Immediately you arrive at the most beautiful inn that they had all decorated for fall. The hostess was so kind and warm when we entered the restaurant. Our whole party wasn't there at the same time, so we grabbed a drink at the bar; extra points for having backs on all the bar seats which is so much more comfortable. Amanda the bartender was SPECTACULAR! She had so much knowledge of different drinks and spirits, was kind, and made a delicious drink. She started our dinner journey off perfectly. We were sat in a corner cozy booth/round table and the price fix menu made it easy to dine with another couple and all be able to chose your own dishes. All of the food and presentation were delicious and incredible. They were flexible with everything and for all being first time diners here it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

The renovations have made an improvement on the comfort and style of this Old Inn. The service is very good, and Chef Michael is a seasoned Pro. The food quality is above average. I found the prix fixe menu a bit challenging as there has been great effort in describing all the nuances of each offering, but overall it is somewhat disjointed , and lacks categorization, grouping pasta, poultry, meat and fish in a way that is organized. Perhaps that is what they were going for, but it makes it harder to compare, decide and choose your selection IMO. I did catch a discrepancy with the beet and Trevisano Radicchio salad. The radicchio was the regular kind, and cut into small pieces. This should be stated up front to anyone who orders it, if you run out of that which you present on the menu as Trevisano. The desserts were all delicious and a great finish to an enjoyable meal. They offer a reasonable $35 corking fee, to anyone who wants to bring their own wine. This is the best quality Italian food in the area. We look forward to to returning again

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!
