I signed up for group classes but we were the only ones registered so it ended up being a one-on-one. I would totally recommend it!! Rebecca is the trainer at Spring Valley. She was so patient and explained everything very well. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I can tell Dixie looked forward to going to her class every Thursday because she would get excited once we were close to the building. Rebecca was also flexible with rescheduling due to our life issues. On her last class Dixie received her certificate and a bag full of goodies. I can see a huge improvement in Dixie's behavior!! She took it upon herself without ANY discussion with me and CUT my baby's hair SO SHORT , I COULD NOT recognize her. She no longer has the signature westie face, has random wisps of hair on her face that were left long, and blade marks thru her body instead of a steady taper from her body to her legs. When I brought up how I distraught, upset and disappointed I was by her taking it upon herself to cut my dog's hair so short, how amateur the job looked and how unrcognizable my baby girl is, she barely apologized, said that HAIR GROWS BACK, did not sound remorseful and argued with me about MATTS in her fur when it is known by myself and my friend who both combed her frequently before the service that were NO matts or matted fur present. Jake provided a full service grooming which means he took time to bathe, cut, brush his teeth, and trim his nails. His cut was so precise and clean, and he provided the service with fair pricing, which was a big plus. One thing to keep in mind is that the establishment does not accept cards so it's cash or payment app only. We've been going to this groomer for a couple years now. They do a good job, especially for the…read moreprice. A full cut, wash, nails, etc. is $80 for our medium sized labradoodle. We are usually able to call a couple days before and get in if it's not the weekend. Otherwise you should probably call a couple weeks ahead. On the day of the appt you can drop your dog off between 7 and 10am. When we've dropped her off around 7 we can usually pick her up around noon. Later dropoffs and we've had to get her closer to close. They give you a call when they're done. Everyone working there has been very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
