She checked with the chef and it was a go. My salad was hearty and tasty. The salmon was delicious in my salad. I suggested to Mel that salmon should be an option for customers who don't eat chicken. So we will see if Puddlers decides to offer the salmon salad option. The ambiance is nice, it's loud but always a good vibe. It's been about 3yrs since we first visited. I do miss the flounder sandwich which is no longer on the menu. The black bean burger is a great vegetarian option as well. Last but not least the cheese curds are delicious and always fresh. The beer selection is great and the drinks aren't bad. Puddlers is a great local spot.

Service: each person with whom we interacted (hosts, manager, food runners and especially our server...she was fantastic). Food: For the table, we got Calamari: very light and crispy, but the meat was nice and tender Pepperoni and soppressata pizza: excellent, with an amazing sauce, sausage and crispy outside tender inside crust. Dinner: The kids both got the Rigatoni Vodka. This is what I had the first time we visited. It was just as delicious. Packed with flavor and the sausage was perfect. Tender, and just a touch of heat. My wife got the Gemelli. A pistachio pesto - this was probably the best pesto I've ever tasted. Creamy, fill of flavor and a touch of acid that brightened it up nicely. Incredible. I got the Bucatini Amatriciana. Pomodoro sauce with guanciale. Blew me away. The pomodoro was unbelievably well balanced. Exact amount of sweetness, slightly acidic and the guanciale brought the salty note, in the form of crispy crunchy bacon flavor, but surprisingly tender. Blown away. We had to try dessert. Tiramisu: it was as good as expected. Very well made Vanilla Panna Cotta: this was exceptional (like pretty much the rest of the meal) delicate and creamy, and a huckleberry compote (?) that was insanely good. A touch of salt was in there to make it positively sing. I could not more highly recommend giving this place a try. Absolutely the whole package. Loved it and will be back!

For my main course, I had a crispy fried chicken cutlet topped with a perfectly dressed Caesar salad (not on the menu but absolutely worth asking for). Everything was on point. I'll definitely be back!

Great menu, I was all set until our lovely server Bella recommended the focaccia chicken pesto sandwich--omg it was amazing!!! We came here during happy hour after visiting Valley Forge and I was happy to have some cocktails. Happy hour is generous it covers all of their specialty cocktails although I couldn't tell you what kind of rum or vodka was in the drinks they were still super cute, with little details like flowers or cages to make them fun. They also had food we had a few dishes mostly appetizers. The food is just pub food, nothing spectacular but some of it was pretty good. We had the cheese steak rolls which I would pass on next time they had too much cheese which made them a bit salty. We also ordered buffalo shrimp which was really good minus the blue cheese crumbles (I hate blue cheese) we also had a flatbread which was pretty yummy. I'd come back for drinks with the girls. The service was really good too!

It's certainly not the staff's fault and they've all been lovely, but it's been a significant wait every time we've come here. Moving to the food, it is phenomenal and why this place has a five star rating despite the above. The spinach artichoke dip and the tofu are both the best I've ever had at any restaurant ever. My husband got the steak sandwich and the bread was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly as well. I got the curried cauliflower salad and the dressing was a bit too strong for me and unfortunately the salad was dressed very heavily. But the cauliflower was still cooked well. Despite the service situation, the food is so good that I will definitely be back.

I was with two other people, and we ordered several different things. We tried the cheesesteak spring rolls, but they did not have much flavor. They could have used more seasoning, and the outside could have been hotter and crispier. They also ordered the jalapeño cornbread. They said it was more sweet than savory and they could not taste any jalapeño in it. I tried the deviled eggs again, and they were uneventful. They simply did not do anything for my taste buds. I added a little hot sauce, which made them slightly better. The mini pierogies were too greasy for me. They came with an aioli type of sauce, but I prefer my pierogies with sour cream. The sauce they provided did not add much flavor or improve the dish. One person ordered chicken fried chicken without the gravy, along with grits and eggs. They said their food was good. The other person ordered one of the specialty burgers topped with turkey bacon , pimento cheese, and other ingredients. They only took a couple of bites. I am not sure whether they disliked the taste or whether it was because the burger was very messy with all the cheese. Overall, I gave this restaurant a second try and sampled several different dishes, but the food is still not doing it for me. Located in Bryn Mawr on Conestoga Rd, there is a private lot and street parking available. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We were greeted by a friendly server before we even stepped inside. The host station is right inside and we were welcomed warmly once again. They offered us our choice of inside/outside seating. Being our first time there we wanted to see the interior. I mentioned this and they gave us a great table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. The store is decorated with a lot of Italian transportation...small cars and Vespas. I loved the high ceilings, and the upper level seating. They also have a huge TV on the wall, and decorated for the 2026 World Cup, despite Italy not qualifying! Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Some Italian places can be a bit on the cool/formal side so this was a nice change. Stop in and check it out, save some room for that bread and the gelato!

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below.
