    Rigatoni Bolognese
    Weiting H.

I came here for dinner with friends on a Tuesday night, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food is delicious. I got the rigatoni bolognese and it was so flavorful. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the meat in the sauce was so tender. I also asked the server to request from the bartender, a sweet mocktail and they made this passion fruit mocktail for me. That was delicious.

Barka salad. Terrible picture and lighting- doesn't do it any justice at all. I'd order this every time I dine here.

Came here for dinner for the first time this past Saturday night. Parking lot was packed - a good sign. Walked in and the atmosphere and decor of the place was incredible. It's a beautiful restaurant. We were seated quickly (party of 6 with a reservation). Our water order was confusing (3 tap, 3 sparkling) but the waitstaff made sure to learn it and get it right from the get go. My mule was good as well as a dining companions spritz. She didn't like her first drink, something spicy. Said it wasn't actually spicy. Some highlights of the meal include the complimentary bread and tahini, the truffle fries, Barka salad, halibut special, lamb, scallops, shrimp scampi and chicken Milanese. Brussels sprouts could have been crisped more but the flavor was good. Asparagus were overcooked for some, but I enjoyed as it wasn't drenched in oil. All agreed the risotto was overcooked and mushy. Still tasty and decent to eat, but not as good as traditional home cooked risotto. We didn't order coffee or dessert and weren't rushed out of our table either. Overall everyone enjoyed their first Barka experience and we will definitely be back. I want to try their lunch specials!

Beautiful restaurant. We went out for my husband's birthday, food was great and quick service. Overall such a nice time!

I recently went for brunch, and it was excellent! Service was top notch, and food was stellar. Hubby and I split both the lemon ricotta pancakes and the cacio e pepe croissant sandwich, and I couldn't have been happier. Booth was super comfy. Will definitely be our new go-to when we want to splurge on breakfast!

The food was excellent. Stuffed halibut with crab, chicken parm, and bone marrow all recommended. The service and ambience were also excellent.

I've come to Barka a few times for great happy hour deals at the bar. Recently visited for a private party and we ate a bunch of Italian food. The food itself was great - penne alla vodka and chicken parmesan were my favorites. The eggplant rolitini was also done pretty well. Many options were provided. The service itself was just ok. The attendants had to be told each time to replenish the food but overall it was a good experience.

Very nice place and people. Very good service and food. High end food quality and price as well. Good experience.

Attended a wedding reception here, which was my first visit. The food was great overall, and it looks like they have a lot of special event menu options at different rates. I tried all of the apps, which came out at a good pace. They included caprese, shrimp arrabiatta, grilled artichokes, zucchini and eggplant chips, and clams oreganata. The shrimp arrabiatta and zucchini/eggplant chips were my favorites. For dinner, I selected the filet mignon, and my husband had to get the 20oz ribeye, which is never seen as a wedding menu choice. I did prefer the ribeye, which was more flavorful than the filet (fat = flavor). The salad was decent but didn't have mango as advertised. There was a huge plate of decadent desserts that we sampled (apps and desserts were all served family style at the table). I'm not sure if the cake was restaurant made. I'd come back to try the other food, the main restaurant was positively buzzing, and the seafood smelled incredible. It is a pretty big restaurant.

We came here for a friend's birthday party. The moment we walked in the restaurant, I felt that this place is special. The decor is beautiful and they also have rooms for parties that's where we were. I cannot believe how good the food is especially given it is buffet style. The food was fresh. Fried calamari was perfection and the steak was rare in the middle. The salmon and shrimp were excellent, grilled veggie had just the right amount of seasonings. The coffee was very smooth and the desserts are amazing, especially the key lime pie. The bartender was super nice as well. My wife and I said to each other we will definitely come back for our next family gathering.

Barka was a great experience! This is the quintessential date or celebration restaurant. The food was excellent - it lost a star because of soggy skin on the fish. The fish was cooked well - except the skin - and the sides excellent. This isn't the typical Mediterranean restaurant- so check the menu. The staff was VERY VERY attentive.

This was my second time coming to this place!! The first time it was for my friend's birthday party!! And we (my husband and I) felt that it would be a nice place to bring our family, hence the second time!! And it did not disappoint!! When it was my friend's birthday party, it was buffet style, but the food was delicious... everything was fresh and well seasoned, they gave you so much options, from steak, to chicken, to fish, pasta, vegetables, and not to mention desserts and coffee... and when we went back for our family dinner, we all ordered different thing, from steak, to pasta, to whole branzino, lobster and lamb shank.. calamari and octopus as appetizer and gelato and key lime pie for dessert!! It's not cheap!! But you get what you pay for!!! Service is great!! My water glass was always filled, and they are very polite and helpful!! My mother in law said that her friend recommend her to go there for lunch since they have special lunch menu!! Maybe we will have to try it out next!!

    Barka at their best.

Funny thing. Sometimes Barka is great. Great food, great service. Other times it's not that great. Slow service and the food is not that good. It's almost like they are bothered that you are even there. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. Sorry about that.

It was so beautifully decorated and very lively with music and happy people. The hostess checked our reservations and headed up to the booths by the bar. We asked to be seated in the lower section of the restaurant so we can talk and they easily accommodated the request. The service and attention during our meal were incredible. There were several people filling our glasses, clearing plates and providing excellent service without being intrusive. They brought bread to the table, took away wine glasses since we weren't having wine and brought a delightful appetizer platter of hard cheese, meat, olives and veggies. Yum! I normally don't order many appetizers but our friend insisted since he loves them and likes to share. We ordered the calamari, meatballs and roasted artichoke hearts. They brought octopus instead of calamari, but quickly corrected the error. I'm not gonna lie, the octopus looked really good, I would've been ok w/ keeping it. (I recently discovered how much I enjoy it) the calamari was good and the sauce fresh. The meatballs were tender, not overly seasoned. The artichokes didn't look grilled or the way described in the specials. We wondered if it was a different but it was lemony and yummy a we went with it. See pictures for how cool the 3 looked. Plenty of food and very filling. I ordered my signature Cosmo which hit the spot, chilled and the perfect amount of flavors without being too alcohol heavy. No one else drank but I toasted hubby anyway. I ordered the beet salad w/ nuts, goat cheese and added chicken. It was huge! I had it for dinner again last night. The chicken could have been more flavorful or seasoned better but the salad had a lot going on so it was fine. My friend got the beet salad ( no chicken) and burger which she devoured. Some skinny people can eat! My husband ordered a chicken dish but wasn't thrilled with it. The chicken had little flavor and it was overwhelmed with tomatoes and had raw onion. It didn't look great, but he isn't one to complain, especially if he wasn't paying. My friend got the gnocchi bolognese and added chicken. It was a lot of food and he seemed to really enjoy it! We sat for about 3 hours and were not rushed in any way which was super nice. We were so full but somehow split a piece of ricotta cheesecake and the men got cappuccino. All good. Overall, the appetizers were my husband's favorites ( we were celebrating him) the place was beautiful, the owner and servers went above and beyond, and we had a lovely evening. I will go back for sure. I liked that the menu offered both lighter fares, lower cost items, high end steaks and even one of those cheese wheels that look so cool but I can't eat that much pasta! Go check it out if you are in the area.

We were seated at a nice large table by the friendly host. We ordered a few drinks, which were really good. Two of us ordered a specialty sangria, these were a really good choice. Dinner was fantastic, everyone loved their dishes and three of the four of us had plenty to take home. The dishes were quite large and well worth the menu prices. I had the seafood pasta and it was loaded with lobster and scallops with four jumbo shrimp. Each of us really enjoyed our choices, and can't wait to go back to try a new dish. Service is so wonderful, a really good server to guest ratio, which I always consider a hallmark of a well run restaurant. They are under the same ownership as Barka, and you can certainly tell that in all aspects. Leo, our host was super gracious and you can tell he enjoys what he's doing. All the servers were knowledgeable and kept checking glasses, etc. You never have to hunt anyone down, they really had everything running so beautifully. They all seem so dedicated to making sure you're happy, a really nice thing after a long week. If you're looking for a new place to try, please make a reservation, you won't be disappointed.
