    Shrimp basket

We were catching a Southwest flight home to Las Vegas, but had a little bit of time. We tried to sit at the bar, but the bar patrons definitely use up stools to put their bags on so we had no choice but to sit at one of the tables. The tables are Community seating with chargers for your electronics. Hopefully management sees this, and maybe tries to do something about freeing up the barstools from being luggage racks. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. We had a few cocktails. My spouse had the gumbo, which he said was very good. I had the shrimp basket. I was expecting an appetizer portion because of the low price, but was very pleasantly surprised when a full meal of fried shrimp, and french fries came out. The shrimp were fried, but very light. The french fries were insanely good. My spouse actually said it was the best french fries he has ever had.

We stopped by this spot before our flight back home. I had the red rice and beans with the fried chicken. The star of the plate is the rice and beans which comes in a large portion. You're given a chicken breast which is super tender and juicy. The edges of the breading were definitely a little dry though (which was odd). It was well seasoned, but I recommend a sauce on the side. We also had gumbo which is not pictured. It had a lot of rice in it which we didn't love. But the flavor of the gumbo was delicious. I wish it was thicker, but maybe real LA gumbo isn't? Someone let me know. The ambiance was... relaxed. It's an airport. BUT! They did play nice 80s and 90s R&B and Soul for a while. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable as well.

Service was decent. This is an airport so you have to take that in consideration but the gumbo roux was amazing. Tons of sausage in it too. Bloody Mary had okra and green beans which I thought was. Cool southern touch. The egg rolls were ok but I rarely eat fried so I think they were just heavy for me and also super cheesy. I found them to have a good amount of sausage. Oh this is in terminal b if that helps anyone.

The image shows an airport interior featuring a bar area with a curved bar counter and seating. Large windows on the right side let in natural light, illuminating the space. Several patrons are seated, some drinking and others dining, with a bartender behind the bar. The ceiling has a modern, grid-like design with black structural elements and integrated lighting. The overall setting is bright and spacious, typical of an airport lounge or bar area.

This place was near our departure gate so we decided to eat here before takeoff. Overall the food and drinks were decent. The seating was good and the ambiance was cool. The service was prompt, no major complaints.

Nice food. Slow service unless your at the bar. The royal STREET FIzz is a nice simple refreshing drink. The wings are 6 to a platter but tasty. And good flavor. Not too spicy Not good presentation they serve it on a plastic container

Pretty chill bar inside the MSY airport. Great service with a waitress walking around taking drink orders. Appears to be always crowded at the bars. Pretty good seating for the most part

A beverage in a tall, stemmed glass contains a pinkish-orange cocktail with ice cubes and a lemon wedge garnish. A blue straw is inserted into the drink. The glass is positioned on a white napkin on a dark bar counter. In the background, part of a person and a condiment caddy with various items are visible, indicating a bar or restaurant setting.

I walked up to this bar, mind you I am on vacation and I just turned 21. This lady asks what I want to drink and I tell her if I can have something sweet or see the menu... She then asks for my ID and she looks at it. She then says in a rude condescending tone that I am too young to drink??? I was caught so off guard and then she said even if you are 21 you still don't have to drink... I was such in shock I said that I'm not going to be served by her. I went to the other side of the bar and she goes up to my bartender and starts talking about me, and I keep hearing her talk about me. Do not recommend, horrible service... drinks aren't the best.

Nice looking trendy bar for the MSY Airport in New Orleans. It was close to where our gate was & I tried to get a glass of Pinot Grigio but they were totally out of both kinds. I got a mixed drink that tasted fine, not much alcohol though & was $19 with tip. The Sazerac is over $17 before tip. Obviously you pay a ton in airports. I did not order food.

Menu - The menu from Bar Sazerac in New Orleans features a list of cocktails and wines, with descriptions and prices. It includes drinks such as the Sazerac Cocktail, Bourbon Old Fashioned, Rye Manhattan, and various wines like Capolado Prosecco and Studio Rose. The menu is printed on white paper with black text, organized into sections for cocktails and wines, and provides details about each beverage's ingredients and pricing.

The Irish Coffee was OK. Needed whipped cream. I felt like I was drinking hotel coffee with a shot of whiskey.

This was the worse service I have had in my life. I hope New Orleans has more to offer. This Bartender Dilma walked right pass me to help a white woman. I said I am sorry I was here first. She didnt look at me but told me she was not working. I said you just rang up this lady and took her credit card. I said and I told you I was here. This is racist. She said I have black friends. Since when does having black friends make you not racist. That is a racist comment. I waited and spoke with general manager Sean Gavigan. I will follow up with an email. A new airport is nothing if you have the worst people working. It all defeats the purpose of being new. Do yourself a favor and eat before you arrive. She is horrible. This bar gets No Star but I have to push something. Classless.

Rudeness overload from the bartenders. The food is horrible and the music is way too loud. Do not stop here!!!!!

Assume I sat at bar a shift change, ordered my drink twice but never came after 15 mins. Finally moved on. This was a first here.
