Came out to replace ice maker in sub zero. Did the work. Have been trying to reach them as it has done nothing but leak and freeze excess water in the freezer drawer making it unable to open. I keep calling and only get their call in center. Can never reach the actual Henderson location. Never use this service!!!!! Came out to work on a wine cooler and advised that an inverter board was bad and needed to be replaced. They required a large deposit for the parts in order to continue. we sent a check electronically but the next day they told us that they could not find the part but they still cashed our check the next day. Now they won't be writing a check to us until next week and then mailing it so who knows when we will receive a refund. Not a decent way to do business. After many years of problem-free use, my Samsung Steam MoistureSensor dryer lost its heat. After troubleshooting a few things, I entered a search for a company who could work on it. Mr. Appliance popped up in my search, and I placed a service request online. The same day, an employee called to verify and asked a few questions (was it under warranty, etc.) She said that I would receive a text from the tech when they were on their way and gave me a 9:15am to 11:15am window. I received a confirmation of the appointment by text (with a picture of my tech) and by email. At 9:31am, the morning of my appointment, I received a text and phone call from Louis, my tech. He said he was on his way and gave me an ETA of 25 minutes, depending on traffic. He arrived within that time. Louis was professional and friendly and went to work on my dryer. He found that the thermostat was not working and said it was a part he did not have but he had checked and found a place that had one in stock. He gave me an estimate of the repair, and I agreed. He then called to verify that they had the part and said he would go to pick up the part; it would take him about an hour, depending on traffic. He was back within that time and installed the part. In addition, he vacuumed the dryer, checked the belt and other parts. I had a couple questions about a couple features of the dryer that did not seem to work (Adjust Time, Mixed Load buttons). He explained how the dryer had settings that used the sensors and pointed out the settings that could be adjusted with the buttons. I really appreciated that he took the time to answer my questions and was impressed with his quality of service. I received a follow-up email for the repairs and by email and text. Very thorough communications, which I appreciate. The cost of the repairs was reasonable and affordable for my limited budget, and the entire visit went smoothly. Louis is very knowledgeable, respectful of property, clean cut and efficient. Mr. Appliance has earned my business, and I will not hesitate to contact them for any future appliance repairs. read more

At the $119 initial service visit, the technician diagnosed the main board of my dishwasher, and determined it was. Quoted an additional $720 for the board replacement and installation. Reluctantly agreed. A week later, part arrives. They install it, and dishwasher still does not work. Now they diagnose the front control panel as dead. Fortunately, their supplier no longer carried that part, so I asked that they re-install the original board and refund all but the service fee. They promptly did this. Meanwhile, I was able to find the front panel on ebay for around $110. When it arrived, I installed it myself (six easily accessible screws) and the dishwasher worker!! The original, supposedly defective main board was still installed. So basically, I paid $119 for an incorrect diagnosis and opportunity to price gouge. If they had the second part, the total bill would easily have exceeded $1000, but the actual repair was barely a tenth of that. Bottom line: Overpriced and jumps to incorrect conclusions. We had a roller replaced on our dryer replaced by Mr. Appliance, and we're charged over $400. Less than one month later our gas dryer nearly caught fire. We called them to see if they could come back out, but were told it was unrelated to the repair and we'd have to pay to have them come out again. Therefore, we went with a different company for the second repair. The second repair company said the wrong roller was used that wasn't meant for this dryer and it destroyed the dryer and was moments from starting a fire. Ultimately, we decided to just get a new dryer after that. I then contacted Mr. Appliance to just get a refund of the "repair" that destroyed our dryer. They said they'd reach out to the repair person, but that was three weeks ago. Stay away from this place. The repair was terrible, they were over priced, and the customer service and follow-up was disappointing as well. read more

Called for repair of my clothes dryer. Was told there would be a $125 service fee to come and diagnose the problem, but if we used them to make the repair, that fee would be waived. The technician arrived, told us we needed a new motherboard, but that part was no longer available. However, he could install a "refurbished" part for $500. I told him we were advised by the girl in his office that, if we had him do the repair, the $125 service fee would be waived. He looked at me like I was insane and said, "well if she told you that, she needs to be trained." He then said he could re-solder the part and get the machine working for a cost of $125. We said OK. He said, "OK, I just have to get something out of my truck, I'll be right back." He got in his truck AND LEFT! Never to return!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Short version: Chris is extremely rude and condescending. Barely looked at the problems and did a half ass "fix" which actually did nothing at all. Long version: Had trouble with the ice maker in the fridge, ice chunks build up so it stops making ice and I couldn't even get the tray out of the freezer. Also trouble with the microwave, made a terrible noise and never got to full power to heat anything and then would just completely shut off after a few seconds. The first company that came to look at it never responded back to the warranty company, so they sent out these guys. The warranty company also said we would NOT have to pay another service fee since it is still under an open ticket. Chris came in, looked at the ice maker and says in a VERY condescending tone "you know the ice maker is off right!" I had turned it off because it would just keep building up an ice block. Then he "looks" at the microwave, doesn't take anything apart or test it, insists the door is the problem, fiddles with it a little bit, and says it's fixed. He then proceeds to say he needs to collect a $75 service fee. I explain to him, no the warranty company said it's under the same ticket so I don't owe another service fee. He then got very rude and mean and angry and said he can't leave without collecting money. When I still insisted I'm not paying anything he says "fine I'll just write it down customer refuses to pay ". As he is still standing in my kitchen I call the main line to Mr. Appliance to confirm that I do not need to pay another fee, as I'm on the phone he says "I don't have time to sit here and wait for you on the phone I have other things to do " and he left. As he's sitting in his car in my driveway, refusing to leave, the woman on the other end of the line (from Mr. Appliance) did confirm that I do not owe anything else. I assume she then called him because I saw him on the phone in his car and then he finally left. Nothing was ever done to fix the issues with my appliances, because Chris told the warranty company it was fixed. I just had another company come out to look at the microwave and they actually took pieces apart and found out that a main component is failing and needs to be replaced. read more

Service guy was no help and did very little to diagnose the problem with my dishwasher. He took off the cover of the air gap and when seeing minimal water flow declared that the drain pump was defective and would need to be replaced. He gave a quote of $320. He advised it might be better to replace the dishwasher. He was in and out of the house in under 15 minutes but did collect the $99. Since the dishwasher is less than 2 years old and that so little was done to diagnose the problem I did a bit of online research. As a result of this research I disconnected the drain line at the air gap an found a chunk of what looks like dried plumbers putty lodged in the tube of the air gap. After removing the putty and replacing the drain hose the dishwasher returned to good working order. For $99 I would think a simple check of the drain line would have been in order since the original complaint was that the dishwasher was not draining. These guys get an F. read more

So incredibly disappointed thought for once I'll give it to us a chance and try n repair something instead of thanking I'm out of options and running out and trying to buy something new. So my washing machine broke down on me in the middle of the night. Things were flooding, it took all night to clean up the water. I reached out to a company that was being advertised online and it ended up being Mr. appliance. The coupons were very misleading so I made sure to verify with the operator I was speaking to that I wouldn't have to pay the $80 as long as repairs were made or I didn't turn down any repairs that were suggested to be made. I clarified three different ways to make sure that we wouldn't be charged as long as I didn't turn anything down and the operator assured me that that was the case. So then they tell me the soonest availability is for days from now and I agree even though I have to wait a week because this person seemed competent. I was bummed because they both on their website same day service but I understood that after hours things may be different and that they may be busy as they tried to tell me they were very busy. So today when they show up spend five minutes looking at the washing machine to tell me that the parts are discontinued and there's nothing they can do and then they try and collect a service charge for me I'm sitting there looking surprised because I thought I clarified with the operator that if there was nothing that they could do that I wouldn't be charged for it and their five minutes of time. I went over and over with the operator that I could not afford the additional charges and if they were hidden charges or things I need to be concerned about I needed to know. I was assured that it was fine and that they would come and check it out and make suggested repairs as long as I didn't turn down anything unreasonable I would not be charged a service fee and that I would only be charge for repair. A very different story than what I'm doing to day from the person that's answering the day phone and the repair person. I'm upset I've been waiting a week now I still have no washing machine and now these people want more money from me to tell me that there's absolutely nothing they can do and the repair man himself said basically the repairs would cost as much is almost a new washing machine and didn't suggest that I fixed it all. So you want me to pay you $80 to tell me that there's nothing you can do even though I asked the person on the phone if that was going to be the case because I do not have that as I specified on the phone and told them I would be happy to not schedule an appointment if that was going to be the case and they assured me that was not the case and to continue with my appointment. False advertising and straight lies. Now I am here days later still with nothing to show for it and even more frustrated and upset. read more

I've used company now about 4 times and this will be my last, never has the same technician each one leaves the company when you call them back out. This last time I had work done the tech that originally fixed our stove knob was no longer there to "re-fix " his work which wasnt done correctly as when we went to use it, broke again. Called them to come and fix it they sent someone out and said they would send them back with the part to fix it again at no charge, the appt was set for a Friday between 2:00-3:00pm the technician. My gate called at 3:55 saying the tech was there and then the company called at 4:05pm saying the tech came but couldn't get through of course not because I now wasn't home and that wasn't the time frame. The lady then said I can reschedule for Monday morning which was fine, the tech called and said he was on his way on Monday but now needed to charge us for the repair which they assured me would be no charge since it was already "supposed" to be fixed, I said that that was unacceptable he then stated he would call the office and get it squared away well needless to say he never showed up or called. Complete ripoff! Stay away from this company! My tenant scheduled Mr Appliance of Henderson to repair a dishwasher that wasn't draining properly. Mr Appliance called me to confirm the appointment and they agreed to call me with authorization in two days when they were at the property and had diagnosed the problem. Instead they cleaned the dishwasher of a broken glass and the repairman was there 25-35 minutes removing the broken glass according to my tenant. He charged $262.50 for this and did not replace any parts. $500 per hour is what a top attorney charges not an appliance repairman. I didn't pay him because that is almost the cost of a new basic dishwasher, but my tenant agreed to pay since he chose them and he was responsible for the broken glass. Even more ridiculous is that the invoice said that the repairman was unable to get ahold of the owner even though he made no attempt to call me. I have the phone log on my cell phone to prove it. He knew that nobody would authorize a charge like this. read more

I call mr. Appliance on 1/7/19 to make an appt. to fix my double deck oven. She (Tanya )took all my info. and my oven. Set appt on 1/8/19 at passed 4pm and adviced me they will call or txt before the technician when arrived. I keep waiting,no call so I called them I asked them if they will send somebody. He said he will call the technician.Called twice on that day, to follow up, they told me they will call me back, nothing,no courtesy call.Next day (1/9/19) I'm waiting their call nobody call me back so I decided to call them. Set me another appt. the same day and time. At last somebody show up. Technician name Alejandro he find the model and series of my oven then he using his tablet searching for the parts. Then he told me I need two parts 1 is available and other one discontinued making that part. I asked him which one you need to replaced he said both. He never even open my oven to which one need replaced and use his tester to check which one need to be replaced. He said I had to pay him trip fee(diagnostic fee)$79.95. Asked him the part # maybe I can find the parts. He did not gave me the parts# told me it will show on your receipt. Next day 1/10/19 I received my receipt thru email, I check the part # stated on my receipt" DD 35830 evaporator fan motor" it's show that parts# is for refrigerator I cannot believe that. I call mr. Appliance the same day I spoked to "Serge" told him what happen, I'm willing to sent them the copy of the receipt he decline. He told me somebody will call within 2 business day.
