Nice to sit on the patio with a pup. We had a bev and Mediterranean app and it was really good. They should clean off the patio floor with a power washer though. There is so much thick black grime like a pathway leading from where the servers bring food on the concrete. Makes you think of the saying if the front door is dirty then you can assume the rest of the place is too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more

This place is...okay. It's between 3/4 stars but it's on the lower end of 3. Open till 10 most nights. Service has always been good here. Quite a bit of space available, during the spring/summer outdoor seating is available. Menu is hit or miss. Really surprising to see some Asian influenced dishes here like the pho. Honestly, I've never tried it here. One item that I really do enjoy is the Kimchi Rueben. Food options aren't great in the area which is pretty weird for a growing area near Eagle. read more

I have to give Dylan credit amazing server in a lot of fun. We had some strange cheese appetizer that I would've literally thousand pieces of if I could get away with it. My main course was fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I find myself eating a lot of the bread too. Lol please please please very great option for lunch. Affordable how are you my company? Enjoy the side salad with soup and I really had to tell you, you should order the nitro cold brew with cream if you need to wake yourself up. Again, compliments to the service, and the amazing layout of this restaurant I've been away from Boise for 15 years, in a very pleased to see some of the new additions as well as an eagle Cheers! Thanks again ! read more

First of all, 5 stars are a unicorn. That being said. I sat at the bar (alone on business) and the bar staff was spot on with service and friendly chat. I had the country fried steak special. I have never had a 1" thick steak batter fried but it came out pink in the center and tender. I am not a fan of cooked vegetables but the staff accommodated me by offing a green salad instead. Great job guys and gals! read more

This was my favorite restaurant I went to while visiting the Boise area. Situated on a pond and next to the Boise river, the shaded outdoor patio was the perfect place to enjoy a late lunch and and drink! I wasn't aware until we got there, but it's not just a restaurant, they are also a distillery and even make some of their liquors on site! All locations actually make liquor, each one just specializes in something different! Despite their specializations, they did have all of them available. In fact, the little drink book they give you when you arrive was probably about 15 to 20 pages long! Truly an impressive sight! I opted for the basil instinct, a gin based cocktail that was light and refreshing. Easily could've sipped on these all afternoon long. Aside from the extensive drink menu, they also had a small happy hour menu, mostly consisting of their satays and some smaller sides, and a decent sized food menu. Though not very lunchy, I had been eyeballing the pork chop since checking out the menu a week before. It was great and I would definitely order it again, though would probably save it for dinner next time. My dad ordered the burger with a side salad and then an order of happy hour fires for only $2.50, my California eyes could not believe it! The fries came out a little cooler than the rest of the food, but they were still flavorful and crispy. I didn't taste the burger, but my dad enjoyed it. Our server was extremely friendly and great to chat with. This place will be on the top of my list to eat at next time I'm in the area. read more

I have been a regular customer for 10 years for their food, friendly service, and house branded spirits. In my last visit, I ordered the trout entree which I've had a dozen times before but was disappointed this night with the lackluster presentation and the tablespoon of vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Without disturbing the plate, I asked the manager if the presentation and serving portions were appropriate to her. With the lack of concern and attention she had to the situation and the robotic responses I was receiving, I knew that I would likely not be returning in the future. There are many better choices at this price point to choose from. Gone downhill. read more

I went there for dinner today. I give them 3 stars. 1 for good service, 1 for getting the other 2 orders right, and 1 for having a good selection of beer. I'm holding back 2 stars. -1 because of inconsistency, my food was not consistent with my last visit, and -1 because my burger was way overcooked and dry, not the juicy, medium pink color of my last Bardenay burger, I also had to search for the lettuce. I'll go back one more time with hopes for a great burger experience. If they fail again, I'll never go back again. Get those youngins cookin right Bardenay. read more

While the food at Bardenay is adequate for pub food, the service at the bar is woefully inadequate. You wait and wait and wait to have a bartender acknowledge you and then take your order. The female bartenders are better than the apathetic male one. 30 minute wait after you order for food is inexcusable. Do better! read more

Service was great but the food missed the mark. I had the filet. The provided steak knife provided could not cut the steak rather it tore in large wide muscle strands much a chick pot roast. I suspect this was a chuck baseball steak marketed as a bacon wrap filet as it was listed on the menu. It was over done not the warm pink center requested and tough to chew. My wife's tenderloin pasta was equally as tough and not the consistency of tenderloin. I suspect this too is not tenderloin but a cheaper cut. We do not recommend wasting money on a meal here if you expect quality meal. read more

So we were put on a 1 hour wait for a table for our party of 8. It was raining out so the outdoor seating was not available. That being said there were many tables that were not being seated so I asked specifically why the table for 8 directly behind the host stand was not being seated, they said it was to not let the kitchen get backed up. Ok we left and went to a new to us restaurant and so happy we did. We now have a new favorite place for rib eye. read more

On a road trip through Idaho, I stopped by this place for dinner. I ordered the smoked trout spread, chips and pico de gallo, pear salad with grilled chicken, and linguine picatta. The best dish was the chips and pico. The pico was nice and fresh and the chips were nicely seasoned with a lemony powder. I also enjoyed the pear spinach salad with chicken. The other two items were not as good. The trout spread was very heavy due to the large amounts of cream cheese. The linguine lacked seasoning and ended up being bland. read more

We had an excellent dinner last evening, the food was perfect, the main person overseeing our orders was Charity (I hope spelling is correct) I can honestly say went above and beyond for our group, she checked with our group often for anything that was needed. I hope management is able to have all the patrons served the way our group was. The atmosphere was very lively, the evening we were there, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. I look forward to coming back again for dinner, thank you. read more

We made an order! Horrible service! We ordered mango habanero wings and they gave us PLAIN WINGS! they didn't even give me my fries with my burger! Ate there Tuesday for dinner. Had the pho. It was poorly executed. The broth should be a clear bone broth redolent of cinnamon and star anise. The sen lek noodles were properly cooked. Normally the noodles and broth are accompanied by thinly sliced white onions, and garnished with cilantro and scallions. The center piece of pho tai is thinly sliced ribeye... not... whatever that was. It was hacked up bits of some unidentified cut of beef. Lastly, on the side there should be: mint leaves, basil leaves, rau ram (sawtooth herb) leaves, sliced green chilies, and bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, and sriracha to mix for dipping to taste. I get when a chef offers a canonical dish like pho or bouillabaisse to show their skill and fidelity. I don't get why someone would do such a pale imitation. read more

This might be our new favorite spot in Eagle. We are new to the area and loved siting on the patio. Excited to come back and explore the rest of the menu. I'm sure it would be fun to catch a few games with friends too. The server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. read more

We had a large group of 21. The space was perfect for us. The service and our server were spot on. I enjoyed the Something Blue cocktail. Reasonably priced. The salmon addition to the spinach salad was a nice size and cooked perfectly. The candied walnuts were yummy. I liked the tall ceilings and the space was very fun. The outdoor seating would be fun for a smaller group. As well, I was impressed that our server was able to split our checks with no problem. This is a place I will add to my collection and remember to visit when I return to Boise. I didn't hear one complaint from our group. read more

I've been here twice for lunch. First time I had the Sea Bass Gnocchi and second time had the Panzanella Bruschetta Salad with a 4 oz Salmon fillet added. They were both amazing. The Salad was completely yummy and the Salmon was tender with a delicious crust. I don't love the noise level but it's worth it for the food. The server was kind and helpful although seemed a little preoccupied ( yes, with serving so many people) sometime when the weather is better (not so hot) I'd like to eat on the patio. read more

Bardenay is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. They have a variety of options to choose from on their menu, as well as an amazing outdoor seating area. The patio looks out on a pond and is super close to the Greenbelt. I have always had top notch service every time I eat here. My new favorite item is the chipotle marinated chicken sandwich on their focaccia bread. It had so much flavor and was delicious. I also think they have the best sweet potato fries in the valley but that may be up for debate. read more

We sat on the patio, it was very beautiful situated between the river and a pond with a waterfall, it has nice ambience. There are also warmers, flowers and patio lights to enhance the overall experience. The food options seemed endless, there are an overwhelming amount of options including a surprising amount of fish. The food is extremely well priced and delicious. We got the fettuccine with added ahi tuna and the salmon pasta special. Both were incredibly tasty and in good portion and price as mentioned above. The libations were very unique and tasty as well. Highly recommend. read more

Finally got the chance to try this place out. The last couple of times, we couldn't get seated due to Covid and the limited capacity rules. It was a lazy Sunday at 2 pm, with gorgeous weather so it wasn't packed but the outdoor patio looked busy. We sat the bar and it took a minute before we were greeted and eventually served but I thought that was because they were short-staffed. There was only one bartender on duty at the time. I ordered the salmon, it was tender and tasty. It must've been the sun-dried tomato butter! I would order it again and the portion was good enough to share. My husband ordered the fish tacos and he said they were crispy. We'll probably go back in summer to sit outside. read more

Great location - right off the green belt! Take yourself for a walk and then a nice drink or lunch! We got the hot buttery rum cocktail on a cold day which hit the spot. The ambiance, the nice selection of food choices, and service, were all great. It's a must when I visit family and friends in Idaho

I have eaten here multiple times and I am truly sorry I haven't written a review. Everything is fresh, delicious, and the service is outstanding. You can't go wrong here. Last time here I had a chicken stir fry salad. It was fresh, the chicken was done, and the service was incredible. Their sandwiches are great, the portions are perfect and you won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but overall it is fun. Stop by, you won't be disappointed. read more

Overall I'd definitely recommend here for the reasonable prices, variety of seat options, genuinely friendly staff, availability (First come first serve, no reservations, which has its pros & cons) & appreciate the full bar. My Chinese green salad was delicious (they helped me avoid gluten by removing wonton strips, & I was ok with incidental exposure in soy sauce dressing). I have just a string gluten intolerance, but I'd be pretty confident bringing my celiac uncle here too, as staff seemed genuinely astute in allergy recommendations (plus menu is nicely marked to help prep us allergy peeps for ordering!) I wouldn't necessarily recommend their coffee drinks or cheese boards... but I definitely recommend their Strawberry Manhattan (treated myself on New Years!) Yes it is loud & crowded & so service was a bit slow... but they are well staffed & everyone so friendly, we had no problem requesting misc help as needed on the extra busy holiday night. A wonderful new year treat! read more

I actually really like this location better than the one downtown. Good- great. Same menu as the other. Seating options (outdoors or in) also great (except for the typical water loving bugs that Idaho has). Food- fantastic as always. The servers need to know some key menu questions a little better but for being a really busy Friday night (and the current shortage of staff) they did their best. I got my usual (Gnocchi with Sea Bass), husband got a massive steak. No room for much else. Bring your appetite and people you like. read more

We were out of town spending time with family and we all met here. Ambiance was great, beautiful lake view, lush green grass and trees were gorgeous. The greeter was bubbly and very helpful for seating. Our waitress had a beautiful smile and was really friendly & helpful in guiding us on their menu. I had the eggs Benedict, with a side of country fries and a mimosa, everything was great. I would highly recommend this place if you're near Lake Coeur d'Alene Idaho! .... Oh and the price was VERY reasonable!!! read more

A potentially great lunch experience was ruined by poorly prepared food. Both orders of fish and chips were served with decidedly overcooked fish that bordered on being burnt. The server was polite and friendly but only offered a strange explanation as to why the fish was overcooked rather than acknowledge the matter and correct it. The coleslaw was stale and the fries were marginal at best. We will not be returning. read more

My first experience was the Bardenay at the airport in Boise. Now the Eagle Bardenay is our monthly "date night" go to!!! We had show tickets two months ago and enjoyed the downtown Bardenay. They all deliver in their own way, the Bardenay way! The food is phenomenal. We are especially addicted to the way they prepare their brussels sprouts. Love, their cocktail, selections, and their annual drink select booklet/menue! We always try to eat at the bar and they're so personal and so friendly. They all have their own vibe, but our Eagle Bardenay has such a beautiful space you think you're in Mountain resort! Don't hesitate, go get yourself some Bardenay!!! read more

this review is a bit late, as my dining experience was last week, but it is very important to me that this review is written. my family and I came in with a party of 13 on very short notice (trust if it was up to me this wouldn't have happened lol) and the staff did a wonderful job accommodating us and was very kind about the whole thing. and our waitress, hailey, was (and definitely still is) a hero and I truly mean that. my family certainly are some unique characters but she handled it all like a professional. she was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and efficient! truly just wrote this review to sing her praises. hailey if you see this I owe you my life thank you so much read more
