I am so glad we found this business! I actually found it through google and started to fill out a form to get a consultation when I got busy with something else and just closed the page to do later. I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten back to it and just have lost the name of the business except that Nancy called me that same day to set up my appointment! She was very nice and friendly, but even better, accommodating! She came by to meet the cats and learn the layout etc. and ended up staying for a whole hour (I love to talk about my cats). I was very impressed by how professional and thorough she was. Honestly she could not have done a better job. We had her visit twice a day to give medicine to one of the cats which was a relief for us to have someone else do. Every day I got an email with a picture and update which I thought was unnecessary but actually really enjoyed and got to look forward to. I am so grateful to have found Nicole. Lately I've had to travel a lot for work, so finding someone who I feel comfortable watching out for my kitties when I am so far away is a huge relief. And I definitely feel comfortable with Nicole. When I first reached out to her, she came by to meet my kitties, and to talk to me about their needs. This is super important, because this gave me a chance to see that my cats were comfortable with her and that I was too. Since then, I've booked her three times for around 3-4 days each. When i get home, though my cats are happy to see me, they don't show any indication that they felt undue stress while I was away. Could not recommend more highly! We left our 3 cats and 1 dog at home while we went away for 15 nights - a very long trip that I was so nervous about as I've never been away from my babies that long. But from the initial meeting with Nicole, our minds were at ease. She is extremely professional and has a natural way with animals. We went with the overnight option, and every day I would get email updates with pictures and occasionally videos which I appreciated so much. She was always very quick to respond to questions via email or text. I had researched boarding services, and pet hotels when we first took home our kittens because my partner and I both travel fairly frequently for work and I wanted to be prepared. I had saved Furry People Pet Sitting's information after finding the consistent positive reviews and their professionally presented website. I have to say that my expectations were met and exceeded with Nicole's service provided. She took time out of her busy day to take my call, answer any questions I had and see if she had the availability to accommodate my babies. She got back to me promptly and even though at the time I contacted her my plans were not yet set in stone and I would possibly have to change my dates or cancel, she held a room for me and gave me the time and peace of mind to continue focusing on my job. When I dropped my kittens off I was given as much time as I needed with them and she had customized their room with everything two crazy little kittens full of energy could want. Again she verified their feeding schedules, habits, likes and dislikes and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care even though I am a humongous control freak and take leaving the two little lives I and my partner are responsible for in someone else's care very seriously. I wish I could give 100 stars. I cannot say enough good things about this company...they have truly made my life so much easier and for such reasonable prices. We have been using them for about a year with our cat and they are always so reliable and helpful. They even go above and beyond and help with things that they notice at the house that they aren't necessarily responsible for. We recently got a tortoise to add to our family and two days before going on a weeklong vacation he was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. I was so beyond stressed knowing we needed to inject a shot of antibiotics in him every 3 days when we wouldn't even be here. We called Nicole (who was already coming to check on our cat a few days) and she was BEYOND helpful. She was so incredibly accommodating and even did her own research, got advice from her vet on how to best administer his medication. She was so concerned about doing a great job and it really made me confident we were leaving our tortoise in great hands. My wife and I have a very difficult 20-year-old cat with chronic kidney disease that we administer sub-cutaneous fluids to on a daily basis.
