I drive 50 thousand miles a year and want good brakes. I told Larry that I wanted Manufacture parts on my brakes and when I picked it up the brakes squeaked and I called and Larry said that I said I didn't want manufacture parts because it would be more expensive. told him that I would never say that because the brakes squeak. I really trust the mechanic, who never pushes us to make expensive repairs. On the contrary, when I came here for a 2nd opinion I was advised to try running some Techron through my car, and was told that the expensive repair that another shop had recommended to me was unlikely to be a cost effective decision, given the age of my car. In all three instances, my wife and I have been given a patient and thorough explanation of the recommended repairs, which have been completed at a very reasonable cost, and with no issues at all. I was in a bad position after a minor crash, and I knew whichever mechanic I ended up going to would basically be able to absolutely work me over. Greg, instead, gave me an incredibly fair price (lower than I was bracing for by far)... and not only that, he did some cosmetic bodywork for me for free! He bolted on and cleaned up a hanging fender that was held on with wire, and since it wasn't on the original quote, he didn't charge me for it! Give these people your trust, and your car! That diagnosis cost me twice (2X, near $ 400.00) what other shops charge. I was told that the entire convertible top parts needed to be replaced and the only place to get these parts was from somewhere in California at a price of 3 K, no price on the replacement of said parts until the work was done. They showed me Hydraulic fluid under the car and was told it was from one of my car's leaks. I asked for a printout of the diagnosis; was told, for some reason they could only get the first two pages of printout for my records. To me that smelled. In short, I found a mechanic who replaced the two top cylinders (located in the trunk) for $ 500.00 parts and labor, rebuilt parts from Oregon, not CA. That is the only repairs needed, and the so-called Hydraulic leak was not from my car. IF it had been from my car, it would have been from another source according to my mechanic, the oil spot was not there when they parked my car in the garage, so I was supposed to fall for this ruse. No leaks since then, figure that out? I do not know where and how they get their 5-star reviews but as you can see on YELP there are several 1-star reviews from victims such as me, for me it could have been much worse had I not been suspicious. IF you take your car there, be prepared to give them a blank check.

I paid about $770 for two break pads, two rotors that didn't need to be replaced but was forced into because they refused to replace break pads if I didn't because "they don't service break pads alone", and one caliper to be replaced. The caliper itself cost $350 for them to provide and put a "newly refurbished caliper" on my car. I trusted that they would do the work they charged me for only to realize two days later, they had put the exact same caliper that was already on my car back on my car. When I took my car back in when I got the time to do so, I was told that the caliper got rusty due to the weather two days after they put a brand new one on and it was my fault. A brand new caliper doesn't get rusty and need to be replaced two days after being put on. My other calipers that's been on my car for YEARS isn't rusty nor in bad shape or in need of immediate repair like the "newly refurbished caliper" they put on my car. When I asked if they could replace it since I had a warranty and realized it was the exact same caliper that was already on my car or at minimum in the exact same condition, they refused because they claimed it was my fault, the fault of other unrelated work that needs to be done on my car that they want money for, and the hot weather's fault that it needed to be replaced after only two days of their work. They're predatory, misogynistic, dishonorable, racist, demonic, narcissists! If that sounds like the service you're seeking, come here! *Image of the same rusty caliper below & proof that I paid for it to be replaced. I was also told I had to pay for break bleeding, the fluid, etc in order to get caliper replaced.
