Now that I no longer live in my old place or in the area, I feel more comfortable writing this…read more Jeremy walked my dog for a few months after I moved to San Diego. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

Our 4 month old puppy, Atlas, had a rough start at life and I was so worried he would lose so much of his progress if we went away, but Mia stepped in and helped out so much with his training and care! He came back such a great walker with good habits and better manners with other pups and people. I met with Mia before deciding to do the board and train and she was so detailed and knowledgeable. It made me feel very comfortable with her and Atlas. We discussed in detail his current training, my goals, and concerns and worries I had, etc. She was very thorough and made sure to keep us updated on his progress while we were away. Could not recommend Mia more for any training or boarding your pup may need!! Next time we are out of town I know where he will be staying!

We ended up going out of town for 10 days and I was unsure who I could trust with our corgi as she is still a work in progress. We decided to board and train her with Mia. While our corgi will always be a unique challenge , I am now much more confident in how to work with her. Mias approach to training truly takes into account the dogs personality and also family dynamic. I'm thankful we found her . She is also available to help post training. No board in train will ever "fix" your dog so as new issues arrive in so thankful to have Mia as a resource to help me problem solve!

I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten back to it and just have lost the name of the business except that Nancy called me that same day to set up my appointment! She was very nice and friendly, but even better, accommodating! She came by to meet the cats and learn the layout etc. and ended up staying for a whole hour (I love to talk about my cats). I was very impressed by how professional and thorough she was. Honestly she could not have done a better job. We had her visit twice a day to give medicine to one of the cats which was a relief for us to have someone else do. Every day I got an email with a picture and update which I thought was unnecessary but actually really enjoyed and got to look forward to. She put in obvious extra effort to befriend the cats and I was impressed that she managed to get close even to our shy cat. This business is just a lifesaver! The prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of service they provide is just insane! They obviously love animals and know how to handle pretty much anything. They take down very thorough information so if anything comes up they can take care of it. I think our cats missed Nancy when she stopped coming. They will be happy to see her when we go out of town again. Your pets are in the best hands with Furry People Pet Sitting. I am so glad we found them and no longer have to worry about making friends come check our pets, etc. They also include mail, plant watering, and other services I had never even thought of as part of the visit. Well, it turns out, so is Nicole!! She made sure she knew everything needed for all 4 of my pets (two cats and two dogs) prior to me going on vacation. I was gone for 10 days, and she sent updates each time she visited along with pictures of all the pets. I opted for the twice a day for 45 minutes and it was worth every penny. I have never gone away and felt completely relaxed until now. After the first visit I was sold, she is my go-to person for pet sitting. She made sure all of them were well cared for and loved while I was away. She is wonderful at communication; payments can be made online and there is a super easy to use app that is used for everything. Now I will go on more vacations because I know my fur babies are in good hands! Thank you Nicole! Here are some of the pictures she sent (too cute)!

This is a comfort to moms and dads leaving their fur babies behind! My adorable cat Sadie is amazing to me, but not so much to strangers. However, Christine was able to work her magic to get Sadie engaged every day while we were on vacation. It is a huge relief to know that while we are gone, she isn't hiding and sleeping 24/7, sad and depressed. Sadie played with Christine, ate her wet food daily, and posed for photos to send to mom;-). Not only do I feel that Sadie was in great hands, but Christine went above and beyond to help with a few items around the house such as grabbing mail, cleaning up after Sadie's bulimic tendencies, and perhaps most importantly, feeding the outdoor cat "Blue" that we've semi-adopted in the last few months. And not only did we get daily photos and texts to update us on Sadie, we also got a few updates and photos on Blue, too! I love traveling but hate leaving Sadie.
