Linguine and clams.
Lu T.

A really good dining experience if you are looking for good Italian food. We ordered the veal (little dry) but the sauce was fantastic. The linguine and clams were good. We offends the Shrimp pepperoncini and burrata were pretty good. Service was excellent. Nice neighborhood, good vibe and highly recommend.

Gnocchi alla Sophia Loren-

Unique dishes at @pepperonciniland this Friday night!! We had the Gnocchi Allá Sophia Loren: gnocchi with spinach, toasted pine nuts, and a port wine Gorgonzola cream sauce. We also had the Penne allá vodka with crispy pancetta, peas, and tomato cream. So much pasta for such a great price! Also had espresso martinis and side Caesar salads, which were actually quite big. Will definitely go back, even our leftovers were good! The waiters were attentive and checked on us a lot even tho it was a busy night! .

Really cool neighborhood spot. The full kitchen is open until 10 and open until 11 for pizza. Great spot for late night eating. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by a friendly bartender who explained the whole set up to us. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. The house red wine (cab) is pretty good for the price point. We watched the bartender make Espresso Martinis nonstop and when we asked about it she said they're so popular in the fall and winter that they make 200+ a week! Not my thing but if you're an espresso martini lover I recommend giving it a try! Each table is given bread with oil. This olive oil was incredible. It's high quality dark green olive oil that tastes like the kind you get at restaurants in Italy. We ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and the San Nicola entree. The salad was ok but had so much lemon zest that it overpowered the flavor of the rest of the salad. I HIGHLY recommend the San Nicola entree!! It was a great choice. The chicken was perfectly cooked; very tender and juicy. The menus says it comes with lump crab meat and shrimp. Most places say that but don't actually do it; that is not the case here! There was tons of crab with great flavor. The San Nicola was a great choice if you want something that is savory without being too heavy. My only issue was the noise level. It was so loud and everyone's voice echoed. It was hard to hear what was being said right next to me. Next time I will definitely request to sit outside if it's too packed inside.

Bread for the table

Pepperoncini has some PEPP in their step! Service around 6:15-6:30 on a Friday was stellar. Seated taught away and had great service throughout. Tucked into Conshy with easy-ish street parking, we were very impressed with the overall experience. What we snagged: -Mussels Spicy (Great flavor, but not spicy until we got to the broth with bread. Needed to be infused within the mussel meat) -Pappadelle Al Capo (Great dish, but the sausage needed to be cut smaller. Too big meatball-ish style for us) -Goombah pizza (Amazing taste. Great za) -Wine was VERY on point. Even had Blantons on the shelf for a little taste of great bourbon. Overall, 4.7. Great meal and great environment. Very pleased with the service and quality meal. Will 100% be back with family and friends.

Just passing through town and stopped for dinner. What a great treat and pleasant surprise! Great menu selections, fun and upbeat atmosphere and outstanding food. Service was fast and friendly! We had a wonderful veal with crab and artichoke and a classic veal Parmesan. Tender and mouthwatering veal! I'm

Worth the visit whether you are local or just passing through Conshee. My group of seven decided to try Bar Sera for a Saturday night dinner and we were not disappointed. Known for their Detroit style pizza, it was immediately a good sign when we arrived and saw a steady line of people ordering pies to go. The staff had us seated relatively quickly and took our orders promptly, setting a great tone for the night. To really experience the menu, we skipped the family style prix fixe and built our own spread of small plates and pizzas to share. That decision paid off. The arancini bites were a hit, and the calamari stood out for its unique preparation. Gochujang honey calamari was a first for all of us and it absolutely worked. The pizza is where Sera truly shines. We were blown away by the Elm Street, a deceptively simple pie with tomato sauce, Wisconsin brick cheese and pesto that delivered big flavor. The Ash Street went in the opposite direction with complexity and boldness, featuring BBQ pulled pork, jalapeño pesto, cilantro, scallions and brick cheese. Having been to Detroit and sampled true Detroit style pizza, this felt like a genuine and well executed homage. The cocktail program deserves just as much praise. Drinks like the Nightmare on Elm Street with brown butter washed bourbon, brandy, lemon, apple sage honey, almond bitters, cranberry bitters and egg white, and the Lone Ranger with fig reposado, black pepper, Grand Marnier, lemon, brown sugar and Turkish tobacco bitters wowed the table with unique and bold flavors. Overall, Bar Sera is a fantastic neighborhood spot that punches well above its weight. Great food, inventive drinks and a lively atmosphere make it well worth a visit when you are in Conshee.

But then when I was looking up their burger week menu I came across the valentines menu and it looked good, so I figured I would give it try. My husband's dinner was alot better than mine so I was eating some of his, even though we always share anyway. He got the oysters with a dragonfruit sauce and they were good. I ordered crab and corn soup with grilled focaccia bread. The soup itself was fine , but it was only half a bowl and not much crab in it. I would have liked more soup instead of the bread. I gave the bread to my husband because we got a good amount of bread for the appetizer and I didn't want to fill up too much. I probably should have ordered the calamari instead , that looked pretty good. My husband's scallops with risotto was very good. Seared perfectly, creamy risotto, good flavor. Normally that is what I like to order, but I got the crab pasta because I love crab. I was disappointed In this dish. The crab tasted a little too fishy like it went bad or something. I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year.

We ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chicken Salad Wrap, Mini Tacos, and a Chicken Parm Sandwich. Both wraps were very stale, lacking in ingredients and flavor, and noticeably small in portion size. The Chicken Parm Sandwich also had stale bread -- I ended up just eating the cutlet and leaving the rest. The Mini Tacos were another letdown. They were mostly chips with barely any filling --.As for the fries, they were undercooked and soft. Have they changed the fries recently? They used to be much better. The only highlight of the visit was the friendly staff at the front. It's disappointing to see the quality slip so much at a place I've supported for so long. I truly hope this is not a new standard.

I ordered the package for 15 people and chose chicken Parmesan, penne rosa, wraps(just turkey and chicken salad), and garden salad. It came with rolls and utensils for serving. Staff were very nice and friendly and offered to help take to my car. My guests loved everything and so did I. The chicken salad wraps were a hit. If you think you may have leftover wraps ask to omit the tomatoes or for it to be on the side, as the wraps may become soggy after a day. This would feed more than 15 people. All came to under $200 which was fantastic!! I will definitely get catering from here again.

Drinks were also done well. This is a fine meal in a fine environment and a classic.
