It's crazy how they've made no adjustments after multiple people mentioning this in reviews. Unacceptable, avoid this place.

I signed up for group classes but we were the only ones registered so it ended up being a one-on-one. I would totally recommend it!! Rebecca is the trainer at Spring Valley. I can tell Dixie looked forward to going to her class every Thursday because she would get excited once we were close to the building. Rebecca was also flexible with rescheduling due to our life issues. On her last class Dixie received her certificate and a bag full of goodies. I can see a huge improvement in Dixie's behavior!! Thank you Rebecca!!! Side note: The rest of the employees there were also very sweet. I was always greeted with a smile!

I called over the phone with some questions and when I came in and mentioned to both ladies at the register, one acknowledged that they helped me over the phone and showed me exactly what I was looking for. I wish I took a picture of their full menu, but their prices are fair and appointment availability is super convenient.

BEWARNED - I took my Westie (west highland white terrier) here last week for a full body trim,…read moreserviced by Jolene, for the 1st time and will never trust them again. Please see the photos of the result; before the service we discussed a photo of a Westie face, half of the length off the body, and shorter hair on the legs. She took it upon herself without ANY discussion with me and CUT my baby's hair SO SHORT , I COULD NOT recognize her. She no longer has the signature westie face, has random wisps of hair on her face that were left long, and blade marks thru her body instead of a steady taper from her body to her legs. When I brought up how I distraught, upset and disappointed I was by her taking it upon herself to cut my dog's hair so short, how amateur the job looked and how unrcognizable my baby girl is, she barely apologized, said that HAIR GROWS BACK, did not sound remorseful and argued with me about MATTS in her fur when it is known by myself and my friend who both combed her frequently before the service that were NO matts or matted fur present. Take a look at the photos and decide if this is something you want for your precious pet. I paid $90 with tip and was NOT offered a refund or any compensation.

The staff was nice and welcoming, and the lobby was clean and well kept. I brought my dog in for a nail trim, which they handled quickly and professionally. The only hiccup was with the walk-in policy. Online, nail trims are listed as a walk-in service, so I stopped by assuming it would be straightforward. When I arrived, they explained that walk-ins are only allowed during certain hours on certain days. To their credit, they made an exception since they weren't busy at that moment, which I appreciated. That said, it was a little frustrating because that information isn't listed on Yelp or their website -- it's only posted on a sign inside the shop. I'd still come back because the service itself was good, the staff was kind, and the prices are fair. I'd just recommend calling ahead to confirm hours if you're planning to use a walk-in service. Suggestion for the owners: it would really help customers if the website and Yelp page clearly listed the walk-in hours so people know what to expect before they arrive. TL;DR: Affordable, clean, and friendly dog grooming spot with convenient parking. Just call ahead if you're planning to walk in for services like nail trims, since the walk-in hours aren't currently listed online.
