There is a reason this company in Phoenix has only 3 stars overall! Do not purchase from them. I purchased a built-in BBQ from them about 3-4 months ago. It is a small grill, 3 burner Turbo grill (their brand) and it was approx $1400. It was a replacement for the exact same grill that was in the cutout previously, it was just a newer version. I used it twice and upon using it the 3rd time I noticed the push button for the lights, which lights up the button and the knobs was not working correctly. The button lit up but not the knobs. I called to inquire about what to do. It took them about 2 weeks to return my call, then Joe, informed me that since they did not install my BBQ I would have to pay a company a service charge to come look at the grill. I asked why would I have had someone install it when it was going to set into the exact cutout that the previous grill was in and I also do not remember them offering me an installation. Joe claims they did offer installation. My guess is the installation is somewhere in their ridiculous long receipt and paperwork but no verbal explanation behind what, if any, an installation covers. Apparently, since I did not have them install the grill, any time the grill needs work under their 10 year warranty I am going to have to pay for a service call. Joe said the installation was $175. I'm pretty sure I would have opted for the installation since 1-2 service calls is going to be at least $175. So here I sit with a defective $1400 Barbeques Galore Turbo Grill and no help from there company other than, "sorry, you'll also have to pay for a service call". In my opinion, their grills are not that great and overpriced for what you get. I ONLY bought what I bought because the cutout was the same size and I didn't want to hassle with cutting and grinding concrete to fit a different grill in the designated space, I certainly regret that decision now because I had been looking at a lot nicer grills for a better price. read more

The selection of grills and barbecues is remarkable. The store is huge , well laid out, super clean and well lit. If you are a Barbecue enthusiast, you definitely should find what you need here.. They even sell pizza ovens. The store also shares its space with Omaha steaks. Although the store wasn't busy at all when I came to visit, it would've been nice for someone to offer some kind of assistance which didn't happen. we have worked with bbq galore for years. we just got replacement grills for our bbq we originally bought from them. after getting them home, we realised they did not fit the grill. They kindly let us return them to their store and promptly gave us a refund. They are either going to find us ones that fit or modify grills for us to fit. We purchased a barbecue grill a year ago. After the installers left, we realized there were no lights installed that come with the grill. Called Ramiz and he said they were on back order. Every time we called we were told they would be coming in soon. Now it has been one year and we are still grilling in the dark. This is unacceptable. Grill cost over $3000. And this is the service we receive? Unacceptable. UPDATE...Called Ramiz and it turns out they have been trying to call us with the parts. They had the incorrect phone number, as the phone number from a year ago has been changed. They are coming out this week to install the lights. Ramiz was distressed about this Yelp review. This place was recommended by landscape 20/20. Our first sale's person was helpful, so we bought a large green egg and the blaze 32in grill which we were told would be delivered in 2 weeks. I called just after a month later and the man said he called the blaze rep and it would be 2 more weeks and that he would be leaving town for 6 weeks. At that point I said they need to deliver everything we bought that was in stock. It was delivered a week later. I called 3 weeks after that to find out where the grill was and the man told me everything had been delivered. I explained that there is no grill in my backyard and we need to find out when it will be in stock and delivered. He said he'd call me back. Before we hung up I asked if this is back ordered further, can we work together on the price for the upgraded version they of course "had in stock". He called me back an hour or so later and said the grill would be another 2.5 weeks and offered to work with me on a completely inferior brand. At this point 2 months later and still no grill I had no other option but to upgrade to a grill that was $800 more that was in stock. I asked when they would deliver it, I was told someone would call Tuesday for a Wednesday delivery. I called Tuesday around 6pm to ask when they'd deliver it and surprise! No one set it up at the store. So now I have to go pick it up. I showed up the next day to pick it up which they went over the paperwork and loaded it into the truck. I got home went over the paperwork and I didn't get the cover which was supposed to come with the grill. I realize this place is selling barbecues not space shuttle parts, but the lack of customer service overall is enough for me to encourage others to avoid this place all together. read more

Your intrepid reviewer is back, and this time it's about a product! Since Barbeques Galore corporate doesn't allow for reviews, we'll comment on the product here. This review is not about the local personnel, as they have been good to deal with. I can't help but think though, that they MUST be aware of the product defects. Several months ago we purchased a 4-burner built-in. Not long into ownership, an igniter stopped working and one of the gas flow knobs wouldn't turn easily. Called the warranty department, and to make a long story short, when the technician came out, he said it had melted and we can't cook with the lid closed at high heat. Now wait a minute!!! Can't cook at high heat? What the devil is a bar-b-que for, if you can't cook at high heat? And we're told to cook with the lid open? Clearly, someone hasn't a clue how to grill, rotisserie or bake. The saga continues! So the melted parts get replaced. We cook a prime rib on the rotisserie, closed lid at 350 degrees, and what happens? Yep, you guessed it - another melted igniter and a burner dial that won't turn. Now we've owned Blaze and Twin Eagles and NEVER had these problems. We didn't buy Barbeques Galore Turbo to go on the cheap, because it isn't cheap - it just fit in the existing spot. Unfortunately Arizona's lemon law covers vehicles, not barbeques. Buyer beware when you consider a Turbo bbq grill. read more

When I built a home in Las Vegas in 2000, I had a BBQ Galore grill put in next to our pool. It functions great to this day, much better than portable units I have used over the years. We went to BBQ Galore to buy a BBQ and a fire pit for our new home in Scottsdale. A very pleasant salesman, Ramiz, came up to us and introduced himself. He wasn't pushy & didn't try to upsell us something we didn't want. But, Ramiz really knew BBQs! He was extremely helpful in picking out the right unit for us. We had been looking for a fire pit to go next to our pool for several months. BBQ Galore had one that we just loved. Unfortunately, it was way over our budget. We must have gone back to look at the BBQ & the fire pit multiple times over the next couple of months. Ramiz always remembered our names and was even cracked jokes with us. On one of our last visits, Ramiz mentioned in a couple of weeks the store was having a sale but, after checking with his manager, they would give us the special pricing before the sale. Much to our surprise, we decided to buy the fire pit as it was a deal we couldn't turn down. The fire pit was recently delivered by one guy who was incredibly strong and carried the disassembled unit by himself. He did a fine job in putting the fire pit together and showing me all of the important features of it. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough budget left over to buy a BBQ, but we will be back and will ask for Ramiz. Overall, we are very satisfied with everybody we came into contact with from BBQ Galore. read more

If you want my business, pay attention to your customers and fix these issues, most of which have to do with poor customer service after sell is complete. Terrible customer service I called to see if they had a part I asked for a specific part the guy said yes we just got them in I drove 45 minutes to get here I went in and it's not the part I specifically asked for it was completely wrong and then he starts telling me that no they don't carry that sort of part and that's only in an RV store or whatever the hell he was saying but Jesus I had to fight a half hour traffic inside the Desert Ridge just to find this place I'm so pissed off I hope nobody ever goes to BBQ galore I hope they burn down and go out of business for having such bad customer service I'm pissed read more

Went to this location to purchase a grill mid week prior to Memorial day. My intention was to take advantage of the sales going on. Once inside the store I browsed for at least 45 min before I caught a glimpse of a single employee. I explained I was looking for a specific grill I had seen on the website. The sales person checked inventory and the grill I wanted was at zero stock. So I was then introduced to the more expensive model. This was in stock I was told and I could pick it up next week. This availability part is important because I need the grill to be my main cooking element as my home is being remodeled and I don't have a kitchen currently. So the sales person writes up the order. Prints my receipt and sends me on my way. The next day I got a call from the sales person who explained the sale of that model had not been secured in their system. So I would have to wait until mid June to get my grill. Oh and that he was headed out on vacation the next day. This was a full two and a half weeks past my original pick up time. I contacted the store the following day. I asked if potentially they would consider delivering for free as I was now having to wait longer than anticipated. Instantly the sales person on the phone got unnecessarily defensive saying this was not his fault and I would have to talk to the manager. I don't recommend this location as there are big customer service gaps. read more

We have a 12 old BBQ Galore at our other home and it's still in great shape so we expected the same when we purchased this one year ago for our rental property. Sadly, it is not the same quality which resulted in an internal breakdown and fire coming out the knobs. They won't replace the unit and I have been waiting for a fix for 2 weeks. I called for a price match and the sales associate and the store manager agreed to price match a Big Green Egg and table package price Ace Hardware offered me. I had a picture of the package pricing that I also gave to barbecues galore. Upon paying the receipt did not honor the discounted pricing and instead charged list pricing. Upon showing all of this to the sales associate and the manager they then refused to adjust what I was charged now claiming the Ace hardware pricing was not fully documented. Very shady! read more

Worst costumer service ever. My grill lights and automatic lighter went out. For months I've been dealing with the issue. After waiting MONTHS for a new transformer, the repair person they sent said it needed additional parts. He also said he would get them ordered and install them. I bought a new Delta Heat $2k BBQ and the Flareups are terrible. I specifically asked to get a BBQ that did not do this.The thermometer also does not work. I called BBQ Galore ( and they said they cant do anything) and they referred me to Delta Heat who was no help. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location due to the poor customer service provided by the salesperson. We purchased a Green Egg, several built-in island items, accessories, and a 6 piece patio set on a Saturday. The delivery of the furniture was schedule for the following Friday. On Friday, when we did not hear from BBQs Galore, we called to confirm delivery time. Per the salesperson, we were not on the schedule for Friday...for any day. After multiple phone calls, many excuses, and me pushing for a solution, the salesperson tells us that they were able to fit us in the schedule for Saturday. When I explained that I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate Friday and that I was considering cancelling the purchase, the salesperson again says "Let me call you back". The final solution...they can have it delivered on Friday (the day originally scheduled), but they will have to charge ME $50 for the delivery. When I asked why I should pay to correct their mistake, the salesperson stated that they use a 3rd party to deliver and they would be charged. Apparently, to BBQs Galore, that charge should be passed to us even though this was their mistake. I finally gave in, accepted their delivery window for Saturday and hung up. All they had to do to turn this bad review to a very positive review was take ownership for their mistake and pay the $50 to honor the original delivery date. I purchased a Barbecue at Barbecues Galore 18 years ago, yes 18 years ago. The brand was Cook-On, which was made specifically for Barbecues Galore. While believe it or not it still works, it was starting to show its ago. Since I had such good luck, I thought I would go back. Upon entering I was Greeted by Ramiz Cajic. When I mentioned my 18 year old BBQ, he knew exactly what I was talking about. We discussed many options including rebuilding the old one (which still can be done). I opted instead for a new one. Ramiz is an exceptional Sales Representative of this company. He reviewed with me in detail what my needs were and helped me make the correct choice, helped me load the BBQ in my truck and made sure everything was done correctly. Unfortunately after getting it home and unboxing, it was found to have a defect (no fault of Barbecues Galore), must have occurred in shipping from manufacturer. I called Ramiz and he said to simply bring it back. He even stayed late after his normal end of day to wait for me. Ramiz made the return process smooth as silk, no issues no questions asked, and made sure the refund would be processed quickly. I would have just exchanged, but they were out of stock on that model. If you are in the Market for a new Barbecue, or need to replace parts or get accessories, this is the store for you, and Ramiz is the guy to ask for! I bought a Summerset propane fire pit in October of 2019 from Barbaques galore and absolutely love it. But the salesman's service was even more outstanding. If you go there ask for Ramiz. I notice after setting up the grill by myself (not too difficut) that there were some parts missing. I called Ramiz and told him and he said those parts are in the second smaller box. I said I never received a second box. He put me on hold for a short time. When he got back on the phone he said the driver never left me with a second box. Ramiz said he gets off work in 30 minutes and would drop it off at my house. When he arrived with the box he said I can help you with the rest of the parts. So he spent 30 minutes finishing the install he even tested it for me. This was above and beyond and much appreciated. read more

I have been shopping at BBQ Galore for about 14 months. I usually shop in the Chandler location, but ended up stopping by the Scottsdale location near desert ridge. After experiencing the lack of customer service I will not be shopping here ever again. As a consumer, I have purchased a grill, smoker and other various items such as brushes, sauces, wood chips, and other utensils for BBQing. I went into the desert ridge location on January 27th around 1:00. I purchased woodchips, bbq sauce, rub, and rib racks. I even told the sales representative I dont think these racks are going to fit in my smoker, but I'll buy them anyways. I ended coming back 1 hour later and wanted to refund the rib racks. As I expected the rib rack wouldn't fit in my smoker. The sales rep refused to take back the product and said "the box was in poor condition and will not be taking this back. The same sales representative that I purchased my products from earlier. He mentioned the manager Chris will be in tomorrow if I wanted to talk to him. I left the store, pretty ticked off. In conclusion, I have dropped over 1200.00 in the past 14 months and never had any issues with the store. I even have recommended people to this place. My friends of mine have told me, that I should just shop at Home Depot down the road, cause they are cheaper and have the same products. Because the sales representative at BBQ Galore, refused to take my rib rack, which was 15 dollars, you guys have lost me as a customer and I will never recommend this place again. Also I will post on every social media sites, such as facebook, yelp, white pages how horrible the customer service is, and how badly they treated me. So instead of refunding my product that I purchased for 15.00 bucks, you have lost a customer and someone that will bad mouth how bad this place is. Tonight I visited your location at Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix Arizona at around 5 pm and two of your associates were not wearing masks while it is mandated by the city of Phoenix. As a medical professional I find it frustrating and infuriating that you would allow your employees to have such a laissez-faire attitude towards wearing masks. The two offenders were the man at the Omaha Steaks counter who had no mask on at all and an older gentleman with BBQ Galore shirt on with gray hair wearing it hanging off of one ear while working and he was doing this within close proximity to a African American female employee who was wearing her mask as she should have been. He interacted with me with his mask off as well to tell me where to ring up. Wow I cannot describe my disappointment with the follow up customer service of this store. My husband and I bought a BBQ from here on Feb 20th and spent over $800. Within three weeks, one of our burners stopped working. There is clearly a problem with the propane getting delivered to this particular burner because it will not ignite now matter what you do. I have been calling BBQ's Galore for the past six days to try and get this fixed to no avail. On Tuesday, I spoke with someone both at this location and the Chandler location and was told that someone from the scheduling department would be in contact with me to schedule a service call. Fast forward two days and I have still not heard anything from anyone until tonight when I received a very disappointing call from Matt the manager of the Chandler location. Matt was beyond rude and unhelpful. He informed me that no service call had been ordered and pretty much offered me no solution. I was told that to order a service call I have to go into the store in person to pre pay for it - funny this was never mentioned to me by the other THREE people I have spoken to regarding this problem. The bottom line is I would like to get my less than a one month old barbecue fixed and apparently the store that I bought it from has absolutely no interest in assisting me do so - how is this acceptable customer service? read more

Purchased a BBQ here 2 years ago and just had a service issue that I thought should have been covered by warranty. Although it took a little convincing the sales mgr came around and treated me right. (Chris). And the sales person (Vera) really went to bat with the mgr and made it happen. So on this service related issue I grade them highly and on that account would recommend. We had a Turbo that we purchased in 1999. It was still working, but parts were needing replaced that were adding up. We loved this grill and decided to go back to find another one. About three years ago I purchased a Delta Heat grill from this company. A year ago we moved to a total electric house and I paid them to convert the grill from natural gas to propane. They sent their service man Charley to do it. A year ago after his conversion it caught on fire! They sent another service tech, Fritz, to repair it. It worked for about a year. I planned a nice dinner of Thai marinated flank steak for tonight. It wouldn't light! I cooked dinner on our range - it was a disaster! So after three years I think I have wasted $4,000. I cooked dinner on our range, a major disappointment. Next week, I'm going to Home Depot to purchase a Weber gas grill - this pile of junk is going in the trash. I feel totally ripped off and will never do business with either Barbeques Galore or Delta again. Do business with them at your risk. Jake failed to provide me with the hose to connect the patio heater I purchased and when I called back, after reviewing the manual, which describes the hose, Jason (another salesman) denied that it should have come with hose. So maybe it did not? But I suppose I would have thought they (Jake) would tell you that a hose was required, and not included, for an additional $50.00. I recently needed to replace my grill after fourteen years of very regular use. I grill a lot and my old Grand Turbo finally gave up the ghost. I was referred to this location by a coworker and even though there was one closer to me it was worth the drive. The store is beautiful and well stocked with all things BBQ. The manager Chris was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This company provided all the things I needed fourteen years ago when I had an outdoor kitchen built and I had confidence in their product line. Chris provided a loyalty discount which was appreciated. I made a choice and less than a week later I was grilling again. The installer Fritz was amazing to watch as he is truly a Strongman who handled the installation like a pro. I was very pleased with how I was treated and how professional the sale and service were. I was asked by my contractor to go to Barbecues Galore to select a barbecue grill and appliances. On entering the store, I was greeted by the manager and all of the sales personnel. Even though they were busy with other clients, they reassured me that it would not be long before one of their salesmen would be able to assist me. On this scorching hot day, they offered me a bottle of water and invited me to begin looking at their showroom. The showroom is enormous and airy with an "outdoorsy" feel, well-laid out, and has the perfect variety of barbecue equipment for anyones' needs, desires, and price points. They, also, carry Yeti coolers, patio furniture, fire pits, and an extensive variety of other barbecue and patio accessories. You can even get the meat to throw on your grill! One ENTIRE WALL is dedicated to Omaha Steaks freezers so you can get dinner on the grill pronto! I did not have to wait long at all (and I didn't mind the wait one bit with so much to look at!) before Joshua came to assist me. Joshua spent a decade working as a chef prior to assisting customers in selecting the perfect grill at Barbecues Galore--and what a pleasurable and significant difference this makes when making decisions about what to buy! This buying experience was already LIGHT YEARS BETTER than a previous grill purchase (NOT at Barbecues Galore) where the salesman could just as easily have been selling tractors or shoes for his lack of grilling or cooking experience. An experienced chef selling barbecues! What took so long to figure out that the grill buying experience is so much more relatable when two "cooks" can "stir up the conversation." As the primary "chef" in our home, it was GREAT to have Joshua speak to ME, and NOT ask to speak to my husband (a great guy who knows plenty about eating barbecue, but nothing about grilling or barbecuing). have a BBQ galore out door kitchen from 07 it has everything..6 burner grill, two burner top stove, 3 drawers, pull out for the gas tand and a built in refrigerator. The refirg. finally died. So I researched all frig's that should fit into the space..4.5 QF types...nothing be found that would fit into the space. Went to BBQ galore on Tatum (as the Camelback store is no more) took my Maxi cool refrig. book with me and showed the salesman a picture of the item that they were selling. I asked him to talk to the manager to make sure the frig would fit into the space. Yup, the manager said yes...it was the "same exact size". bought it, took it home. A few days later I had my guy there to help slide the old one out and slide the new one it...you got it..didnt fit..old frig 19 inch and change..this ne 20 inch and change wide. I already knew the other frig begin sold at bBQ galore was way to big to fit. so I had my guy alter the space so this thing would fit...I did call BBQ galore and let them know it did not fit and asked them to provide some compensation for me having to pay for the frig to fit.. nope.not never, wouldn't ( the manager from Chandler place called first as the other guy was on vacation) The tatum location manager did call me about a week later.. same thing..nope, not, to bad..even though they know there are no other frig'es out there at will fit into the space. my point...they gave me mis information. they don't care about old customers who have purchased outdoor kitchens from the prior BBQ galore company. They do not make a frig that will fit into the space... so when your frig goes bust and you bought your kitchen a few years ago.. be prepared...their frigs do not fit..and no other ones are available...sears..wrong size etc...good luck. Next time you advertise a contest with prizes it would be nice to know that you require a customer to spend $100 for an entry blank. Pretty cheesy in my opinion. read more
