Pete set up the sale of a floor/display item for us over the phone/text/etc. The price was approved by management so he said we were all set. He said it's ready to go. You just have to pick it up today. Great we thought. We just needed to rent a U-Haul & drive 30 minutes to get there... When we arrived at the store we found d only two corporate employees. They had gone out of business. Pete lost his job & apparently didn't want to wait for us so he sold our item to someone else and told us to have a nice day. The walk-in supposedly offered $800 more and took the grill on the spot. Since the store was now empty, the corporate managers (in town from other locations) said all they could do was apologize. Never mind the fact we had a confirmed sale and could easily pick something up from another store. They have a complete lack of business ethics. No wonder the location went out of business. read more

After more than 30 years of use, it was time to retire my old Turbo 3 grill and get a new one. I must have called Pete 50 times and asked him 200 questions, lol! Pete has amazing patience and professionalism, not to mention being just a cool dude.SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND BbqsGalore does not sell cheap junk. Go somewhere else for that. You are buying quality, and you definitely get what you pay for. As far as value, having a grill last 30 years speaks for itself. Disappointed in the service. After they had sold the bbq, they let us know the bbq cant be installed by them for company policy reasons. Not an issue, but the bbq was then just dropped to our place, and it was missing screws for the drip pan, and had a pile of parts there were no instructions on how to use them. The gas company guy helped to hook it up, but wish I had not bought from them - would get better service elsewhere. BBQ itself is top notch. I was gonna buy more stuff from the company, but taking my money elsewhere now. read more

We began calling them on July 1, hoping to make a purchase and update to our outdoor kitchen. No calls back. We drove 45 minutes to their store, only to discover they'd locked the doors 10 minutes early (we had hoped to at least buy some parts to get our BBQ rolling for the holiday). We then called every week, once the holiday pressure was over, trying to decide if we wanted to repair our BBQ's Galore Turbo with new heat shield, or if we wanted to finance a new BBQ that would fit our outdoor kitchen. No calls back. We wrote emails, and sent messages over Yelp. No responses. In talking to several local shops, this seems to be the norm. The irony is that we found a repair person here on Yelp who indicated the Turbo is an easy repair, and that he had the parts we needed. On the very day he was at our home repairing the grille (August 13), we got a call from the headquarters of the BBQ's Galore franchise, after we'd sent so many messages. We texted them photos of the time of day of the store closed, and they promised they'd have the local franchisee call us the next day. No call came, but Chris from LEVEL_UP BBQ Cleaning and Repair was unbelieveable. We thought we needed repairs. Turns out we only needed a real deep cleaning of our new-to-us (came with the new house) 25 year old BBQ. We hope to get another couple of years out of our like-new BBQ, and will be rebuilding/replacing our outdoor kitchen as part of a grand remodel plan. The one thing we know for certain is that we'll not be doing business with the Las Vegas franchise of BBQ's Galore. [edited to add photo of one request and phone log as the owner says we never reached out.] I would have likely been willing to retract or at least edit the review had the owner not inferred a lie, or written that "we were hurting his livelihood and damaging his life." Dramatic to say the least. [second edit] after receiving messages suggesting my review is "ruining their lives," and "that you want to ruin peoples lives tells me everything I need to know about you," I added photos of the owners messages. Quite a bit of drama where a simple "I'm sorry we didn't return your phone calls over the course of 3 weeks, we'll do better. Is there any way we can win you back as a customer?" would have completely changed my attitude towards this unfortunate company (who has other reviews expressing they don't return calls). read more

I really like coming here because the gentleman that assisted me was so nice and informative. Even though I didn't buy the big green egg I wanted. I'll be sure to make the purchase here. Pete needs a promotion with the type of customer service he provides guest. They offer a wide range of grills, Komodo grills - big green egg and Komodo joe. I noticed that that they carried yummy cuts of meats and high end. They also have a wide variety of accessories for your grilling needs. We went in Friday to buy a grill and paid extra for delivery. They said they'd call Sunday to setup delivery, we called and stopped in on Tuesday and Wednesday with no real help or follow through. This is terrible service. When we had called about it they promised to call back after they looked into it but never received the call. At one point they said they had called and left a message more than likely to the wrong number it's just annoying that we had to go back to the store 2 additional times just to figure out where the grill is. My wife and I recently bought our first house and decided to treat ourselves to a grill and smoker (I had always wanted a nice grill and smoker). We ended up with a Turbo grill and a GMG Jim Bowie. The salesguy Sean was extremely helpful and has been able to thoroughly answer any questions that I have about the products or even grilling/smoking in general. I found an item on Amazon. It was a $240 switch. They were more expensive but gave me a discount to match the price on Amazon. I am a business owner so I wanted to support a local company. The switch arrives a week late (which is not their fault) but when I needed to return it I noticed there was a 20 % restocking fee. Super helpful staff (I think his name was DeAndre) that obviously loves his job and talking shop. Learned a couple tricks! We just bought an island from Pete, and since it was was Pete's day off I was asked to contact Ricky at the store. So, I called and spoke to Ricky; I told him who I was and that I was calling to make the payment. He right away went into asking when it was going to be picked up and that we would have the proper tools and manpower to pick it up. He was rude and was talking to me as if I had done something wrong, all the while, wondering if this is the way he treats all of his customers that spend money in their store. After several calls back and forth we finally completed the purchase, and I shared with him my initial experience with him (Ricky). Ricky did apologize, but turned his misguided behavior into an explanation of their miscommunication that he would handle internally, which is not a me problem and I don't appreciate being treated as such. Several times over the course of several conversations Ricky wanted to be clear about the pick up of the island and that we would have the people and the tools to pick up the island. Each time he asked me, I told him yes. It seemed to be the only thing that mattered to him; so much that he put it on my receipt and highlighted it in yellow. read more

SKIP THE BIG BOX STORES FOR YOUR GRILL. COME TO THESE GUYS! These guys are amazing. We previously made the mistake of going to Home Depot for a new grill. We waiting 30 minutes for several Home Depot employees to try to locate the 6 "in stock" Kitchen Aid grills ($599). They couldn't find any and we finally decided to leave. Husband suggests we look at Barbeques Galore. I was hesitant because I figured (1) it would be too cost prohibitive and (2) I didn't want to be upsold for more than we needed and wanted to spend. Insert store manager Deondray and salesman Kendall. Super cool from the second we walked in. We didn't feel pressured. They quickly educated us about the investment of a grill and how several on their sales floor could be removed from roll cart and inserted later on into an island in the backyard. They then shared with us models that were immediately in our price range with that feature. ($1499 full price but was on sale for 50% off!!) They really know their stuff when it comes to grills and they were super easy to work with, friendly, funny, down to earth and hooked us up with an awesome grill that should be a backyard staple for our family for the next decade. I purchased two barbecue doors. One was in stock other was in Arizona so only days away from being shipped to Henderson. I waited just short of a month and never got my doors. I finally went and picked up the one door that was in stock. When I picked up the one door, the guy said he had no information to when or where my other door was. I then went home and found another door from somebody else and canceled my order for the second door. I never got the second door I ordered from Barbeques Galore. They never credited me back for the second door nor responded to any of my emails I have sent. Basically I just got ghosted. So now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card which I should not have to do. read more

We've bought our patio furniture and BBQ from this store. Always happy with the quality and service provided by the knowledgeable staff. Today I needed to get some additional lava rock for the fire pit we completed and the usual store did not stock it. Wife suggested I call BBQ Galore and Deondray was working and while they do not carry lava rock he said he had some a vendor left from a demo and I could have it gratis. Just bought our first pellet grill (Green mountain grill- Daniel Boone) and we are so excited to use it! This place has a large selection of high quality barbecues and outdoor furniture, but do not have them deliver and set up the equipment! We bought a medium priced unit on a Wednesday, and scheduled to have it delivered the next Monday, with a call Sunday to give us a window of delivery time. Nobody called Sunday, and the store did not open till 10, so we could not call until then. When I called, they said they would have the delivery dept call us. We received a text a few minutes later stating they would deliver it NEXT MONDAY, a week from when delivery was suppose to happen. I called them back and told them to forget it, and I would come pick it up. They refunded the delivery charge. Crazy delivery experience. Don't do it. read more

When I walked into the store I was greeted by DeAndrey. He was engaging and eager to assist. I needed a few hard-to-find replacement parts, but BBQ Galore did not have them in their inventory. Instead of just letting me leave, DeAndrey took the time to find the parts for me online. He then shared some tips on installation, maintenance and enhancing the performance of my grill. DeAndrey's product knowledge, expertise in his field and willingness to help without making a sale were very impressive. They have good products but I waited for almost an hour to purchase anything (which i didn't get a chance to). There was a serivce clerk there but he was not aloud to ring anyone up for their purchases. He just shows the product on the floor... so the ONLY person who can ring us up isn't there. Which the service tech said the longest we would have to wait was about 5 minutes until they returned... We left after 45 minutes of waiting and the person was still not back. Came here last week and waited for an employee who could check me out to come back from running an errand. After 45 minutes of waiting he never returned so I left my items on the counter and walked out. I decided to give the store another chance because they have great products, and today I drove all the way down here, walk up and see a sign in the door they are closed at 3pm because their system is down. I've now wasted hours of my time driving here and waiting here to buy stuff from them and they aren't able to sell anything, again.. I'm confused on how they remain open when you can never buy stuff here? Heading to sportsman warehouse now to make my purchase. I visited Barbeques Galore in Henderson, Nevada, on their 'One Year Anniversary' sale and celebration day. I was interested in getting a pellet smoker and wanted to see what they had and check prices. I saw the GMG Daniel Boone and liked it. Normal price was $599, that day's sale price was $499. Was still on the fence about it. My sales guy then came up to me and said the "Store Manager" had just lowered the price down to "black friday" pricing to $449 in honor of their anniversary. I bit and bought it. Funny thing is, now I visited the store on December 1st and saw that the actual black Friday pricing ended up being $399...not $449, like I paid. Now, I feel lied to and it sucks that I paid $50 more. Also found the same smoker at Desert Sportsman's for $399. Watch what you pay at Barbeques Galore and shop around for better pricing.
