Their staff always answers the phone on my behalf when I am not here to take the call, which tremendously helps to capture missed sales calls and service calls. Their team is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with! Also, I help insurance agents that I train on a monthly basis, and the usage of the conference rooms are a must have for my commitments. And if my agents and I double up on appointments, we can spill over to an available office and conduct appointments simultaneously. We wound up working there for most of our time here and really enjoyed it. We tried both the Nob Hill and Central locations, and ended up liking the Nob Hill location more. As of April 2021, the Central location is definitely having some interior work done and feels a little pieced together. That's why we ended up sticking with Nob Hill. Nob Hill was clean and quiet and provided us with everything we needed to get our work done. There's also great parking right out front. The Nob Hill area was really cool, and the nice side walks provided for awesome lunchtime walks. It's also close to some great coffee shops and restaurants for an afternoon break. Many of those working there focus on altruistic endeavors. The CCO Lisa is great. She's very understanding and affable. She wants you to feel comfortable there. The space is clean. The working desks are roomy; there's a nice variety of desks, lounge areas, and private rooms. The ground floor maintains the essence of the old library structure at the original Albuquerque High School with high ceilings. Most of the buildings there are residential. Because this was an old school, there's a lovely courtyard to take breaks or work. The basement level is more cozy and modern and brightly lit. Perfect for an artist like me. Hopefully, there's a spot where you can spread out more if you have an easel. I love the vast open space and being around others, though I enjoyed the times when no one was there. Overall, FatPipe is on the quieter side. Everyone keeps their phones silent mode. Of course, you will hear collaborating and Zoom calls, but it's not loud. The carpeting helps with that. They have a weekly yoga session to start your day and 1 Million Cups. Lisa brings speakers in regularly. As an artist, I love that FatPipe is open 24/7 for monthly members and beyond.

I can see that it is a work in progress and believe it is going to be an extremely great place for those who need space. they provide private offices for rent, big rooms for classes or lectures, and small meeting rooms. I already have an idea how I can utilize the space. There are some fantastic features from when the place was built over a 100 years ago. Let's See this place grow.

Don't assume just because it makes perfect sense to you, that the other 99% of us dense folks will know exactly what you meant. And, no, this business has absolutely nothing to do with fowl of any kind that I can discern. It is actually a great Co-Working Space. I stopped in to Free Range for an event that was happening there. While I was there, I asked to have a tour of the space. They were surprised, but very accommodating. I was surprised at how large a space it is and how many different options to work, collaborate and hold meetings of different sizes are available. Private office spaces. Conference rooms and large meeting rooms. Bright and airy spaces. Not cramped / swished together spaces that I have seen in some co-working spaces. If you are looking for an every-now-and-then space, or a more permanent "office" space, check out Free Range. Ask for a tour. They have plenty of parking . . . .and even a 2nd location in Nob Hill, if this location just west of the University doesn't work for you. Why did I only give them four stars? Well, because I haven't actually worked there . . .yet. But, when and if I need a co-working space, this will definitely be my go-to option.

I stopped by this morning with the intention of checking out the space for free during Tech Fiesta…read more Their Yelp hours say they open at 9AM...but when I arrived at 9:45 the door was locked! I tried calling the number listed on their page, but no answer. So that was disappointing. From what I could see through the window it looked like a nice area but I no actual produce. Haha. Perhaps they were closed due to the Tech Fiesta events, but there was no sign or notification of that anywhere. On top of not being open, the space was hard to get to. It is in the same building as A New Awakening, which is like a counseling center. So you have to walk through the counseling area and at the end of the hall is the entrance to The Produce Company. Parking is always annoying downtown, and this place is no exception. For the entire building there are 4 spaces in the alley that are reserved for customers. Otherwise, you gotta feed the meter. Considering that I would want to stay and work for a number of hours, paying to park is highly unappealing. So overall, in comparison to Convivium Coworking and Fat Pipe ABQ, this place cannot compete. It may be worth trying out if you live close and can walk/bike, and if they are actually open. Otherwise, I say skip it.

There is also a complete metal shop, welding area, 3d printing area, laser cutting with both an 80 and 135 watt cutter and 2 large format printers and a vinyl cutter. They also have an electronics lab, fabric arts room, stain glass and 4 station screen printer. With a large membership there are always people who are willing to help you learn and make. They are an all volunteer 501c(3) organization that has remained open to its members 24/7 despite the pandemic. Even through the pandemic they have continued to welcome new members and bring them in to a friendly, welcoming community. They are open to tours by appointment through info@quelab.net.
