Amazing authentic Vietnamese food!! I was happy to find authentic Vietnamese food while passing…read morethrough Albuquerque from out of state. The food was delicious and the menu had a lot of variety. -Food- The Pho was great. Broken rice plates are my go-to at Vietnamese restaurants and the one here was yummy! Only complaint was that the egg pie was not warm through out. But this was not a problem for me since I don't like egg pie and I wasn't going to eat it all anyways. I also got a soy milk and to my surprise it was fresh and kind of green! Vietnamese soy milk tastes different than the soy milk you'd get at the supermarket. I loved drinking soy milk in Vietnam. Often I see Vietnamese places give canned Vietnamese soy milk, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was fresh. -Service- Our server was very helpful, kind, and happy. It looked like it was only him that day. They don't have much staff here. The server checked up on us a few times to make sure that the food was to our liking. Great service! -Ambiance- There is a parking lot. The AC was a nice temperature especially since I came on a hot day. The restaurant looked really empty since there were only two other tables taken for dinner that day on a weekend. This made me a bit sad since the food was good and they deserve more guest. But they only had one server anyways since there isn't much staff.

This was only my second time here. My partner & I are in town for the Balloon Fiesta and wanted…read moresomething to eat. Since I was familiar with the restaurant, we came here. It's a different location, but the food was just as good. We were greeted when we walked in an opted to sit outside. It was a little breezy, but felt good. I was feeling a salad so I ordered the BLT chopped salad with additional fried chicken. You can't go wrong with bacon! AND, the answer to avocado is always yes! It came with a champagne vinaigrette, which didn't really seem like enough, so I ordered a side of ranch. My partner didn't eat the pinon that came with her meal, so I threw those on my salad as well. My partner ordered the Pesto Pasta with grilled chicken. She also got a side of the sauteed balsamic mushroom. Whoa! Those mushrooms were delicious! For drinks she ordered the bourbon mule, and I got my typical IPA. The meal and drinks hit the spot. I can always count on Tula's to quench my thirst and fuel my appetite. The host and server were very polite. The place wasn't packed, so the ambiance was chill. On the way out we noticed they have a nice fire pit in the corner where you could chill, have a drink, and maybe some appetizers. It was a nice meal.

They do have a very nice patio but I was eating inside in lieu of out in the 95 degree heat and flies. I mentioned it to my very sweet server and she got me a battery fan to put on my table to shoo flies! (See pic) I ordered their wonderful Reuben w Caesar side and ate it with the fan shooing the flies while I ate inside. Seriously!! I did let her know the homemade croutons were stale and tough and not very edible. Service, food and drinks here are always very good and polite. I'll be back but not when the outside summer flies are taking over.

Very nice. Modern and elegant insides. Has a more modern take on Japanese style…read more The guy that helped us (seemed to be the owner and chef) was quick and very helpful. But it was surprisingly dead for it being lunch time. Food was great. Good decent selection. Little suggestion to the menu I would tell the owner is that it was hard to read some parts of the menu cause the picture was imposed with the wording of the menu. Drink cups were large. Just the way I like them. Other places give tiny cups and I have to keep asking for refills. However...We did ask for water and the way the tap water tastes in Albuquerque. I would recommend a type of RO system to remove the taste as it can sometimes . Food was great but I can't feel that something was missing from the bento. The plate was nice and big. However as seen in the pics the compartment with the orange. It's 3 x bigger than the orange and nothing else. It's empty. Suggest putting something in there. Some shredded cabbage or something to make it not so empty so the plate looks like it is big and fulfilling. Otherwise come highly recommended

We ordered the seafood salad, the hearty roll, the chicken udon noodles and ginger tea to split between the three of us. The ginger tea was amazing. Spicy and warming and such a great way to start the meal. The salad came out, and wow! So full of fresh fish, avocado and masago. So pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The roll was cute, in little hearts and was good, and the noodles were alright. Will definitely be back for the tea and salad!! The waiter was super nice and attentive. When we came in we were the only ones in there, but two other groups showed up mid meal, but service stayed great.

Last Friday, I came in to eat with my girlfriend on our date night and was amazed at how much hadn't changed with the decor and interior, in a good way! It was exactly like I remembered it, fish tank and all, and I was very nostalgic from the get go. We wanted to get the app sampler but it didn't have the option to come with onion rings so we ordered the Spinach dip and the Onion Rings on their own. Both were fantastic choices! Very flavorful and great texture for both! We also ordered the Presidente Sangria and their most popular drink, the Painkiller. The presidente tasted more like strawberry lemonade with a slight alcohol aftertaste, so expect it to be very sweet. The painkiller was great for me, but I can see it being a very strong drink to a lot of people, it was for my girlfriend and she was fine with one or two sips max. For dinner she ordered the beer battered Fish and Shrimp platter and asked for Fries and coleslaw as her sides. She absolutely loved it, and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauces were absolutely delicious. She said it was the Best coleslaw she's ever had and wants it to be a permanent choice for her side when we come back. I ordered the New Orleans Pasta and was also very happy with my choice! Where Her food was bright, citrusy and full of texture, my dish was smoky, deep and rich as a good pasta dish should be. The sausages and shrimp were great and the chicken was a little on the dry side but I will say it made up for it in flavor. Everything totaled to just below $75, which is a great price point for us after getting two appetizers, two entrees and two cocktails. We took the leftovers home and enjoyed it even more the next day. Our server was great too, I didn't catch his name but he was attentive and always relayed any delays from the kitchen and kept us updated on anything if we were still waiting. Top tier service and food, we can't wait to come back!

We were pleasantly surprised to find Tula's! The atmosphere felt like a nice mix between a bistro and a bar with more of an adult vibe. There were families with children, but the crowd was definitely more adults, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. We were seated right away, and our order was taken pretty quickly. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, and since the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, everything moved along smoothly. Our food came out promptly and was really good. Was it a huge "WOW!" or an unforgettable meal? Not necessarily. But it was a solid experience, and definitely a place we would visit again if we're back in the area. Overall, a nice find during our mother-daughter trip! Sometimes it's the unexpected places that make for a good travel memory.

Host and wait staff were friendly and professional. I do wish we received at least two each of the very small bread morsels. They were delicious but very small - one each is definitely not enough. That said, I was actually in the mood for something light. The homemade chicken salad was delicious. My friend ordered flat iron steak made with (or course) green chile.
