My dogs had the BEST time at Barkchella! This was our first time visiting and we absolutely love the space. There is a designated play area outside and a smaller play area for smaller/gentler dogs. I can't wait till it gets cold again so we can hang out by the bonfire while the dogs roam around. Location is by Ivanhoe village, which is very dog friendly and walkable.

Went here for a singles night. I don't have a dog but their advertisements also welcome people who don't own a dog which is nice. Me and my friend got the drink that was free and then got some food. The food was so good and the blueberry sour on tap was awesome. The bar staff were very sweet and attentive and they came and checked on us multiple times. They have darts and pool which was fun to join

First time being here, we had the pizza it was good very well made. The customer service was fantastic. They kept stopping buying the table. Make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy your time there. The ambience was fantastic seeing all the dogs playing in patting the dogs was outstanding. I'm giving this a five style review because the relaxation of being with the dogs was very beneficial.

We did not have any food when we were here, but I tried one of their seasonal drinks for valentines day and an espresso martini and I really enjoyed both of them. The staff was all very friendly and they have a large dog park area. We do have dogs, but not that night. Will look forward to coming back to try the food and bring our dogs with us to try the park out. It was a lot of fun to go out and see the other dogs that were in the park playing!

I absolutely love the concept here. It's a groomer, restaurant/ bar and a doggie play area, so you will get to see so many cute doggos! Definitely a bonus. As for the food, I loved the flavor in the Arayas (Lebanese burger). Definitely different and heavily seasoned, which I love. The slaw/salad that comes with it is super tasty, but I felt like adding more acidity would cut through some of the grease. We also tried the Zaatar wedges and they were so good with the garlic tahini and tzatziki. (pro tip: the tahini goes great with the Arayas). I think the wings we got were the North African wings and the flavor was delicious, however I'm a crispy wing girlie so they were a little soggy for my taste. Overall, I would come here again and definitely recommend. There's nothing better than hanging out with cute dogs and getting some food. This is obvious but I figured I'd throw it out there. You should expect noise and dogs barking, so if that's not your cup of tea, then maybe go somewhere else. I love the commotion and the opportunity to pet some doggies so I was in heaven.

Finally made our way to BarkHaven today and what a blast! Was invited to a paw-ty and it was so cute! We registered our dog once we got there, but I recommended to pre-register and have your rabies and vaccines on hand to upload! All the staff was friendly and kind to all the dogs! Super attentive and made sure everyone played nicely and kept any trouble makers apart lol! Tons of seating inside the park for owners as well as bowls and dog pools for the dogs to enjoy! Honestly the play area was smaller than it looks in pictures, but my dog still got to run around all over! It was super sunny today and there's not many shaded area so plan ahead especially with hotter weather approaching! Inside the patio/eating area, we enjoyed some of the delicious wings paired with a fairy dog mother cocktail. We got our dog a pup cake! Love that there's a couple of items to get for your dog! The menu had some nice options and I definitely will have to come back to enjoy a date night where my dog can come along haha!

The concept is pretty cool, with an outdoor and indoor seating area and a view of the dog play area. Weekdays they charge $10 per dog and weekends it's $15. Or you can opt and get a monthly membership for $35 and this also give you 10% off the menu items. Now they have a separate area for small dogs and this area has outdoor couches, tables to eat and a fire pit. It looks cool if you were to come on a cool day or in the evening. For a typical hot Florida day like today, it was too hot since there was no shade whatsoever in the small dog area. We paid $15 but didn't stay long because it was so hot, no shade, and no other dogs in the small dog area. So we paid just to have my dog in an enclosed area by himself. We took him to the large dog area and of course he's scared of large dogs so he just hid behind me the whole time. I do like they have someone monitoring the dogs and checking their behavior. I can see the appeal if you live in an apartment or don't have your own space for your dog to roam but I have a house on 1/2 acre of land where my dog is happy to run around in and not scared. This is also a good venue for dog birthday parties or "gotcha" days like others have mentioned. But they seem to only play country music. We ordered food, two main meals and the Patatas bravas as appetizers, one soft drink and one mocktail for $7. The total was still over $100 so it is pricey. The food was good though and the server was attentive. We got the $2 small dog cake and my dog didn't like it. It was peanut butter flavored so I was surprised he didn't.

I love this place!!!!! The cocktails are very interesting and fun. They have a dog food menu for you. They have beds and bowls for your dog at the table. It feels like a dog play place because you can put your dog in the dog park and eat at your table at the same time. They have babysitters for the dogs inside the park. Great spot to watch sports on Sundays! I love the fruit loop cocktail. The menu is a little Mediterranean style but it's good! All you have to do is email or upload the dogs shot records before you get there and it's $15 for your dog but free for humans. Then you obviously pay for your drinks and food. If you don't wanna bring a dog you can eat inside. It's still a restaurant

We came to BarkHaven on a Friday night to check it out and was so surprised! You check in at the lobby, where you can either pay for a day pass or sign up for a membership ($35 a month for unlimited visits and 10% off your bill every time). We're definitely getting a membership soon! Make sure you upload your dog's vaccine records online or bring them with you for your first visit! Inside, there's a full restaurant that's so nice, I actually forgot I was in a dog bar! Outside, there's a spacious turfed yard for the dogs to play off-leash, plus a cozy fire pit and extra seating to hang out. We sat inside, had a couple of drinks, and treated our dog to a pup cup and a pup cake - she absolutely loved them! Our waiter was fantastic, super friendly, and you can really tell that everyone here is a dog lover. We didn't eat this time, but the menu looked amazing, so we'll definitely be coming back soon to try the food. BarkHaven is the perfect addition to Ivanhoe - a great place to hang out with friends and pups in a fun, welcoming environment! Can't wait to return!

Love the space! The food was impressively good, we had the steak frites, Brussels, and the corn ribs and everything was so good. Staff was really friendly and they had staff to monitor the dog area as well which makes me feel reassured to come back next time with my pooch. Even has a parking lot which is rare for the area. Definitely check it out!

Per my furbaby Keller who went to BarkHaven with me, he says this place gets two paws up! This is such a cool concept for so my reasons. It was a simple process to submit Keller's vax records online before even leaving home so check-in on site was easy and only $15 for a day pass. I noticed they also have a grooming salon (uhm, this is genius! You're saying I can sip a mimosa whole someone rub a dub dubs the doggo? Perfection). The menu stuck us a really thoughtfully done and the Lebanese burger was very tasty. Keller enjoyed his post-play yard pup cup. Speaking of the play yard, we are grateful for the attendants being understanding of Keller's needs. He's a double Merle Aussie, meaning he is totally deaf and partially blind. Typically they require off-leash in the play yard but they let us keep him on leash due to his unique physical traits. What was funny (and not altogether unsurprising) was Keller was more interested in making friends with humans than other dogs, but there were a couple chill greyhounds who he vibes with. Definitely plan to return with my other hounds, especially the ones who like water as they keep these large bone-shaped trough pools full with clean water (they're dumped and refilled regularly) c and will sit in the fire pit couches area next time.

This is a new place that just opened up in Ivanhoe. Plenty of parking. Very open space high ceilings good decor. I ordered the Lebanese burger. It was juicy well spice and great portion. The coleslaw that came with it was a little spicy. They have their own draft which was a which was a little hoppy. Overall, good experience, good vibe, and great service. Next time I'll bring my dog.

Ashlynn W.

I loved this place!! It was such a great experience. The food was amazing. They brought everything out promptly. The drinks are even better. I really loved the two I ordered and the hot chocolate they made for me - it was chilly outside. The staff was extremely nice to me and my coworkers. Plus, the music was amazing.

There's a giant ice cube and a bamboo leaf or something and very little drink to drink. Not sure what to make of this because as soon as I was deciding if I liked it or not, it was gone. Wouldn't order this again. Second, I tried a $17 Adam & Eve. I wish the matcha was much stronger. There's a place in Tampa called Tori Bar that has a super duper matcha tasting cocktail. This one was much lighter. It was fine, not my favorite. Maybe I'd bring a date here sometime, but wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

We were especially impressed that servers not tending to our table placed orders/knew of orders and communicated with the waitress serving us. Most restaurants struggle to keep orders ready with the designated server, this place EXCELLED with communication. We all enjoyed a variety of different cocktails, all of which were delicious (however a bit pricy for some) and all partook in appetizers and entrees. ALL of the food was delicious and had fair portions, couldn't say enough good things. This place is a bit cramped but not horribly, the decor is cute and everything is clean :) Most importantly, to celebrate the birthday we were brought a tres leches cake that paired very nicely with the pastelitos and cafecito service! I just apparently still believe that when oysters and $47 pasta appear on a menu, one should be able to hear the person sitting across the table. To be fair, the service throughout the evening was excellent and attentive, and the bourbon drinks ("Filthy Behavior") were genuinely good. We also ordered the croquettes, Caesar salad bites, 12 oysters, the spicy rigatoni with lump crab, golden rice with shrimp, and a discounted prosecco because it was oyster/prosecco Tuesday. The pasta itself was cooked properly, and the golden rice ended up being the least salty thing we ate, which unfortunately made it the standout. Everything else tasted as though the kitchen had recently suffered a tragic misunderstanding involving seawater. At one point we asked if the music was usually this loud because we genuinely couldn't hear each other speak. Our server kindly said she would check on it, but either management said no or the DJ entered a blood oath with the sound system. Conversation had become theoretical. Maybe this is the vibe now. Maybe dining is no longer about the food and meaningful conversation, with lighting so oddly bright--less intimate dinner, more "the club is closing, please locate your belongings"--while paying $220 for two people with automatic gratuity included. For me, the whole experience felt wildly overpriced--ordinary food dressed in extraordinary.
