But this is one of the best coffee spots I've been to in a _long_ while anywhere near NYC. Dropped by on a whim for a quick coffee while visiting friends not far from Syosset - and grabbed a (large) cornetto with pistacchio cream along with it. The staff are super kind and attentive - coffee was made fast, and brought directly to our table without us even asking. Ccappuccino was great, zero complaints. The cornetto was delicious - flaky, buttery pastry and excellent cream (not too sweet, meaning not overloaded with sugar). And the entire place is full of options of cakes, cornettos, cannoli and other delicacies to try. They also have lots of savory sandwiches to sample, we just weren't able to grab any as we were heading to a lunch elsewhere - otherwise we'd have definitely tried one, after that excellent breakfast. They even threw in a free cookie with sprinkles, because it was a bit broken apart and we were clearly admiring it / commenting on how tasty it looked. Place is clean, friendly, with plenty of room to sit down and relax - and even do some reading or work remotely (saw at least one guy typing away on his laptop). Basically a Starbucks but with serious upgrades in terms of quality of food, and of the decor. Will definitely see if there's any similar spots closer to where we live.

The French toast bites were delicious, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and having the Nutella on the side was amazing because it kept them from getting soggy. The bacon, egg, and cheese was absolute perfection, and you could tell the bagel was extremely fresh! My iced coffee tasted delicious, too. We will definitely be returning! ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

The bread at the bottom was a tiny bit soggy but honestly it's what I expect from gluten free bread and any suet if moisture. At least it didn't rudely come apart like some other gluten free sandwiches. The seasoned fries were a bit on the salty side; I would try the sweet potato fries next time. I have bought their frozen mozzarella sticks before; the flavor is perfect but unfortunately they fall apart a little too much. Anyway, the true gem of this bakery are it's baked goods. I highly recommend the loaves and muffins. So far, I've had the blueberry crumble, cinnamon crumb, corn, lemon poppy, and gingerbread loaves (the gingerbread is seasonal but they said they do special orders). None of the loaves missed even a bit. I really like the focaccia and the challah when they have it. The bakery itself has a nice cafe vibe. I enjoyed hanging out there.

I'm glad I don't live around here for two solid reasons.... (1) I'd gain my weight in baked goods,…read moreno doubt about it.... sooooo amazingly good; and (2) I'd be REALLY upset about Connemarra only being open one day per week. However, since I'm not from around here, it was with pure delight and joy that my daughter introduced me to this place. Just walking into their storefront, the lovely sweet fragrance of freshly baked items was ever so apparent. While they are quite a small bakery and bake in very small batches, what they produce is so delicious, I told my daughter and son-in-law this place turns out the BEST bakery items... and when I said best, I meant BEST IN THE COUNTRY. That's pretty high praise, I'd say. IN THE COUNTRY. Supposedly, this is an Amish bakery. An Amish bakery in the heart of Wantagh, Long Island, NY. I'm not sure what makes it Amish, and I didn't bother to ask the ladies who were there on the Saturday I went, but whatever that means, I loved what I ate. I bought one of their Amish sugar cookies, which was a very soft sugar cookie, almost cake-like in texture, but still very much a cookie, which then had a layer of perfectly prepared vanilla buttercream, and then a drizzle of chocolate ganache. This normally would not be something I'd buy or eat, but when I saw it in the display case, it was callin' my name, and I'm soooooooo glad it did. It was spectacular. Soft, fragrant, buttery, creamy, sweet but not overly, with just a hint of salt. Perfection. I also bought a pint of their banana cream pudding. Again, a tout from my son-in-law (we tend to like the same kinds of foods), and it was AMAAAAAZING. Yes, in my opinion, it easily surpasses Magnolia Bakery's claim to the best banana pudding. I ate the entire amount by myself. EASILY. What flavor !!!!!!!! I also bought some little lemon cake/cookie, a Lemon Blossom, I believe... not really sure how to describe it, but it had a lovely lemon flavor, and I ate it in one bite. Lastly, I bought a lemon blueberry scone, and that was excellent, too. They had a number of cupcake flavors that all looked great, but I don't typically buy cupcakes. There were a few other bakery items that I also didn't buy, but I can assure you that when I return to NY to visit family, I will request a return visit here. This was an amazing bakery with superlative baked items that are NOT to be missed !! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!

I called the store to see where my order was and no answer. When the food finally arrived it was cold and dry. I emailed the manager, MICHELLE but she had a very snobby attitude and told me to take it up with their delivery service, called Nash. I did, but Nash referred me back to the manager, so I forwarded the Nash email response to MICHELLE thinking she would intervene on my behalf with Nash, but to my surprise, she told me to "We MADE your food and are not responsible for the outside delivery courier's fees. " Basically, she told me to "F___ OFF". I will never order from that store again. Michelle's denial of responsibility is puzzling, since the experience when ordering take-out on the Bagel Market & Bistro makes no mention that the store uses a third party to deliver, and that the merchant is not responsible for timely deliveries. In fact, I found out after the fact from MICHELLE that they use Nash to deliver their products. This should be irrelevant, since Nash is their vendor of choice; it is not like I or anyone else chose or would choose Nash to deliver an order...I never heard of Nash. Anyway, MICHELLE gave me the contact info for Nash Customer Support, I emailed them asking for a refund because the order arrived 45 minutes late, it was cold and dry, but Nash wrote back that I had to settle the issue with the merchant. I then forwarded MICHELLE Nash's reply asking her to intervein, and below is her reply to me: From: info bmbistro.com info@bmbistro.com Sent: Thursday, July 30, 2026 7:23 PM To: Mike xxxxxxx.@xxxx.xxx Subject: Re: Your order from 110 Bagel Market & Bistro - REFUND REQUEST PLEASE As I've already explained, our store did not charge you the service or delivery fees and we also DO NOT COLLECT THEM FROM NASH, they receive those fees. Kindly, Michelle Sent from my iPhone There was no contact information on the receipt, counter to Michelle's claim, so Bagle Market &Bistro left me to fend for myself since neither Nash nor MICHELLE lifted a finger to help me get a refund. The delivery charges consisted of a $3 Service charge, a $6.10 Delivery fee, and a $10.73 Currier tip, which is just shy of $20; 1/5 of the bill went to paying for Bagel Market & Bistro's delivery service - which cannot deliver on time. Notice MICHELLE's last sentence in her comment to my review. Michelle wrote, "We have thousands of happy customers who I do my utmost to help, so, respectfully, F___ OFF, MIKE." Nice thing to say to customers. The sad thing is, I was a long-time loyal customer, but she did the bare minimum to help me - not even an email to Nash on my behalf after Nash referred me back to the merchant to resolve the issue.
