Bowls, salad or wraps are the name of the game here. Think chipotle, but Mediterranean style. They have some portion issues between lettuce and veggie toppings, but that's me being nit picky. The service is slightly lacking, maybe we caught the crew on a bad day. But it was dead silent and we barely received responses from the team as we ordered our bowls. The out door seating was nice, they have umbrellas for the rain or harsh summer sun. We enjoyed the vibe out there. read more

visited twice and both times the dining area had food on both the tables and floor. The place looks dirty.

Not a good experience. I ordered a falafel bowl, but it didn't come with any falafel. They gave me a free bowl reward, so I decided to use it and give them another try. Again, I ordered the falafel bowl, and this time it came with 2 falafel; that's it. It tasted great, but paying that much for that little is disappointing: 2 stars. read more

Cute location, well organized, good options. The staff is helpful and well mannered. They are also 35% more expensive than the competition, while only being slightly tastier. Also, I'm sure it was just me, but some of their tiny black beans were a little undercooked and I nearly cracked my tooth. Also, $12 for 2 scoops of rice is diabolical. read more

Low end service and not really that much of a hookup. The food is mediocre asf and the managers are very rude to you when you ask for the pita that comes with the meal. They otherwise just don't give it to you, probably because they're losing money read more

Really enjoyed my "Spicy Greens Bowl" which came with "Falafel, Crazy Feta®, Red Pepper Hummus, Fiery Broccoli, Cucumber, Lentil, Greens, Skhug, and Harissa Vinaigrette." It was highly customizable and was top-notch overall. I like harissa but switched it out for the garlic sauce, which was delish. Don't miss the skhug, which is a vibrant green sauce made from jalapeño, cilantro and several shakes of happy magic. I could drink this beautiful concoction straight up. One miss was the falafel. I've loved falafel for years and this, to be blunt, wasn't it. The texture/crunch, the flavor, the ingredients and appearance - all were wrong. Not enough to ruin my very tasty bowl but still, just dead wrong. It's a great building with an airy, welcoming vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. The staff were awesome. The location is good geographically but not great for ins from, and outs to, ever-busy Biltmore Ave./Hendersonville Rd. CAVA is a welcome addition to our restaurant lineup. Check 'em out :) read more

Some of the worst quality food I've ever been served! Was for a to go order and the icing on the cake? There was a booger squished on the lid of my to go order. General manager had dead eyes giving me a refund and actually shorted me 2$ which I had to return for. If my main course is garbage and I say I want my order refunded don't be cheeky and keep 2$ for the pita chips I also returned. read more

I have to say I have been here before and normally it's awesome but today I came and got a bowl with lentils. the lentils were so hard and undercooked it ruined my whole bowl it's just so sad cause it's not like i can pick it out or anything. frustrating read more

I am just so baffled that out of all the times I have ordered from this Cava, I don't think I have ever received every item I paid for?

The food prep area was clean, and service was great. My bowl was amazing but the reason I am taking a star off is because you could taste a little chemical taste in the garlic sauce, but other than that it was great! read more

Our First time to Cava! We went to the Swannanoa River rd location for take out. 2 Staff members were friendly, so helpful and walked us through the process! The food looked fresh and yummy! We got a bowl w chicken, rice, roasted vegetables, corn, salsa with the feta sauce, tzatziki sauce, and garlic sauce.. flavors were amazing!! We will be back and thanks for the amazing staff!! read more

Ordered online with set pickup time. Happened to arrive 20 minutes early, only to find that my order was already on the pickup rack. After leaving I found that it was already cold, so it must have been prepped 30+ minutes before the scheduled time. This was before noon and the place was not busy at all, so no excuse for this. I'm not likely to return. read more

You can't beat these flavors. I really enjoy the combos I can make by building my own bowl. It's one of those places where it's work it to pay for since to do this all yourself to have these combos would be wild. The proteins, the dips, the sauces, they all mingle together in such a wonderful way that you get a pack of what you want. Or you can also pick one of their premade bowls. The staff has been super patient. The first few times I went in as I was getting the hang of what was available. And I'm not a big drink person, but they're homemade lemonades and drinks are phenomenal. Not too sweet and taste delicious. I'd like the ability to mix them together and put a little bit of soda water on top. Mixed my own drinks too. :D I'll definitely keep coming back here perfect spot for a quick lunch with coworkers or by yourself. read more

The food was fresh and fast. The drinks were unique not just the regular Coke of Pepsi products.

Just think of Mediterranean Chipotle. Greek salads, lots of different chicken combination bowls. Lots of options. Food was delicious! You pick a meal they have options to add or keep off. I loved it! Its better than Chipotle dare I say. I love Mediterranean over Mexian lol. The juices are delicious try one of their specialties comparable to Panera juices but way better (juice makes a great mixer for an adult beverage later ::wink:: wink::). read more

I hate when people go to a restaurant opening week expecting everything to be amazing from the get go. I went yes they were out of some things. Yes, I was sad to not get falafel but it didn't ruin the meal. Everything tasted great and the service was standard fast casual service. It takes a few months to work out the kinks. For opening week I think they are doing great. The space is minimalist with big windows and a ton of shelves for pick up orders. I'm super excited to have a new addition to my take out rotation. I had the honey harissa chicken with a scoop of harissa, lentils, greens, hummus and all the toppings my heart desired. It was fresh, spicy, and delicious. My partner had the Greek salad and he was happy with it. read more

CAVA - Build your own bowl and blueberry lavender drink. - Salad Near Me - Asheville, North Carolina

If I could give a review negative stars I would. From what I can tell from other reviews of this location, the employees here are severely lacking training. And after my experience today, the whole company lacks quality control. I ordered online here today. When I got my food home a rather large grasshopper jumped out of my bowl after I'd taken several bites. Gross. I don't how how that happens. I tried calling the store. No luck, there's no menu options in their automated answering recording. So I tried to see if I could call the corporate office. I couldn't even find a phone number for corporate. So I drove twenty minutes back to the store with my uneaten food and the live grasshopper. The "manager" working had no idea how to handle the situation. He didn't know how to give a refund. Couldn't open the safe. Tried to offer me money from the tip jar, and offered to make a new bowl. I told him I didn't want to eat from a place where I had just gotten a live bug in my food. He told me it was no big deal, it's just a bug, probably just jumped in from outside or something. So, if you enjoy eating grasshoppers, some people might, then this is a great place for you. If you want actual customer service and insect-free food, then I'd steer clear of this place. read more

the food was good and the staff friendly ! we will definitely be back! It's good to have Cava return to this area.

The food is amazing,l. My only complaints are that the almost $4 blondie was the size of a cracker and for an $18 bowl the portion was very small with very little meat. read more

The online guy is preparing a Togo order every 8 minutes. The cashier person is moving 9 per min. I will update you on the quality and quantity. Stay tuned... my order was to be ready at 1:pm. While I'm waiting I will explain the ambience. The music is loud. They customers are filling the restaurant. The tables are dirty. The floor is filthy. It's now 12 minutes after 1 to noon avail. 1:19 out the door. Portions were crap no plastic ware and overall horrible experience!! Sitting at a park looking at our cava and can't enjoy. read more

Everything needs improvement. Service, quality, quantity of food were all terrible. We went in at 9:15 pm from traveling over 3 hrs. We've had cava in plenty of locations but this was by far the worst we have ever had. When we ordered the bowls, the guy working filled it with dried up white rice and brown rice. I asked if they had any fresh rice and he stated he didn't have anymore. Then he added our chicken. When we went to the toppings, 50 or 60% of the toppings were gone. Only the cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes were left. When we tasted the food, it was so dried up. If a restaurant doesn't have the means to provide quality food, close the doors and close the stores. We made a big mistake coming here. read more

This Cava is so filthy. There's food everywhere. The floors are dirty. The counters need wiping down, food containers need cleaning and refilling. It is so dirty. I hope I don't get food poisoning. The drink cooler is warm. The soda machine is filthy and not all the flavors are working. The women's bathroom is flooded. Seriously, pray we don't get food poisoning. I don't know why I even ate my food. Someone should report them. read more

I just got done trying out this new Cava and I give it a 10 out of 10! I know Cava has great food but was very impressed with their service as well. The manager Koke is top notch. I'm glad I tried this spot out, I highly recommend it, and will be back. read more

Good healthy food. The register staff was friendly. They recommended me some of the items to try which did not disappoint.

Cava in Biltmore Village offers fast service with fresh ingredients. The staff, despite the often long lines, remains friendly. The wait is worth it as it moves fast. The prices are reasonable for the generous portions. Highly recommend! read more

Enjoyed their fresh bowls. Get what you want on it. Eat there or take out. Outdoor seating available.

My daughter kept telling me she was excited because it was opening in Asheville and as soon as it opened we ran to go try it. I am sad to say I was shocked at how dirty the bar looked. The people working were very sloppy and made a mess of the bar so everything looked unappetizing and not hygienic. We were in a rush and had no time to go somewhere else so we decided to stay and try the food. The food tasted good, and I am sure if it hadn't been because I was a bit grossed out by the looks of it I would've enjoyed it much more. I hope they can do something about this and keep it clean. The place has potential. read more

Replaced Zoe's and has a similar menu. Kind of operates like a Mediterranean Subway - walkup and choose items for a bowl or salad meal. Greens and grains are fresh and the addons are varied and tasty. The falafel is especially good. In/out seating works but somehow the atmosphere is kind of uninspiring - too many 4 tops when so many customers are in ones and twos. Also the desserts are really lacking - way too expensive for pretty poor quality. Miss Zoe's cookies! But..still a good place for a very nice quick and fairly healthy meal. read more

Read the reviews before we visited today for lunchThere is plenty of seating outside as well as inside. It was clean. The people behind the counter were friendly and nice but sloppy. I agree with the previous reviews. My first time there and I had questions, the 2 people wanting on us behind the line assumed we knew what we wanted and were agitated because we were asking what meat was what. Maybe ladles or something could help. The lettuce options were so so nice, fresh, crisp, and clean. Overall, my bowl was $14!!! It was sloppy and all over the bowl and on the rim and sides. There wasn't a lot so I felt like with 2 meats, rice, lettuce, 3 sauces (hummus etc.) And tomatoes and corn- I felt like that was over priced. Lamb, avocados both are upcharges. The signs are so small you have to bend down to read them on the glass. Overall 4 because it was fresh and the flavor was great! I will be back. The cucumber mint drink was refreshing and hit the spot. read more

Cava is a great spot to grab a quick and easy lunch! The menu has a variety of healthy options! I love the greek salad bowl with grilled chicken. It is very tasty but did not completely fill me up by itself. The location is nice, convenient to everything but the parking lot is tiny and it is oftentimes hard to find a spot right next to the restaurant. The service is prompt and easy. read more

Wow! 15 minute wait for a marginal rice bowl. On top of it... $16. You've got to be kidding! 100% not worth it, obnoxiously over priced.

New place to grab a fresh treat. Food was great. Super fresh. Gotta try the falafel and sweet potatoes. Dont miss this one.

Franchise, sure... But it is not McDonald's... Or it's neighbor, Wendy's! It's like the Mediterranean of Chipotle. In 2 months, we have been there 6 times. I'd, in the least douche way possible, call myself a bit of a foodie and it's freakin cheap!.. or maybe I'd call it affordable. read more
