If you need your pet bathed and groomed, give Paws N Claws a look! They come to you so less stress on your pet. Jackson tends to get matted fur when he starts shedding before summer so he gets a lion cut every spring. He feels so good after his cut and prances around the house. Thank you! Jackson looks great! Maria is beyond amazing. I rescued a pomeranian thats coat was not kept up. He had some neglect. Maria worked a miracle, she got all of his matts, he is like a new puppy. He left her wagging his tail, staring at her with love. I am so very happy. Shes so compassionate and does this because shes truly talented and a huge animal lover. read more

This groomer required either a Wallet or Venmo account to be paid and she wanted $70 in advance before every appt. She charged $130 to 150 or more per dog, and no dog over 40 pounds. After I bent over backwards trying to accommodate her requirements, she then decided I wasn't going to be a good customer for her. It also took her six hours, parked in front of my house, to groom my two small dogs. I would not recommend this person to anyone. read more

I hired Maria to groom my elderly cat and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, she is punctual and clearly an experienced professional; her grooming methods are very efficient for a typical cat, and I appreciated her willingness to take on a senior pet. However, I encountered significant difficulties regarding the specific needs of my 17-year-old Ragdoll. Because of his age and coat type (based on years of grooming him myself), he requires a specific approach and certain products to avoid matting. Despite previously agreeing to use my specific shampoo and conditioner to prevent the severe tangling we experienced during our last session, Maria insisted on using her own conditioner during this second appointment, stating she "knew best." It felt as though my insights into my own pet's needs were dismissed, despite the fact that I had already handled his ears and nails to make her job easier. The most disappointing part of the experience was the billing. Because I stood my ground on using the products my senior cat requires, the service did not proceed. Despite the fact that I was home and ready for the appointment, Maria charged me her full "no-show/late cancellation" fee. Being penalized with a cancellation fee when I was present and simply asking for a previously agreed-upon care plan felt very unfair. Maria is undoubtedly a skilled groomer for standard clips, but I would suggest she be more open to owner requests for special-needs pets. I'll be looking for a groomer who is more comfortable following a client's customized care plan for their pet's comfort and safety. read more

Maria did an amazing job with my Yorkies groom. It was only his 2nd time getting groomed & his first time was not so great. Unfortunately his first groom was at Petco :(( You can really tell the love & patience Maria has for dogs. I will definitely be booking with her again! read more

Very well done Maria! I haven't brought my two dogs to a groomer for years. The as process was time consuming for me and traumatizing for my dogs. Taking them to the vet for nails and sanitary procedures was just as bad. Ophelia and Max look great. Ophelia was a little nervous at first but settled right in to the 1.5 hours of pampering. If I could give Paws N Claws more Stars, I would. read more

Had i hopes based on reviews but no luck! This review is solely based on customer service, customer engagement and response. Called twice and Left a voice message, text with all my information last Wednesday to get information on prices and availability even though I believe i feel within the limits of the service area and voice recording said they were accepting new appointments, no response, reply or phone call back. 1 star rating for me! read more

Paws N Claws is truly the best! Maria used to groom our King Charles - Poodle at her previous location. After she left to start her own business we continued to take Bella to that groomer but we were never happy with the service and there was always something wrong with out little ones haircut. After a bout a year of frustration and lots of digging we found Maria and we are so happy we did! Maria does a great job with Bella plus, we don't have to leave our home which is a great perk especially now in today's post COVID 19 world. As soon as we saw in the news that pet groomers could open, we called Maria and she was here the very next day! I unfortunately don't have great photos but next time I'll be sure to take some before and afters to update this post so you can see Maria's magic touch! read more

Texted business for information and was informed they are not taking on any new clients at this time. Responded very quickly and professionally. read more

I had Maria wash and groom my two babies, and now I will never go back to a grooming salon. I have a very timid dog(Lilly), who doesn't respond well when in unfamiliar places. I had to carry to carry her into the kennel and I felt like a horrible dog mommy for leaving her. My little was groomed by Maria and now she greets her with wet kisses and a wagging tail. My second fur-child is Lexi, who is also not a big fan of kennels. In fact, she suffers from anxiety and starts chewing herself if left unattended for too long. The best part about Maria is that she comes to my home and will focus on just my dogs, and all I have to do is walk them back inside ! I never had my dog get perfumes because Paws N Claws and now my girls don't even smell like dogs! Overall I am beyond satisfied with the convenience, service, price and attention to my little babies! read more

These easy going always on time professionals are so cool. It's always been very stressful for my little Chihuahua terrier mix to go to the vet to get her anal glands expressed and her nails done. now her and I walk to the end of the driveway after Paws And Claws text us that they've arrived. And it's like second nature to Ruby because she's always on her playing field. There's no changes she hops right into their arms and into their mobile pet salon . Your pets reaction to situations and people can tell you a lot about them. Ruby loves these two. That being said her girlfriend Bella has now become a client. And she loved her grooming the day before yesterday . thanks again from the bottom of our hearts. See you next month the Whittle's read more

We found Paws and Claws Mobile Grooming after visiting 2 other groomers and thought Maria would be a good fit for our Yorkie puppy. He had become very comfortable with her and so were we. However, after 5 monthly visits Maria decided she no longer wanted to service our pet. We live downtown but would drive to her Spring Valley location because her Grooming truck was inoperable and needing repairs. We showed up for our appointment to find the grooming truck gone. Confused we called and texted Maria with no response. As we're driving home we received a text saying our appointments for the next 3 months had been canceled and that she was no longer a good fit for our family. No explanation was given except the right to refuse service. How devastating!! We are now in the process of finding a new groomer for our fur baby which is stressful for us all. I hope and pray this NEVER happens to you. We were completely blindsided. Huge disappointment!!! read more

This was our first time using Maria and her mobile grooming service Paws n' Claws, It was Fantastic! First off, It's quite convenient NOT having to drive to the groomers two times for drop off and pick up, woo hoo! Those days are over. Maria did a great job with Chloe's haircut. Perfect little yorkie cut w/ a cute bow to top it off. For a first attempt she pretty much nailed it. The van was very clean and kept cool for Chloe's comfort. It sounded like she had a lot of experience chatting with her and it showed in her work. We will certainly use Maria again for Chloe's next grooming! Highly recommend giving her services a try! FIVE STARS FOR SUREEEE!!! read more

Maria is amazing! She put my dog at ease and got her to the point she did not even hesitate to be groommed after just a few visits. She is so kind and gentle! Definitely a keeper! Hire Paws and Claws if you can, you won't regret it!!! read more

Calling Maria was the best thing I could do for myself and my dog! While I loved our last groomer, I've always hated the idea of leaving my dog at the groomer for 3 to 4 hours, not to mention the driving back and forth for the appt. Found Maria through another groomer, and made an appt within one week. I got a notification when she was on her way to my house. It only took about 1 hour and Gizmo seemed to really like her (he likes no one! Lol). When she walked him to the front door, his newly trimmed tail was wagging away and he looked great! Thanks so much Maria! read more

This is the BEST groomer I've ever found! They are so professional & their website is awesome. They're not especially cheap but you get a LOT for the same price you would pay for less services. You can't ask for nicer groomers. I have a very nervous chihuahua and this groomer is so good with her that on the 2nd visit she was happy to see her!! This is amazing because my little girl doesn't like anyone outside the family! I feel so lucky to have found them!!! read more

We had our 2 dogs scheduled with Maria for a complete groom and she was awesome with dogs! My dogs loved her and I could tell because the first dog that she groomed was wagging his tail and even went up to her seemingly trying to say thank you and bye when she was about to leave. He was never anxious and panting like he usually is when we would bring him to Petco or come to pick him up after the groom. The second dog was really difficult to work with, although I can tell that he liked her too but he couldn't control his anxiety. She did her best to try to groom him. She was very patient and nice with the dog but in the end decided not to continue on with the grooming because the dog was just too anxious and she was afraid the dog would get injured from the scissors and razor for moving too much. She didn't even charge us anything for that dog. My first dog looks so cute now, she gave him a free bandana and he loves Maria so we're keeping her. Thank you, Maria! read more
