I liked that. I also have had my 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII taken there for repairs and always have it taken care of promptly and correctly. Once there was an issue with a replacement part they installed that was faulty. Not to worry, it was replaced in a jiffy at no cost to me. Yes, I smiled. I think their labor rate is $75 per hour. Don't tell them I said this, but, they should charge more for all reasons. Feel free to call them anytime at 816-356-5971

A job that normally take an hr and a half took 3 and a half hours. After picking up my car I noticed there was a dent in my car 2 days later. I've been going here for 10 plus yrs when his dad owned the place and Jim and Floyd were the mechanics there. I spent 400 to change my brake pads that morning, but he had the audacity to say he feels like I'm scamming him when he was the one who told me where to get the estimate.

So I knew the issues before I brought my vehicle to Virgils to get fixed. I called and spoke with Blake and made an appointment. The only complaint I have is that it took a long time for my vehicle to actually get looked at and repaired. That being said they were very fair with the pricing ($300 less than the dealer). In fact they could have nickled and dimed me to death but they didn't. I will be going back and I would reccomend this garage too anyone! 11/26/2019 I've now had Blake and his staff work on my vehicles multiple times. They really take their time to make sure you repair is done right. They will also attempt the least expensive fix first and will only charge you more if they have too. They are fair, ethical and trustworthy and they have proven it to me over and over!
