Pottery (10% off) and ristras (20% off) also made in Mexico. This place always has other unique gifts too... "tortilla" coasters. LED chili pepper lights. Blue Q coin purses. Plants - including the variegated string of pearls of which I may soon be convicted of botanical homicide. It's not looking good and I am incredibly sad about that. The store has a pretty wide selection of better-quality furniture at reasonable prices. They don't have any schlocky merchandise here, but you might be surprised at some of the values you'll find. Definitely worth checking TEMA for items you need before making a purchase at a store that features lower quality items at lower prices - again, you might be surprised that you can find a solid item from a quality brand at similar pricing at TEMA. (That's generally been our experience.) Robert took all the time we needed over our visits, making us feel like we were in the company of a friendly and caring relative who happened to be a brilliant interior designer. David in the back office was happy to answer questions and to make sure everything went smoothly with what is a pretty substantial purchase that we hope will last us the rest of our lives. The result is that we are about to have (not everything is delivered yet) a room that looks better than we ever thought possible - thanks, gents! It is now September and we have heard nothing... no status updates. I called a week ago and spoke to a "manager", Samantha, who told us she would look into our order and call with an update by the end of the week. We never received a call. Today, Saturday, I called and was transferred to David who "is in charge today". David informed me that Palliser informed them THIS morning, Saturday, that it is unlikely that they "would ever see the sofa". It is implausible that Tema found out this morning as clearly Samantha knew this last week but didn't want to have that conversation. The situation with Palliser is well known as it is in the news, online and apparently other furniture stores in ABQ. knew about this. Frankly, I am totally shocked that Tema, who we thought was a reputable company has acted in this way. They've held onto a considerable sum of my funds without having the decency to contact me directly. When the chair and ottoman were canceled, I found excellent customer service at Arizona Leather. Tema has lost a customer. There is no excuse for this low level of service combined with a clear lie.
