I had a great experience with the grooming service. The staff was friendly, professional, and took excellent care of my dog throughout the appointment. My dogs came back looking clean, well-groomed, and happy. They paid attention to the details and made sure everything was done exactly as requested. I have been taking my dog, Lucy, to Doggie Dos for several years now. Wendy is amazing and really cares about all the dogs there. She is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling Lucy, who is 13 years old. The staff at Doggie Dos does an excellent job with bathing and cutting her coat. I would definitely recommend this Doggie Dos if your dog likes a kennel free facility. To me, that is an extra plus because being put in a kennel stresses her out. Here she can mingle with other dogs if she wants or simply take a nap or look out the window. There are toys there for the dogs as well. read more

Went to Doggie Dos yesterday 2/16/26 to have my dog groomed and while I have taken my dog there before she never came back so unevenly cut. They did a terrible job. And they chose to shave my dog's beautiful plume of a tail. No one called to ask if they should shave my dogs tail. The last time I brought her to Doggie Dos they didn't shave her tail. It looks like a rat's tail. Not to mention, it took them 6 hours. Unacceptable. I will be sure to post on my Facebook page to never take your pet to be groomed at Doggie Dos unless you want your pet to look awful. Will never go back! read more

My Princess Sadie, loves coming here. She gets bathed and clipped and comes out not only looking great, but happy. She never fussed when I leave her here, which is unusual, because she is a Mama's girl and cries when I leave her. If you haven't tried Doggie Do, you should. It was easy to get an appointment. The staff was very accommodating with our senior citizen chihuahua who is also blind. I explained that roaming free might be disorienting for her and they were able to keep her separate and got her bath and nail trim done quickly. All the staff were very kind. I've been bringing my dog here for about a year now and Heather is amazing with him. She always treats him like he was her own. He gets a fantastic cut and grooming. But the real magic happened when my house flooded and I was going through a remodel and needed to keep my dog in a daycare while the construction crew was in and out. She offered to let (Ziggy) stay at the salon with her and he had a blast. 10/10 I recommend!! read more

I been wanting to post a review about doggie dos but I never got around to it until now. I found them randomly after looking online for a while and we have now been here a few times. Previously I had a bad experience with another groomer in SD who cut my dog multiple times and I was very wary of choosing another groomer since we were new to the area. They do such a great job. The staff is friendly and loving towards the pups. This is a photo right after her haircut. We can say we found the right groomer and will keep coming back. I also want to say they are always on time when they tell me you will get your dog back at a specific time and I have not had to wait multiple hours to get her back. read more

We brought our pack (four dogs) to Doggie Dos because they're bath-phobic and hate nail trims. I love that it's a place your dogs can play with other dogs and most (normal) dogs enjoy that. Unfortunately, my dogs aren't normal. Still...the staff all knew how to handle them so no incidents happen. We brought them in 1/day because they're all large and would have a pack mentality around other dogs. This staff understands dogs! They did a beautiful job with their baths and nails. Will definitely be back! The pricing for our dogs were reasonable, especially considering all that's included. We did the shampoo for skin conditions and de-shed treatment. The only downside is the lobby is tiny so only one client can go in at a time (likely ensures safety of the animals and owners) and the parking lot is tiny, too, which sucks when the mattress place next door has their box truck parked there. Fantastic people. Fantastic service. Oh! And you can pay via Venmo! read more

We are usually able to call a couple days before and get in if it's not the weekend. Otherwise you should probably call a couple weeks ahead. On the day of the appt you can drop your dog off between 7 and 10am. When we've dropped her off around 7 we can usually pick her up around noon. Later dropoffs and we've had to get her closer to close. They give you a call when they're done. Everyone working there has been very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

She no longer has the signature westie face, has random wisps of hair on her face that were left long, and blade marks thru her body instead of a steady taper from her body to her legs. When I brought up how I distraught, upset and disappointed I was by her taking it upon herself to cut my dog's hair so short, how amateur the job looked and how unrcognizable my baby girl is, she barely apologized, said that HAIR GROWS BACK, did not sound remorseful and argued with me about MATTS in her fur when it is known by myself and my friend who both combed her frequently before the service that were NO matts or matted fur present. Take a look at the photos and decide if this is something you want for your precious pet. I paid $90 with tip and was NOT offered a refund or any compensation.

Skippy had Dr Deo do an emergency surgery to remove stones and he and the staff at both locations provided excellent care and followup. Skppy is stable right now with Dr Munoz follow up care and provided him with the light therapy he is receiving. They even showed us how to give him fluids.

From the front desk to the assistants and nurses and doctors they all make you feel special and especially make my dog special. My dog actually wags her tail when we're going in there. I want to say that they give you a written estimate for the day's charges and you have the option to decide exactly what you want and don't want. they're not at all pushy. I highly recommend them.

If i could leave a 10/10 rating I would. I bring my french bulldog Chapo here and the moment we pull in the drive way he knows its time for fun and friends. He doesnt need grooming aside from once a month but does come for the daycare when needed. Heather and her team once again made us feel like home dropping him off today for his playdates. They have always been the upmost professional yet comforting when I leave him. I have never had any issues and I have been coming here almost a year now. Heather is the first face I see in the morning and it always starts my day off great, knowing my boys in the best hands. Even when I call to check on him through out the day (yes im a helicopter dog mom) she always reassures me that Chapo is loving his life and woooing the customers that come in and happen to see him. He always leaves happy and definatly smells good! I appreciate all the love my dog family gives at Doggie Do's and I will for sure keep coming here and always suggesting it to anyone who happens to be looking for daycare or grooming. What a wonderful place with such kind and friendly employees who obviously love what they do as the dogs there all seem SO happy to be there! I did a walk in today at noon after talking to Nora earlier and I thought I heard her incorrectly as she said the toenail trim would be free if I brought my Pug in between 12-3! Not only was that the case, but Frida, my little Pug who is only 12 pounds and 2 of us can't do her toenails at home, sat quietly for most of the pedicure while Nora held her and talked to her! I couldn't believe that was my Pug, lol! While I waited, I could see other dogs getting their spa treatments and they all seemed to enjoy it while the others ran around wagging their tails. I tried to leave her a big tip but she said not to worry and next time would be fine. Wow, where else does this ever happen these days? I always say i'm going to give a review after taking in Mush my baby and haven't so here we go! First off, the service I always receive from Heather and her team is amazing. She always is happy and loving to my Mush and takes care of my grooming and daycare needs when I need it! Mush gets lonely at home so the daycare is always needed a couple times a week along with his bath I get every couple weeks. He sure is fluffy but she handles it head on and always makes him coming out like a little cute puppy when hes done. Thank you Heather for always being so sweet and amazing when it comes to your job. And big shout out to the team because it takes a village! Doggie Dos baby! Ps the day is kennel free unless needed other wise the pups are able to do as they please all day! Doggie Dos on La Mesa Blvd is the ultimate grooming destination for our mini golden doodle, Zuzu! This was her fourth visit, and each time she is pampered by the talented Lexi, whom Zuzu loves. The staff is always accommodating, making sure that Zuzu's experience is personalized and comfortable. During her previous visits when she was not spayed, Doggie Dos went the extra mile to keep her separated from other dogs. The grooming results are always stunning, from the cute teddy bear cut to the shorter, cooler haircuts for the warm San Diego weather. On her latest visit, we went for a shorter cut with a teddy bear face, and once again, Zuzu looked fabulous. The staff is always friendly, and Zuzu is always happy to be there. I just got a new dog, who was anxious and has a high energy level and was scared to leave her home alone while i work. I found doggie dos and Heather was the first person I spoke to on the phone, she was amazing, reassuring and kind upon this first phone call. This eased my mind about bringing my pup to daycare there. When I got there I met her in person and she again reassured me and i kissed my Luna Moon goodbye and trusted in her. She went above my expectations when it came to her customer service and let me know my girl was loved by everyone and everydog and now my pup has something to look forward to while I dont have to worry! We have been taking Oakley to Doggie Do's at this location on La Mesa Blvd for over a year now and have had great experiences every time! Oakley even gets excited when he sees the groomers when we arrive so we know that he has a good experience. Oakley is a doodle so sometimes he visits for a bath and sometimes he gets shaved. The staff are very good about letting us know when he needs each and helping to keep Oakley clean and trimmed. Highly recommend their services for other pups! read more

Ever since I've been living in La Mesa, I have frequently taken my chocolate labrador named Oso to this establishment. From one dirty dog to a clean pup, the change in his mood is dramatic! Everyone here at this location is amazing! The girls are very professional and understand the wants and needs of us as customers. I have a Huskey and she's crazy- hence her name LOCA- but they groomed her with DE shedding. Smelt great and when your dog gets groomed, daycare is included! This place is awesome and feels homely! Harlow used to have really bad groomer anxiety but she is so comfortable here and they treat her like their own.
