It's so funny reading reviews over 10 years old. Remember when $14 for a dinner and $8 for a glass of wine in Conshohocken seemed pricey?? Anyway, I've been back to Bar Lucca a gajillion times since my first review. It's really a neighborhood staple for me now. The food is excellent, and super consistent. We will ALWAYS have a good meal here, the kitchen consistently puts out quality stuff with no misses. The pastas are house made and so is their bread. I love that the owners have a farm up in Bucks County, and they utilize some of the produce in the restaurant. But even more so I love their own wine! It's so cool that a neighborhood staple not only makes wine, but makes QUALITY wine. It honestly is delicious. The entirety of their wine list is really great, including a fancy reserve wine list, making it a perfect place to celebrate something. read more

The food wasn't for me, but that's OK. I made the assumption that the wild boar mafaldine would be similar in flavor to bolognese. It was more earthy, especially with the fried basil. It wasn't for me. I wanted the budino, but it seemed to be unavailable. I ordered the Nutella donuts instead. The strawberries were fresh, but the dough surrounding the Nutella was raw and chewy. My boyfriend and I recently moved to Pennsylvania and HAD to check out this cozy Italian restaurant in Conshohocken. It's located in a little residential area, but parking was no issue since they have their own parking lot. The restaurant also provides outdoor seating on their patio and had some of the most welcoming staff we have ever encountered! The bread they bring out before the meals was absolutely incredible. We could have gone just for that alone. Our margarita pizza and bucatini pasta came out piping hot and it was delicious. Their pistachio tiramisu is a must! We have never had anything like it before. Had a great evening here for girls night! They have a lot next to the restaurant if you're lucky enough to find parking in it. It fills up fairly quickly. Otherwise it's all street parking. We had reservations so we were immediately seated. The cocktails were delicious. We chose to order a couple appetizers, pizzas and salads. The Vineyard salad was so good as well as the short rib pizza. Would definitely order both again. The burrata appetizer 10/10. Our waiter was super patient and kind. Saw this place as i was driving by and it was super busy compared to other places so decided to give it a try. OMG! so good. I see why it was busy. Ordered the meatballs as an app. Definitely homemade. Had a delicious cocktail called Il Bulgeri, Had the waiter bring me some of the complimentary bread. Also seems fresh baked although it was served cold. Kinda weird. Dipping oil was nice accompaniment. Had the 2nd best pizza of my life. (1st was 40 years ago and about 2500 miles away) so this is saying a lot. I had the Neapolitan Sausage pizza. AMAZING!!! All ingredients are locally sourced and they even have their own farm in Bucks county for all their vegetables. And lastly the vibe: great 60's - 80's music playing. I liked what I read and saw on here so much that I wanted to try myself. I got the classic bucatini and the rose tiramisu, probably a special, to go. The bucatini didn't have the pretty bread piece that you see in entree pics and the rosé tiramisu has this black plasticy webby thing that is meant for decoration and not meant to eat. Besides those little things, I enjoyed the textures and flavors of the food lot. Fresh pasta with fresh sauce and fresh rose and tiramisu. Staff is friendly . I wonder if Bar Sera is a "cousin" of Bar Lucca because they are close to each other and the building styles felt similar to me when I just happened to pass Bar Sera on the way to Bar Lucca? read more

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because after we got our entrees and were well past done eating we couldn't find our waiter.
