One thing that I love about Alexis' shop is that she uses all-natural products - nothing has chemicals. While she doesn't offer flea treatment, when our Malti-poo Monkey needed it, she was happy to apply whatever product we brought to her. Alexis is very considerate of your busy schedule too by sending a text reminder for appointments and will text you when she's ten minutes from finishing the grooming visit. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she's on Venmo! Most importantly, she loves the dogs - all of them - and treats ours as if it were hers. She's kind and friendly - no wonder she has a successful business. She's super busy - booked months in advance - so get in when you can!

Alexis does an amazing job. I switched groomers because my Yorkie didn't like the groomer we were at. They would always complain about him biting, but I knew that he only would snip at someone that was being mean or forceful to him. We switched to Alexis and she had no problems with him. She is good with the dogs and does an awesome job with her work. I would recommend her to anyone, but she is booked up a lot, so schedule your appointments in advance.

Hands down, the best in the business. We've been going to Alexis for years! We have two shih tzus and a pekingese/japanese chin mix and she is the only one we trust with them. We had a really bad experience with our last groomer (razor burns, rashes, etc.) But we NEVER have to worry about that with Alexis. She is so careful, detailed and experienced. Be sure to book way in advance because she is extremely busy, but so worth it. We are so grateful for all that she does for our babies.

We just found our new pet groomer! After a bad experience at a "big box" groomer, I went to Yelp to find a new pet groomer for our Pom "Hatchi". Alexis did an awesome job returning our VERY overdue little hairball into a neatly trimmed (and now much cooler) ball of energy. She was great to work with, welcoming to our Pom and provided a safe, clean environment for our little guy. Great communication, great price and quick! (We even made our next appointment).

My pup always comes home smelling nice and clean ! Decided to bring my pup to Alexis based on her ratings and how close her shop is to our home. We have been so happy with her approach and care for our senior blind dog! Her and her brother have been the only ones able to trim his nails FULLY. I've been taking Gia to Alexis a few years now regularly and she does an awesome job on my mini poodle. She also treats her well. Updating a year after my first review to say I still couldn't be happier! I asked for a schnauzer cut recently on my mutt, and they did the best job and made him look so fancy. I also now bring my two sensitive senior chihuahuas and they are at ease enough walking in here. My big dog scratchers on the door jumping to get in so I know he absolutely loves it there. read more

We took our Frenchie puppy here for some grooming, mostly his nails because I'm scared to cut them! They were very welcoming and excited to see our pup. He seemed to have a great time while he was there (we didn't go in, COVID). He also smelled so amazing after he came back to us! Can't really leave a review based off services just customer service, due to the fact we only communicated once. We texted to schedule an appointment, after receiving one text back asking what breed our puppy was and then we never got a response. Not sure if they were too busy to fit us in or didn't want to work with us. This was unprofessional in my opinion. read more

Called Monday and Tuesday to make an appointment for Friday or Saturday. Didn't get a response for Monday's call and no response for Tuesday's call. Called Bonita Dog Grooming Wednesday and got a Friday afternoon appointment. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from this place. I wonder if she treats peoples animals this way. Will not be calling this place ever again. read more

The only reason I no longer use Alexis as my pet groomer is because I was spending ~1.5 hours on groom days driving my dogs (drop off, back home, pick up, back home). I opted for a place closer to home, though not better. Alexis is not only a skilled groomer, but she is particularly good at dealing with anxious and stressed out dogs as she did with my dog Crispy. She is very patient! Miss your grooming, Alexis, but not all the driving. read more

I have tried to contact this place so many times and have heard nothing back. They never answer their phones which is incredibly unprofessional. I can't find pricing anywhere, it's hard to find cat groomers and I just wanted to know what pricing looked like to see if I could make an appointment. I think I found Alexis from Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed! She has been taking care of my two chihuahuas for almost a year. I make sure to book appointments in advance because she does get booked up. I think that's a good sign, though. I brought my German Shepherd in for a bath, deshedding, and nail trim. She's 2 years old and has never been to a groomer before. The wonderful ladies here took great care of her and Kylie was a little sad to leave her new pack! She smells great and it was a great experience overall. The prices are good, the amount of time spent was good (actually, it went quicker than I thought it would be!), and the place is well maintained. The two ladies I met today have big hearts, and you can see it in how they treat each dog. I'll definitely bring Kylie back. read more

Our first appointment starts at 9am, the last booked appointment is at 4:30pm. We do not offer mobile services. Customized dog grooming in a low-stress environment, at affordable rates. We offer one-on-one attention for pets that are new to grooming and or with special needs that may require a little more TLC per owners request. We take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable, and leaves feeling like a whole new dog. All breeds welcome. All temperaments attempted. This establishment is by appointment and does not offer mobile grooming services, daycare or boarding services.

Established in 2016.

With a certificate in pet grooming and several years working as a pet stylist, Alexis finally opened up her own establishment in July of 2016. She has a passion for the animal world and grooming your pet is not only a job, to her it is a hobby and will dedicate the time and attention that is needed to make your pets feel comfortable and look great.

I signed up for group classes but we were the only ones registered so it ended up being a one-on-one. I would totally recommend it!! Rebecca is the trainer at Spring Valley. She was so patient and explained everything very well. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I can tell Dixie looked forward to going to her class every Thursday because she would get excited once we were close to the building. Rebecca was also flexible with rescheduling due to our life issues. On her last class Dixie received her certificate and a bag full of goodies. I can see a huge improvement in Dixie's behavior!! She no longer has the signature westie face, has random wisps of hair on her face that were left long, and blade marks thru her body instead of a steady taper from her body to her legs. When I brought up how I distraught, upset and disappointed I was by her taking it upon herself to cut my dog's hair so short, how amateur the job looked and how unrcognizable my baby girl is, she barely apologized, said that HAIR GROWS BACK, did not sound remorseful and argued with me about MATTS in her fur when it is known by myself and my friend who both combed her frequently before the service that were NO matts or matted fur present. His cut was so precise and clean, and he provided the service with fair pricing, which was a big plus. One thing to keep in mind is that the establishment does not accept cards so it's cash or payment app only. The location was convenient for me and is in a shopping center that's easy to get in and out of. I will definitely be back for Jake!

We are usually able to call a couple days before and get in if it's not the weekend. Otherwise you should probably call a couple weeks ahead. On the day of the appt you can drop your dog off between 7 and 10am. When we've dropped her off around 7 we can usually pick her up around noon. Later dropoffs and we've had to get her closer to close. They give you a call when they're done. Everyone working there has been very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Since the retirement of Dr. Roger Beckman and, I'm guessing, the sale of ACC, it feels like the focus has shifted from pet care to pet sales. We brought our puggle in because one of her nails was growing abnormally and needed attention. This was a follow-up visit after an initial appointment that cost $392 for an exam and antifungal medication. At today's visit, we were given two options: sedate her for about $200 and trim the nail, or trim it without sedation and give her something for discomfort beforehand. We chose the second option. The nail was trimmed back, along with the rest of her nails. When we received the bill, however, we discovered we had been charged nearly $100 for a Carprofen injection that had never been quoted. My wife questioned the charge, and the technician acknowledged the concern, but by then the injection had already been administered. The total bill for today's visit? $317. That included the injection plus $37 for two Carprofen caplets. So after spending more than $700 between the two visits, we ended up with a trimmed nail and a lot of sticker shock. To be clear, Dr. Sullivan was great. She was professional, caring, and took the time to explain the treatment plan. My issue isn't with her. It's with a process that seems increasingly focused on adding charges and selling services rather than providing transparent, affordable care. After 25+ years as a customer, that's disappointing. Pet owners should ask detailed questions and get all costs in writing before authorizing treatment. Sadly, it's probably time for us to find a new veterinarian.

They will neither prompt you or point it out to you that you have a choice, youll need to read and request it yourself. I found Alexis because of her awesome reviews and because it is so close to where I live. This place is great! My dog has been to a couple of groomers before we moved and I'd have to say that he has never looked, felt or smelled so good. My dog is most definitely not the easiest pooch to handle, I have been told by previous groomers he gets nippy, and does not like anything. And I always feel he is not wanted back. When I schedule my appointment I told them exactly what other groomers had told me and was recommended a "one on one" day so Rocky can get the extra attention and time needed to make his experience as easy and as stress free as possible. They sent me updates after his bath and blow out( informing me that everything went smoothly, and he needed to be towel dried to cut down blow dryer time because he was not a big fan of it) and gave me a 30 min heads up before he was finished. I really loved that they did that. When I pick my little rocky up he was a totally different dog, he went in with lots of matting and came out looking like a million bucks! And on top of that he came out HAPPY not stressed not anxious but happy! I have a very timid dog who is scared of everyone and everything. Christina was able to give him the full spa doggy treatment and I swear he came out of his shell. I think the fact that she does not kennel the dogs and the space is open and airy helped a great deal. I will continue to bring im there and refer all my friends and family. I love taking my dogs to Christina I have a Toy breed that is a bitter and a wiggle worm. She is always able to clip his nails and make him smell great. She also found a dog for me to adopt as well.
