We been eating our butts off in Asheville and Bargello was yet another winner in town. The food and wine selection was great. The short rib pizza and fries were great. The Caeser salad was fab as well. The service was amazing to boot. Great location, great everything. And (cherry on top) Santa and Mrs. Claus were there tonight! #WINNING

My husband surprised me with reservations for our 16th wedding anniversary and I was SO impressed! We were greeted by the hostess and we were quite early for our reservation, but she got us in very quickly. Our server was fantastic. The food was beyond incredible. Some of the best we've ever had. But my favorite part was the elegance but not pretentious. It was so relaxed yet elevated. So great! We had an amazing experience and left full to the brim!

We stayed at Kipton for several nights over Christmas. We avoided the hotel restaurants and booked all James Beard ones. Ate breakfast here this morning before we drove back to ATL. Holy crap was it great! Spinach omelet with feta and caramelized onions!

Bargello was highly recommended and it did not disappoint!! Also, love the atmosphere. Located inside the Kimpton Hotel it has same chic trendy vibe that is downtown Asheville. The pizza was a delicious as we were told it was. It is a limited menu, but definitely worth indulging in one of the delicious choices. The service was spot on!

Bargello is located inside the Arras Hotel on the first floor. The restaurant got its name from the tapestries and upholstery that use Florentine needlepoint. The layout is really nice as it is an open concept and an open kitchen. I got the best table with a full view of the kitchen. The tall ceilings and all the windows let in a lot of natural light. They did a good job of spacing the tables out so it didn't get too loud. Matthew was my server and very friendly and made this a memorable meal. The menu has a Mediterranean flair to it. I started with the Grilled Spanish Octopus. I wasn't quite sure about the octopus as I had never had it before. But Bargello cooked it well and brought other flavors to compliment it. Then I had the bucatini cacio e pepe. Bargello makes the pasta in house. Originally I had planned to try a pizza as they have the hearth oven but I already had pizza that day so pasta it was. I liked that there was some space between the appetizer and the entree and that the entree didn't come out until I was finished with the appetizer. Even with the nice gap in between courses it was a lot of pasta so I left with some for another meal. I finished with the house made S'mores ice cream as I did need something sweet. They also had a cantaloupe sorbet that was tempting too but the chocolate won out that night. I will definitely dine at Bargello again.

Terrific little joint in the lobby of the Kimpton Arras. Mediterranean/Italian fare in an upscale space with an open kitchen and laidback Asheville vibes. Pizza was a high-end artisan/brick oven type of deal and really hit the spot. The Salmon Benny was a 10/10 elite brunch plate. Great service too! Highly recommended.

Located inside the old BB&T building, cute interior on first floor. Went at 6:00 on a Saturday night and we were one of three tables. As we were there for a while, it started to get busier. Went during restaurant week. Food was really good. Plan to go back and try the regular menu another time. There is a parking deck with AC Hotel across the street that is very convenient.

We came for a 7 pm reservation on a Saturday and it wasn't really busy. We enjoyed salmon salad, margherita pizza., broccolini, grits and salmon salad. Grits were really yummy and everything else was fine. Pasta is homemade. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine. Server was friendly. Interior was bright.

The food here was actually quite delicious but the service ruined our experience. Our server, I believe his name was Matt, started off on a good foot- he seemed nice. But as our dinner went on, we realized he was trying to rope in some girl who was dining at the same time as us. He did not come around for ridiculous periods of time- we had empty drinks and water glasses most of our dinner. And SHOCKER, everytime I look to see where this guy is- he's taking to this girl instead of working. It was just crazy unprofessional. We didn't bring it up to managment as we just wanted to get out of there and it didn't seem like anyone cared to be working there. Food was surprisingly tasty, esp the octopus and the pasta with zucchini noddles. But I wouldn't go back to this place because of the horrible service. It wasn't a cheap meal by any means and we didn't appreciate the lack of service we received.

As guests at Kimpton hotel Arras, our party of 4 had breakfast vouchers worth about $76. We used it for a leisurely monday morning breakfast before departing from Asheville. Asheville has so many great breakfast places to choose from so my expectations here were on the lower side, but i was pleasantly surprised. Our voucher availed us 4 dishes and 4 coffees. I could substitute side of potatoes with fresh fruits and the cappuccino was excellent. Friendly service was a cherry on top. I would like to try their dinner menu next time.

Dropped by for dinner. Had the Moroccan Carrot Salad and the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe. Service, atmosphere and food, summed up in one word: Exquisite. I'll be back.

My husband & I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day. The food was good. We enjoy visiting new places & trying different foods & flavor. This was a new experience for us. We got in around 8 and we got the 4 course valentine dinner. The food is different but, very good. We went here on Valentine's Day for breakfast & dinner. We will definitely return.

Had dinner here twice in August. I truly believe this is the best food in Asheville and the service is amazing. Dining outside is the best.

Our server was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. I started with a cup of hot coffee but was quickly convinced to follow it up with a glass of red wine. I had to order the bolognese after recommendation from the server and it was fantastic. The pasta was al dente and the red sauce was tasty. I also tried the seasonal soup - the butternut squash, which was hearty and perfect on such a cold day. The egg salad sandwich was STACKED and topped with smoked salmon. I tracked them down at AB tech (schedule online). The truck may be small but it's mighty. And might cute. They offer a variety of middle eastern food- not a lot of options but in my opinion when a place has a speciality, they tend to do it better. And this place does it best. I opted for a falafel wrap and it might have been the best one I've ever had. The falafel and tahini was perfectly seasoned. The bread was some of the fluffiest bread ever. Perfect amount inside and in total. I'm not a fry girl but I'd make an exception for these folks. The price is very fair for some incredible plant based, delicious, homemade food. A win for us vegetarians (and those who just enjoy good food). Next time I'll remind myself to opt for no pickles- my mistake haha. Point is, there will def be a next time. Yum.
