Absolutely loved this place! We sat on the patio in the loungey area which has two couches, a couple chairs and a firepit. We tried a bunch of dishes including the crispy sprouts, farmer Johnny salad, lobster carbonara and Fayette street pizza. All the food, cocktails, and service were wonderful. I tried the elm street pizza. It claims to be Detroit Style but I've always found Detroit Style to be light and airy with thick crust. This pizza is very dense and thick like a quiche. I like the space downstairs in Cerdo-it is small and intimate regarding the table seating, but has enough room for an ample bar. I sat at the bar and had a Malbec wine to start. The wine was a $12 glass (really?? Lil pricey)! As the event began the group was invited upstairs! I liked the space because it provided more openness that downstairs lacked! The food offerings of: flatbreads; jamon croquettes; meat & cheese selections! The food was average, but wish it was seasoned better! I appreciated the staff friendliness and the service provided-that is what bumped them up from a 3 to 4-star! I will come back to have dinner-I have my eye on the iberico pork loin. read more

First time here. Went for lunch. Service was very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Place was pretty empty but food took forever. Food was very blah, which really surprised me bc of the good reviews. Fish was way over cooked, so dry! Fries over cooked and rock hard. Burger and chicken just didn't taste good at all, blah. No one finished their meals. Stick with just the drinks. Maybe it was just the lunch shift kitchen, and dinner is much better???? Very disappointing lunch considering how many other places we could have gone too. read more

Cerdo has been on my list of go-to places in Conshohocken for some time. We finally made time to visit and it did not disappoint. We started off with two appetizers: jamon croquettes and lamb meatballs. I love lamb, but never have I had the meat in the form of a meatball. It was delicious. The texture was much softer than beef, veal or turkey meatballs and it had a nice aroma to it. The croquettes were also delicious. They were crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside. For our main course, I ordered the wild boar burger and my wife ordered the scallops. The boar burger is not all boar. It's actually ground boar, beef and bacon. Yes, ground bacon. It was topped with blue cheese, caramelized bacon (yes, more bacon...yum!), fried shallots and served on a very soft poppy seed brioche bun. The burger was amazing. It was so juicy. I had mine cooked medium well and it was perfect. My mouth is watering just writing this review. My wife's scallops were also very delicious. Thankfully, she shared. Cerdo was not cheap with the scallops, which were sprinkled with parmesan and sat on top of butternut squash and risotto with a sweet potato sauce. Aside from the good food, our server was very nice. I made a reservation the night before and we were seated in a cozy corner near the windows. It was actually quite nice. I definitely plan to return again. There's a number of items on the menu that I'd like to try. read more

My husband was very happy drinking 2 glasses of King Gambrinus Belgian Tripel beer- 10 percent alcohol while I drank a glass of Crusher Petite Syrah. Really solid pizza! Tried the Elm Street. Great fresh flavor in the ingredients. The Detroit style (deep dish, airy and chewy inside with a crisp exterior) is super filling/borderline heavy and will likely & happily leave 1-2 people with a decent amount of leftovers. This style reminds me of some of the great specialty pizza popups in Philly & Manayunk over the past few years. Excited to have this option in Conshy. Everything was fabulous. Definitely ate way too much for just two people but every bite was worth it. The boar burger was absolutely fantastic probably one of the best burgers I've ever had and the Brussel sprouts were top notch. If you are in the area you should give Cerdo a try! read more

I took my husband to Cerdo for his birthday dinner and I'd give the food 4 stars and the service 3 stars. We started off with the jamon croquettes and chickpea panella. The croquettes were comparable to ones we've had in Spain and we really enjoyed them. The panella was delicious, but he croquettes really stood out. For our meals, I had the pork tenderloin special and my husband had the seafood pasta. He devoured his pasta and repeatedly said how good it was. My pork tenderloin seemed fatty and/or undercooked so I had to cut off quite a bit. I told the server this and she confirmed with the chef it's cooked medium rare to medium. When I cook pork, I don't make it medium rare but maybe that's just me?? We ended with the brioche dessert- basically a sugar coated donut with goat cheese gelato in the middle and caramelized plums on the side. Such an interesting combo and so, so good. Very sweet though! I'm giving the service 3 stars because our server seemed very overwhelmed and our wine glasses were empty for 20+ minutes and I would have loved another glass sooner than that. If they had another person to help serve upstairs, that may have helped. We're already talking about returning for happy hour and looking forward to sitting downstairs at the bar. Another Pieri restaurant to add to the rotation in Conshy- gotta love that! read more

I have always seen Cerdo on yelp and noted their great reviews but I don't get over to Conshohocken that often so when my husband and I had a free night we made our way over here to test it out. Overall, we were very impressed. It's a cute little corner spot with a generous sized bar (for the space) and the decor is cute, a little old-timey yet modern. It was a pretty quiet night so not very loud and the service was good. They were a little slow at the end of the night but we were enjoying ourselves so not a big deal. We tried a spattering of appetizers and small plates including the following: 1. east coast oysters- they were decent, not the best i've ever had. no mignonette, just cocktail sauce. 2. cheese/meat board- this was the winner of the night. all the cheese and meats we selected were divine and the accompaniments were delicious also (golden raisins, truffle honey i would drink if i could, olives, mustard, etc.). 3. jamon croquettes- these were delicious and cheesy but I do wish there was a little bit more ham instead. I felt like the breading and the cheese overwhelmed the ham flavor. however, they serve the crouqettes with air-fried (???) little peppers which are AMAZING. i want a whole bag of them... it's like eating pepper popcorn. 4. bacon slab flatbread- this was delicious my only complaint is the brussels are served mostly whole on top of the pizza which makes for a great visual but was a little hard to eat. 5. the trapizzino- this was the only dude of the bunch which i'm shocked by... because how could 'stuffed fried dough' be bad, right? To be fair, I was stuffed at this point so maybe my opinions would be different if I were still hungry so take what I say with a grain of salt... but... it was hard to eat, i felt like the meat was dry (you get two- one with pork and one with broccoli rabe), and although the broccoli rabe one was 'wetter' I didn't really care for the flavors of the smoked mozzarella. I think for some this would be a total hit but I wasn't feeling it myself. Like I said, this place, overall, is a winner and we will definitely be back! read more

One of the fancier spots in Conshy for business lunches or a special occasion. Most things I've had here is excellent. While a little more expensive, the food is worth it depending on what you get. I will say this: I am not really a salad person, and their grilled romaine salad with chicken is THE BEST salad. I CRAVE it. I have never craved a salad before, really, so that's pretty cool. The dank apps are the best part: really good croquettes, hummus, mussels, tomato bread. I love their brussels as well. I order the brussels over fries (who am I as a person???) I have no idea how they roast them but it's so good. And 100% of their servers have been really nice the time I've been there! Sometimes the service is a little slow. read more

Update: I've tried to enjoy Cerdo but the bartender is obnoxious, quality of service has been very disappointing. Unfortunately due to bad customer service - mainly the bar tender (on multiple occasions)- I have stopped coming to Cerdo. It's a shame but I'll take my business elsewhere. It was embarrassing to take a family member their to be drooled over to the point of being uncomfortable and sub par food and service - I'll leave it at 2 stars bc I used to love this place. Fire the bartender and teach your servers about customer service bc this is not reflective of my overall experience and this group of restaurants. And this was not an isolated incident. Old review: I had a great meal with great service!!! We were not able to get a table at first so we all sat at the bar and we're having such a great time drinking and eating at the bar that we decided to stay at the bar for our meal. The bartenders make great drinks and are very friendly as is the whole staff. The food. Think Meat!!! Started with some meats and drinks- prosciutto, copa, and Serrano jam, and it was very good! We all shared oysters and ham croquettes ...ham croquettes was my favorite dish of the night! We were all too full to get a whole dinner so we split the burger- it was delicious! We finished w desserts and more drinks and everything was very good! They have a great selection of bourbon - aka they have Blanton's!!!! On Tap- Wine! Yes, the wine and even proseco is on tap here. Great wine selection (so I've been told- I'm a bourbon and beer guy). Parking: park below (down hill past intersection and before train tracks on right) in the parking lot after 530- otherwise parking is difficult. We really thought the restaurant was cute. Service was fine but the music was ridiculously loud. I like loud music -but not while I'm eating. I asked to have it turned down but our server said the manager likes to have it loud. We had the burrata appetizer and it was delicious. My husband loved his pork chop. I had the agnolotti which was okay-hard to look at it with the roe on top of it. It was just too much and not needed. read more

I was truly blown away by their event management, Pieri Hospitality, and their staff, who both went above and beyond to make sure our event went on without a hitch.
