Since it changed from Sedona to Barnstone, we have eaten there numerous times. The menu is smaller, but all items are very well done. My wife is gluten free, and so many dishes on the menu are gluten free, it's a joy for her. I've had a new item, the salmon bowl, at least 6 times and it is beyond excellent. The only thing I personally would like to see changed is having a few more beers on tap or in bottle; I did like the immense selection of Sedona. read more

Fries were not hot!! Nobody wants room temp fries!! A restaurant that serves a sandwich with a side of fries that aren't hot shouldn't be in the restaurant business. And they weren't busy at all, so really no excuse. read more

This place is really more of a 4.5 and the food here is a 4. Maybe a little confused, but good quality. What really makes this place is the service. Our server was so friendly and welcoming. They are clearly creating an environment meant for the whole family. They are truly catering to the community. They have good happy hour specials and we were told kids (I think under 12) eat free on Sundays, and I can say we will definitely go back with the small human. Like I said, the menu is a little all over the place. It's definitely meant for comfort, but it was kind of hard to tell what direction it was meant to be. We got cocktails and they were great. Definitely had a southern, down home kind of vibe. We started with the nachos and soup of the day which was New England clam chowder. Both apps were great. The soup was really hearty. It's not always my favorite because when not done well, I really don't like it, but their New England clam chowder was truly exceptional. Nachos were loaded up and really good. For mains we got the BBQ duo of chicken breast and ribs. The chicken really was just chicken breast with bbq sauce on it, so nothing special but at least cooked well. The ribs were tender. We also got rigatoni rustico, which sounded more interesting than it was (it had a creamy Dijon sauce, which is what prompted us to order it, but the Dijon was hard to taste). That being said, it was still very nice. Overall, the menu was a little all over the place. It might be better if they picked a direction (definitely seemed geared more southern) and focused on whittling down the menu. If I could give half stars, I would give them a 4.5, but I'm rounding up to a 5 for exceptional service and a great vibe for the entire family. Stopped in on 11/1/25 and left happy (and full). The Twice Baked Wings were the highlight -- big, meaty, perfectly dry-rubbed, and roasted until crisp without being greasy. The blue cheese and celery were classic touches done right. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich hit all the right notes -- juicy breast, crispy coating, honey mustard that actually had flavor, and the bacon/swiss combo sealed the deal. Fries were solid, nothing special but cooked well. The Shotgun Shrimp Flatbread was a fun surprise -- spicy, cheesy, and loaded with shrimp tossed in that sriracha aioli. A little messy, but worth it. Service was friendly and the food came out hot. Not a five-star, but definitely a spot I'd come back to for wings and a sandwich. read more

We were in the mood for salads and decided to head to Barnstone Grill. It was a great choice. Salads were fresh and delicious. I got the Barnstone salad that had plenty of salami and cheeses and roasted red peppers. It was perfect. My friend got the chopped salad, which had a beautiful chicken breast on top. We shared it. Sedona will always hold a special place in my heart. It was where my fiancée and I had our very first date six years ago, and now we are getting ready to be married. That's why we were excited to see what Barnstone Grill would bring to the area. The food is excellent. I had the crispy chicken sandwich (pictured) and it was spot on--crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. The menu feels fresh and the quality is clear. What truly sets Barnstone apart is the service. Jackie has taken care of us on our last two visits and turned each meal into an experience we will remember. Her energy and attention to detail made the night special and made us feel at home. This was a frequently visited place for our family when it was Sedona, and so we were a little worried when the rebrand happened. We're happy to report after visiting this place a few times that most of our favorite menu items stayed, we recognize lots of familiar faces in the waitstaff, and the overall inclusive ambiance for families remains. The crispy chicken sandwich always SLAPS. The nachos are mostly reliable. You can pass on the dijon pasta rustico, as it's really too rich and one-note. It would be nice if they diversified their pastas a bit more, and bring back the salmon salad which was delicious! A neighborhood treasure :) read more

Sedona House was a 4 or 5 star establishment prior to the rebrand and one of our go to spots with friends and family. With the rebrand to Barnstone the options are much more limited and previous favorite dishes feel like downgrades. The burger which I considered one of the best in Mamaroneck is just okay. The flatbreads and sliders which were happy hour favorites are gone. Sweet potato fries also gone. Pasta primavera, the only non pork/shellfish pasta, gone. The kids Mac n cheese and chicken fingers, once my son's favorites, also feel like a downgrade. I understand with the rebrand there's an attempt to be more efficient, but I'm not happy with the changes. On the plus side, the service remains top notch! read more

I was a bit sad that this is no longer Sedona Taphouse as the roman parmesan crusted chicken was one of my comfort meals here!! I decided to give it a try for brunch and it was solid! The service was great, the vibe felt virtually same. The guava peach lemonade was absolutely fantastic, will definitely be getting that every time I come here. I got the eggs benedict and I was excited because the hollandaise had the perfect texture but taste wise I am STILL searching for the best hollandaise in Westchester --still haven't found one that's wowed me yet. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to that (sorry!) But I enjoyed everything else and had some of the French toast that my friend got, I really enjoyed that it was so flavorful with the spices. I find that it can be difficult sometimes to get French toast to not just taste like soggy egg bread but this one did have the cinnamon-y seasoning down pretty good. My only wish is that it was a bit thicker like the name "Texas" French toast suggests! But I will definitely be coming back for dinner in the near future! read more

Great service at the front desk made a mistake with my reservation and the lady took care of it immediately then the waitress wasn't as nice as I thought they should be. She kind of didn't look at us when she talked. She was a little annoyed with my question and kind of stayed that way all through the whole experience. The food was excellent. We have been going to this restaurant (owned by the same head chef as Sedona) for over eight years. Food is consistently great. They have tasty specials and change the specials depending on the day of the week. Gluten Free: Important -- I'm not Celiac, so I cannot speak to celiac GF. There are many gluten free options! I would say that at least 90% of the menu is GF, or can be made GF easily. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to know what is GF and what is not. Try the delicious crab cakes, tacos, fried chicken sandwich, pastas, and more! Don't forget to try the Cocktails and Mocktails -- delicious and worth trying with or without alcohol. Service: The same people who have been loyal to Chef Bill since the beginning of his residency on the site (Sedona now Barnstone) continue to be friendly, professional, kind and helpful. We come to Sedona Tap House once or twice a year, as we're based in the city and not specifically Mamaroneck. But it's always been something we look forward to. I actually wasn't aware of the rebranding until we got there this week. So we were a bit shocked to see so many of our favorite menu items missing. No more jam bruschetta. No more sweet potato fries. No more asparagus. And so on. And the quality of the food the new menu did manage to maintain was a major downgrade. In my attached images are salmon with sides of fries and broccoli from this week's visit, as well as salmon with sides of sweet potato fries and asparagus from last May (before the rebranding). Major difference. I never actually write reviews--I'm just sad to see a yearly favorite go down so much in quality. At first I thought they just changed the menu, and it wasn't until we got our food that I began questioning the quality. Then I searched online to find out about the rebranding. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back again unless things change. First time I've been back for the DINE FOR CHARITY & the steak was delicious & service was great. But I arrived a few minutes early & decided to order a drink. The bar was packed & only 1 bartender. I ordered a cosmo - they have a Happy hour & the posted price on their sign on the bar was $10 My table was ready & she was still backed up so she sent it over when it was ready. I also did not request any special vodka - I said the house one was fine. I get the bill & was charged $14 for this drink because they had to use vodka & some mention of Smirnoff I asked the waitress & did not understand her explanation & really felt ripped off. 1 drink was almost as much as my steak! The service here was always lovely here when it was Sedona Grill, and now that it is Barnstone Grill it still is. There are many familiar faces among the staff. The menu has something for everyone without having a menu that is too ambitious. Carnivores will love the steak and burgers, there are chicken and fish dishes and beautiful salads. The cocktails are delightful and there is a wide variety of beer and wines. The bar is a friendly place to hang out and they always have the tv on for watching sports. The outdoor patio with fire pit is so nice to sit at when the weather is nice. This area elevates Barnstone Grill beyond any other place nearby. read more

We went for brunch and were happy to see there was an unlimited mimosa option for two hours on the menu. Our waiter Hunter was great we informed him we would be fully taking advantage of that option and he assured us that he would accommodate us. This replacement for Sedona Taphouse was a horrible idea. The quality of the food is awful, yet costs more. The food options are boring and generic. The drinks are watered down and variety is boring. We went to Sedona Taphouse at least once a month, more frequently in the summertime, and always enjoyed what they have to offer. We'll never come back to Barnstone Grill. Was in for dinner on 8/25/25, which was my first visit since it changed to Barnstone Grill. I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu,which offered choices not available as Sedona tap house.. glad to see Bill is able to have free rein over his menu. I had the pork chop, which was juicy, and flavorful. It was served with a large side of mashed potatoes, and fresh broccoli. As a beer drinker I was glad to see a nice mix of tap beers. I enjoyed a draft beer from Jacks abbey brewery.which went well with the chop. Glad to see the staff is still the same group of dedicated people, which to me is continuing the same high level of service and food preparation. Good luck Barnstone, I will be back. read more

We recently had dinner here and the service and atmosphere were great. The burgers were very good and were cooked medium/medium rare as we requested. The crab cake entree was also very tasty but TBH only two crab cakes doesn't cut it for an entree. It would be great if the current tap beer list was at the table so customers can look at it and the server doesn't have to spend time going through it. The french fries were good but needed some salt. Charging for ice in scotch is an issue. I'd prefer if they charge an extra dollar or two for the drink - but don't charge extra for ice. As a Mamaroneck resident I hope Barnstone Grill does well - I think they have a little fine-tuning to do but I'd love to come back with a five star review in the future. read more

They're under new management with a brand new name, a new coat of paint and a new menu. We tried them on their fourth day after reopening, and while they may not be fully operational yet, we found the food extremely disappointing. My impossible burger was overcooked to hockey puck taste and consistency and my wife's eggs florentine was barely edible. Even basics like the fries were greasy and flavorless. Again, maybe eventually they'll get this how-to-prepare-food thing figured out, but if I were you I would wait until then. read more

I had some reservations when I saw the place was no longer the Sedona Taphouse, but I went anyway. Im so glad I did. The hostess assured me that it was the same owner and same staff as before. They offer only brunch until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. No fish offered on the brunch menu. I was looking forward to a salmon entree. The eggs with cheese were delicious! The toasted English muffin was the perfect compliment. The smoked, now called twice baked, wings and garlic mashed potatoes were as good as I remember. The white sangria and the cherry limeade were good. I think the clam chowder has pork in it, but it was good. The pear salad was missing a few ingredients from the menu, but it was good. I was not impressed with the waffles or home fries. The blueberries and strawberries were nice and fresh. Our server, Chris, was nice and attentive. I will be back, maybe after 3pm though, when I can have salmon. I hope the customers return. The place was pretty empty. I guess people are hesitant because of the name change. read more
