My pup always comes home smelling nice and clean ! Decided to bring my pup to Alexis based on her ratings and how close her shop is to our home. We have been so happy with her approach and care for our senior blind dog! Her and her brother have been the only ones able to trim his nails FULLY. Never a half finished job and our pup is always in a good mood when we pick him up. Not anxious or stressed at all. Would recommed her pet services to anyone! read more

I've been taking Gia to Alexis a few years now regularly and she does an awesome job on my mini poodle. She also treats her well. I know it because my Gia is always happy to go to her monthly beauty treatments. Alexis makes sure your animals are safe with her as well. We love PET GROOMING BY ALEXIS!! and I can bet you will too!! read more

Updating a year after my first review to say I still couldn't be happier! I asked for a schnauzer cut recently on my mutt, and they did the best job and made him look so fancy. I also now bring my two sensitive senior chihuahuas and they are at ease enough walking in here. My big dog scratchers on the door jumping to get in so I know he absolutely loves it there. read more

My American Bully always comes back smelling amazing after his appointments with the Pet Grooming by Alexis team. I like how easy it is to schedule appointments and communicate with the groomers via text message. They are also very affordable! We will continue to come back! read more

My babies have been going here since they were little boys. Alexis is the BEST by far groomer in San Diego! We book our appointments a year in advance because she is well sought after and I'm telling you AMAZING!!!! She is gentle and consistent with her cuts and listens to what we would like. She also looks out for our babies especially if she finds something of concern. I am truly grateful for her. For fur baby parents we want someone we can trust and that also takes good care of our fur babies when away from us. Alexis is trustworthy and awesome!!! Thank you!!! read more

Alexis is kind and did a great job with my hair-too-long doodle that desperately needed a cut. She cut him short because he needed it but he still looked good. read more

We took our Frenchie puppy here for some grooming, mostly his nails because I'm scared to cut them! They were very welcoming and excited to see our pup. He seemed to have a great time while he was there (we didn't go in, COVID). He also smelled so amazing after he came back to us! They also texted me to give me updates about time to pick him up, which was very helpful. read more

I've never owned a dog; my husband grew up with a dog but didn't handle grooming duties. We met Alexis before she stepped out on her own and we are thrilled we did! One thing that I love about Alexis' shop is that she uses all-natural products - nothing has chemicals. While she doesn't offer flea treatment, when our Malti-poo Monkey needed it, she was happy to apply whatever product we brought to her. Alexis is very considerate of your busy schedule too by sending a text reminder for appointments and will text you when she's ten minutes from finishing the grooming visit. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she's on Venmo! Most importantly, she loves the dogs - all of them - and treats ours as if it were hers. She's kind and friendly - no wonder she has a successful business. She's super busy - booked months in advance - so get in when you can! read more

I have enjoyed Alexis for my dog for 2 years. I loved how she treated my dog and how great my girl looked. I recently moved and Alexis helped me guide the new groomer to help my dog keep the same look. I can't recommend Alexis enough! She is so thoughtful and amazing! read more

Alexis is amazing! We've been using her for years. My dog hates water and baths. Sometimes she knows what's about to happen but she still gives Alexis a little tail wag. My dog always happy and looks great when we pick her up! read more

Alexis does an amazing job. I switched groomers because my Yorkie didn't like the groomer we were at. They would always complain about him biting, but I knew that he only would snip at someone that was being mean or forceful to him. We switched to Alexis and she had no problems with him. She is good with the dogs and does an awesome job with her work. I would recommend her to anyone, but she is booked up a lot, so schedule your appointments in advance. read more

I've brought my cat here a couple of times just for a mail clipping. She allows walk ins for cat nail trims so it's so convenient. She's so sweet and always takes her in right away. Very reasonably priced. read more

Hands down, the best in the business. We've been going to Alexis for years! We have two shih tzus and a pekingese/japanese chin mix and she is the only one we trust with them. We had a really bad experience with our last groomer (razor burns, rashes, etc.) But we NEVER have to worry about that with Alexis. She is so careful, detailed and experienced. Be sure to book way in advance because she is extremely busy, but so worth it. We are so grateful for all that she does for our babies. read more

Pet Grooming By Alexis - Short cuts for the hot summer ahead! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Spring Valley, California

Great grooming and even better, NOT stressful for the pups (Freddy, Gracie and Romeo). Really glad to find this place.

We just found our new pet groomer! After a bad experience at a "big box" groomer, I went to Yelp to find a new pet groomer for our Pom "Hatchi". Alexis did an awesome job returning our VERY overdue little hairball into a neatly trimmed (and now much cooler) ball of energy. She was great to work with, welcoming to our Pom and provided a safe, clean environment for our little guy. Great communication, great price and quick! (We even made our next appointment). read more

Can't really leave a review based off services just customer service, due to the fact we only communicated once. We texted to schedule an appointment, after receiving one text back asking what breed our puppy was and then we never got a response. Not sure if they were too busy to fit us in or didn't want to work with us. This was unprofessional in my opinion. read more

Great service! Alexis did a wonderful job grooming our poodle. Went in with my little guy, and she did an awesome job on the full groom.

Alexis is amazing with my pups, She is very responsive and does an amazing job grooming them.

Called Monday and Tuesday to make an appointment for Friday or Saturday. Didn't get a response for Monday's call and no response for Tuesday's call. Called Bonita Dog Grooming Wednesday and got a Friday afternoon appointment. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from this place. I wonder if she treats peoples animals this way. Will not be calling this place ever again. read more

Yes, I had to schedule waaaaay in advance, and afternoon/evening appts are hard to come by... BUT... Gals are very nice. My furbaby was happy. Price was reasonable. read more

The only reason I no longer use Alexis as my pet groomer is because I was spending ~1.5 hours on groom days driving my dogs (drop off, back home, pick up, back home). I opted for a place closer to home, though not better. Alexis is not only a skilled groomer, but she is particularly good at dealing with anxious and stressed out dogs as she did with my dog Crispy. She is very patient! Miss your grooming, Alexis, but not all the driving. read more

I have tried to contact this place so many times and have heard nothing back. They never answer their phones which is incredibly unprofessional. I can't find pricing anywhere, it's hard to find cat groomers and I just wanted to know what pricing looked like to see if I could make an appointment. Never had this hard of a time getting in contact with a business. read more

I think I found Alexis from Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed! She has been taking care of my two chihuahuas for almost a year. I make sure to book appointments in advance because she does get booked up. I think that's a good sign, though. Love the attention to detail and the feeling the staff care for the animaAnd the prices can't be beat, so we try to show our appreciation with a nice tip. read more

It was our first visit for my two golden retrievers. It went very well and they looked great.

Tried to book and was in no rush for the appointment but the person I was texting (presumably the groomer) was so rude via text that we decided to take our money elsewhere. You have to be particularly rude to convey attitude via text :) read more

Alexis is fabulous with my Schnauzer, Heidi! She has been taking care of her for almost 1 year now and I cannot explain how welcoming and accommodating she is. I was skeptical because we had a bad experience with a groomer in the past, but even with Heidi's skin condition she goes that extra mile and loves each pet as her own! I highly recommend Alexis to everyone with a fur-baby! Jenn G read more

I brought my German Shepherd in for a bath, deshedding, and nail trim. She's 2 years old and has never been to a groomer before. The wonderful ladies here took great care of her and Kylie was a little sad to leave her new pack! She smells great and it was a great experience overall. The prices are good, the amount of time spent was good (actually, it went quicker than I thought it would be!), and the place is well maintained. The two ladies I met today have big hearts, and you can see it in how they treat each dog. I'll definitely bring Kylie back. read more
