Barefoot Pools resurfaced our pool, replaced the coping, and replaced our old concrete deck with limestone pavers. From our initial appointment with Chad to select products to the completion of the project, I could not ask for a better experience. We were provided with dates and information for the construction process, which were adhered to completely. Shawn and the entire crew, including Jaun, Zach and RJ, communicated with us every step of the way and were a pleasure to work with. The crew arrived as scheduled, were courteous, and careful with the existing landscape. Chad came out for the final inspection and spent time instructing us on the start up and maintenance of our new pool. I would highly recommend Barefoot Pools to any of my friends considering a remodel. read more

I searched for a great pool company to take over maintenance of my 1320 sq/ft pool. Barefoot Pools was the lowest quote, but thankfully top notch service. Carson has been excellent and goes above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a great looking pool all year round. Thank you Carson! read more

From start to finish the Barefoot Pools Team was communicative and timely when resurfacing my cool-deck. The process was clearly explained and each task was completed on-time. In addition, there were several fixes that were expertly repaired. Kudos on a job well done! read more

My husband has had a stroke and his balance isn't good. 1st time in the pool this year he said he couldn't get in again because he had a hard time going down the steps. Who installs railings?? I called Jose at Barefoot Pools and he said "Sure, we do that!" Railings were installed at both the pool and spa and they are just what we both needed! Thank you, Barefoot Pools, for being there when we needed you! read more

Sorry guys. First, your tech didn't have the tools to do what I had asked and then didn't even try to fix my heater. You can reply all you want but you basically took my fee and that's it. I felt scammed. I literally had to do the follow up and it was super lame. Still a cold pool and will wait to find someone who knows how to work with heaters. Lesson learned. read more

Anyone out there with a pool probably knows the struggle of trying to find a reliable pool service and that's why we couldn't be happier with the amazing team at Barefoot Pools! Finally our pool looks amazing year round!!! We don't even have to think about it, it's magic. Daniel and everyone else who's been out just do an amazing job, are consistent, professional, and totally on top of it. We have a massive Ash tree right next to our pool and of course the pool would become a disaster in the autumn months, but not this year! These guys just manage to keep everything in check, communicate well so we don't even have to think about it. Highly recommended Barefoot Pools!!! read more

This company is first rate. I spent the months it took to get a full 4 proposals together and Barefoot simply stood out. Sales (Brandon) was awesome and just simply great to work with...no weird call back pressures either while I was deciding. They're definitely not the cheapest, but they're the most confidence inspiring. They were, at the end of the day, right in the middle on pricing. I had old, what they called, bonded beam sides. The stucco was constantly out of the water because no tile line. This led to erosion of the material and a great place for black mold to cling to no matter the water chemistry. just a pain. Barefoot's conversion on this is awesome. Check the photos. The team is great. PM Shawn called me many evenings to review status and scheduling. We were really wanting the pool done my the holiday. It was. Just as predicted by the initial template schedule. Jeff and Zack are great too and really communicative. If I forgot someone, I'm so sorry. Met a lot of folks. The most amazing crew were the chaps laying down my new travertine deck. What skills! NOT do it yourself stuff. They use sand to level and they did a good job of helping me with some drainage issues! Not to be overlooked. The finished deck is nothing short of stunning, frankly. 5* review, and I'm quite thrilled with the final product, but not everything can be perfection. A few rough areas... I wish I would have known that the dust from the travertine would be impossible to get off of my painted stucco home. There's a whole wall I might have to repaint...but the paint Phoenix faded so it wouldn't match. So, I'll just live with it until it's time to do the whole house. But, I could have put up a sheet of plastic and avoided the issue (if specifically warned. I was warned about the dust in general and took some steps with other suggested preventions). I have dogs and twice they brought in deadly items they were chewing on. One was a snap off box cutting blade that was at least 4" long. How my dogs didn't really mess themselves up, I'll never know. But, they're fine. Also, I mentioned that the left over blue tile that was installed would look great on my fireplace and I'd add it later. The extra tile was here for a few days, then someone took it. I don't know ... coulda' been my landscapers I guess, but I think it's like a %99 chance it wasn't. The plastic 'jets' don't fit too well. They stick out and you can see the threads. This may be inevitable as equipment has changed over the last 20 years, I'm sure. Not a biggy. Finally, the plaster isn't quite as smooth as the last job. Some imperfections I might not have expected are visible .. but only at night with pool light illumination. Small quibles are unavoidable. All in all, I wouldn't ever hire another company. Their processes are well honed and boy do they stick to their schedule. read more

So I requested service for my pool filter and someone called me a few days later. The quote was for $150.00. I accepted that price and the scheduled day. Then the person on the phone tells me I need a credit card to charge the service. I said, "No, I don't do that". She responded with, "We can't schedule the service". I obviously said never-mind. I don't know this person from a can of paint. It could've been anyone on that phone. No business name on the caller-id. Who in this day and age gives out a credit card number over the phone to a person from an incoming call? read more

They did a great job. They came that day at took care of our pool filter needs. Thank you.

Hello Again I called Chad and told him I thought it was finally time to have my pool resurfaced since it was originally built in 1997. He remembered me from a previous job that they did which also included an estimate for a new pebble finish. I decided to wait on that since it was in pretty good shape. He sent me a new estimate that was almost twice the amount of the original estimate from 04/11/2020. The new estimate was almost exactly the same as the original estimate except the dollar amounts were changed. I could not believe my eyes! Yes, $7,026.25 more than the original estimate and what is really funny, that amount included an $800.00 return customer discount. New $14,664.75- Original $7,638.50= Difference $7,026.25. He did mention on the phone conversation that his original estimate was pre-covid. So, I found a company that came out and gave me an estimate for $8,600 and they did a fantastic job. It is beautiful!!!!!!! And, it comes with a warranty. $14,664.75- $8,600.00 =$6064.75 SAVINGS!!! For those of you that read this, get a few estimates before you pick a pool company to resurface your pool. The work that is done is all basically the same. Needless to say, I will no longer be using Barefoot Pools. You're getting too big for your britches! Thanks much, Gary read more

We chose Barefoot Pools to resurface our pool and replace the tile work. This can be a big, messy disruptive project and I wasn't looking forward to it! Barefoot Pools far exceeded our expectations! Sean was the project manager and he did a great job checking on the daily progress and, most importantly kept us updated. The different crews arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. Near the end, Jeff came out several times to review how best to maintain the finished project. Barefoot Pools did an outstanding job! I highly recommend them! Jack in Tempe read more

I contacted Barefoot about resurfacing my pool. Chad came out to my house as scheduled, walked me through the process, and followed up with a detailed quote and mock ups of what it would look like. After agreeing to move forward, I went to their showroom in Gilbert and picked out the materials. From there, the process went exactly as they described. I received a very detailed email outlining the next steps, and they were executed to perfection. Throughout the process I worked closely with Shawn and Jeff - They were fantastic. The finished product looks great and I would absolutely use their services again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get work or service done on their pool. read more

After spending a year and hundreds of dollars trying to "bandaid" our 26 year old equipment (twist off pump lid = worst nightmare), we worked with Barefoot to replace the entire setup. Jessica's responsiveness to our initial request spoke volumes to the way Barefoot operates - efficient, transparent and incredibly friendly. She helped us customize our setup to fit our budget and needs (we live next to a canal and get hit hard by monsoons, so we added a prefilter which allowed us to downsize the cartridge filter and save some $). A few days later, Juan arrived right on time to work miracles. I have no idea how he did it (especially in 115 degree heat), but four hours later the entire setup (included a busted concrete pad) was replaced and FLAWLESS. He took about 30 minutes to walk us through operating the system to make sure we can make the most out of the new setup. It's been a few weeks and we are still blown away by their professionalism and kindness. As first time (Millennial) homeowners, we like to repair issues ourselves. When it comes to pools, it's just not worth it. Customers for life. Tldr: Just call Barefoot. read more

Barefoot Pools just completed a thorough descaling of the tile, acid wash of the interior and several plumbing leak repairs and a major valve replacement in the equipment. They (he, Jared) was punctual, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The work was accomplished speedily, but not so fast as to reduce the quality. The price was quite reasonable and as predicted.- I will be using the again for pool repairs and upgrades read more

We highly recommend Barefoot Pools. We had a pool remodel with them several years ago and are still very happy with it. We also had them install a new pool light for us today and, once again, are very happy with them. Jeff was our technician and he was fantastic! He not only showed up on time, he was extremely professional, polite and highly skilled. He explained each step of the process and was able to complete the job quickly and properly. Good customer service is hard to find, excellent customer service is almost unheard of these days, but Barefoot Pools delivers! read more

We are beyond thrilled with how our Patio/Pool project turned out with Barefoot Pools. Shawn, Chad & Jorge made the process so efficient and seamless. I'd say it was one of the smoothest and coordinated teams we've dealt with on a home project, especially one of this size. Now we just need to freshen up the landscaping and we'll be complete. I don't even know where to start!!! Making the decision to resurface our pool was a big one, its not a cheap task, so we wanted to make sure we went with the right company. We got a few estimates from companies that we were referred to, but upon reading their contracts we just weren't comfortable. I saw a Barefoot Pools truck one morning and decided to look them up on google. Brandon, I believe he is the Manager, called me right back and set up an appointment, had the estimate before close of business that day. My husband called hm to go over the contract and we were comfortable signing right away. The entire process was actually enjoyable! Believe it or not! Went through the process with Brandon, up to picking the tiles (so many to choose from) and the surface material, he said we would be contacted by Shawn next with the schedule to move forward within two weeks and right on time we received the schedule! Shawn answered all my husbands questions and we proceeded forward again! Then Jeff contacted us, he introduced himself and said he would be in contact with us through the entire project and he was! I honestly can not say enough about these guys, all three of them went above and beyond what we expected. We even had to put calls into them after hours a couple times and they answered!!! Not only did hey answer, they went out of their way to help! When I say went out of their way.....I'm talking coming out to my house to turn my pump on after hours (because I couldn't figure it out myself, embarrassing) also fitting me into their already busy schedule, because again, my own inability, to use the pump correctly. From start to finish, Barefoot Pools has been impressive. The construction work was kept as neat as possible, they always cleaned up after themselves and all the crews were very polite anytime we asked questions. The ONLY thing I am bummed about is the fact that I can not hire them to service my pool every week, because I do not live within their service area! I guess we will have to move!!!! I would hire them to do another project in a heartbeat!!!! Thanks Jose for hiring such an amazing group of guys!! You got lucky with them!!! Thank you Brandon, Shawn and Jeff!!!! We love our beautifully finished pool and can not wait for the warm weather!! Oh yeah!! They gifted us a couple of really cool poolside towels too!! Love 'em! read more

Had Barefoot repaired the deck crack near the skimmer area of the pool. Pretty good quality work. They are pretty busy so I did have to wait for 3 weeks before the work started. They ended up not needing to do one of the items in our contract and deducted the cost from my final payment. Very honest company. I would use them again if needed. read more

Here's an update after completion of our project! Everything went smoothly once Brandon handed us off to Shawn and Jeff who coordinated the remodel. Their communication was very good and timely, and the completion of each phase of the project was on time or earlier than scheduled. Overall, Shawn did a great job in answering any questions we had along the way and he was very professional throughout the entire process. And when the remodel was 100% completed, Shawn sat down with me for an "orientation" to discuss water chemistry among many other things related to taking good care of the pool. I have to say that anytime I embark on a large project I am a bit nervous. When we were 1st purchasing my home the realtor had 2 bids done to resurface the pool but when I researched the companies I was not impressed by the reviewed. I jumped on yelp and after a a bit of research and came across Barefoot Pools. I have to admit that the number of positive remarks on Yelp defiantly helped feel confident to call. Chad came out and spent a solid hour talking to me about the pool, as I am a complete neophyte in this area. He walked through what my vision of the remodel would look like and in the end I was very excited. After a discussion with the wife we took a Saturday to visit the store and pick out the new tile and micro-pebble, my wife was very excited. The job went smoothly and every time I had a question or concern Chad responded to my emails/texts right away; absolutely top-notch customer service. In the end the pool is even more beautiful that I had envisioned. From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a better experience and to top it off the bid was more extensive and less expensive than the 2 done during the purchase of my home. I would recommend Barefoot pools to anyone thinking of remodeling their pool. read more

I have lived in the Valley for 20 years and have used several pool companies over that time for maintenance and repair. I can say in no uncertain terms my experience with Barefoot Pools has been the best of the bunch. My experience started with Jessica who responded within an hour to my voicemail message and had a quote in my inbox 30 minutes after I spoke with her (I needed a pump replacement). Jessica had Jared at my house two days later to install the new pump. Jared was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, showed up on time and stayed to answer all my questions. The work done on the pump was excellent and included painting the new piping and labeling all the new parts - small detail but makes a world of difference. The treatment and service provided by Jessica and Jared was top notch and differentiates Barefoot Pools from the competition. Great service and competitive pricing - great experience! read more

Submitted a service quote request via their website and received a detailed professional estimate within 2 hours. Received quotes from 2 other companies days later with only "ballpark" estimates. I will now be a Barefoot Pools customer for life. read more

Cannot say enough about the job Barefoot did on our patio renovation. We had a flagstone patio and Cool Decking surrounding our pool and both were in very rough shape. We hired Barefoot to rip up the flagstone and cover the entire patio/pool area with travertine. What an amazing job. The stone itself looks great but everything about the install went smoothly as well. José was great about communicating timelines, carefully explaining costs and often stopped by to gauge the progress. Work started on the day they said it would and took several days fewer than originally quoted. We would use Barefoot again in a heartbeat. read more

Not great at customer service. Had Barefoot come to set up an automation system on our pool (Pentair intel) within 6 months automation not working. Contacted them about possible repair-brushed me off to Pentair warranty. This all happened when they tried to tell me that a salt cell would not fit into my prefabricated piping. Well, it was installed just fine and I have even taken it out and cleaned it myself!! Just would like them to stand behind their work. read more
