The bartender seemed like she rather be anywhere else but the ambiance and close to my gate is why I stopped. Heard people raving about food.

We were catching a Southwest flight home to Las Vegas, but had a little bit of time. We tried to sit at the bar, but the bar patrons definitely use up stools to put their bags on so we had no choice but to sit at one of the tables. The tables are Community seating with chargers for your electronics. Hopefully management sees this, and maybe tries to do something about freeing up the barstools from being luggage racks. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. We had a few cocktails. My spouse had the gumbo, which he said was very good. I had the shrimp basket. I was expecting an appetizer portion because of the low price, but was very pleasantly surprised when a full meal of fried shrimp, and french fries came out. The shrimp were fried, but very light. The french fries were insanely good. My spouse actually said it was the best french fries he has ever had.

We stopped by this spot before our flight back home. I had the red rice and beans with the fried chicken. The star of the plate is the rice and beans which comes in a large portion. You're given a chicken breast which is super tender and juicy. The edges of the breading were definitely a little dry though (which was odd). It was well seasoned, but I recommend a sauce on the side. We also had gumbo which is not pictured. It had a lot of rice in it which we didn't love. But the flavor of the gumbo was delicious. I wish it was thicker, but maybe real LA gumbo isn't? Someone let me know. The ambiance was... relaxed. It's an airport. BUT! They did play nice 80s and 90s R&B and Soul for a while. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable as well.

Service was decent. This is an airport so you have to take that in consideration but the gumbo roux was amazing. Tons of sausage in it too. Bloody Mary had okra and green beans which I thought was. Cool southern touch. The egg rolls were ok but I rarely eat fried so I think they were just heavy for me and also super cheesy. I found them to have a good amount of sausage. Oh this is in terminal b if that helps anyone.

This place was near our departure gate so we decided to eat here before takeoff. Overall the food and drinks were decent. The seating was good and the ambiance was cool. The service was prompt, no major complaints.

Nice food. Slow service unless your at the bar. The royal STREET FIzz is a nice simple refreshing drink. The wings are 6 to a platter but tasty. And good flavor. Not too spicy Not good presentation they serve it on a plastic container

Pretty chill bar inside the MSY airport. Great service with a waitress walking around taking drink orders. Appears to be always crowded at the bars. Pretty good seating for the most part

Nice looking trendy bar for the MSY Airport in New Orleans. It was close to where our gate was & I tried to get a glass of Pinot Grigio but they were totally out of both kinds. I got a mixed drink that tasted fine, not much alcohol though & was $19 with tip. The Sazerac is over $17 before tip. Obviously you pay a ton in airports. I did not order food.

I walked up to this bar, mind you I am on vacation and I just turned 21. This lady asks what I want to drink and I tell her if I can have something sweet or see the menu... She then asks for my ID and she looks at it. She then says in a rude condescending tone that I am too young to drink??? I was caught so off guard and then she said even if you are 21 you still don't have to drink... I was such in shock I said that I'm not going to be served by her. I went to the other side of the bar and she goes up to my bartender and starts talking about me, and I keep hearing her talk about me. Do not recommend, horrible service... drinks aren't the best.

The Irish Coffee was OK. Needed whipped cream. I felt like I was drinking hotel coffee with a shot of whiskey.

This was the worse service I have had in my life. I hope New Orleans has more to offer. This Bartender Dilma walked right pass me to help a white woman. I said I am sorry I was here first. She didnt look at me but told me she was not working. I said you just rang up this lady and took her credit card. I said and I told you I was here. This is racist. She said I have black friends. Since when does having black friends make you not racist. That is a racist comment. I waited and spoke with general manager Sean Gavigan. I will follow up with an email. A new airport is nothing if you have the worst people working. It all defeats the purpose of being new. Do yourself a favor and eat before you arrive. She is horrible. This bar gets No Star but I have to push something. Classless.

There were so many things I wanted to try. I ended up getting the Jerk chicken with the confit on the side because I didn't want spicy and a side of fries. This was so good. As you can see. I cleaned my plate. I also tried other people's appetizers like the coconut shrimp and Jerk ribs... both were really good. I tried a taste of the bbq shrimp dish, which was also good. Lastly, I tried a slice of someone's steak. It was lacking flavor compared to everything else. Also, they brought out birthday shots and supplies for us to cut and pack the cake. The service was amazing. I'm definitely going back and im probably going to get the chicken again. Lol

I was really excited to try this placed based off previous reviews but they kind missed the mark…read morefor me. For appetizers we got the crab cake and the calamari. The crab cake AMAZING. By far my favorite thing we had. The calamari was over cooked and very rubbery to the point it was hard to chew. we did inform the server and they did remove it from our bill (we didn't ask them to, so that was nice of them). For entrees we got the Dominican ribs and the redfish. Red fish dish was very good. The ribs had good flavor but I think they were kinda overcooked as well and the mashed potatoes were cold. Service was okay. I am willing to give it another try but my first visit definitely could have been better.

Decided to stop here while waiting for our flight. We saw the name and figured it was a good place…read moreto eat. Once I came here to do my review I suddenly no longer felt alone in my disappointment. The service here is atrocious. I mean full on staff doesn't want to be here or work atrocious. So where do I begin! Let's start at the entrance. There's multiple areas with podiums where a host should be attending to seat you. They were all empty. We were standing in one spot as waitresses scuffled by, bartenders looked us dead in our faces but no one ever said a word. Then we noticed a small sign to go to entrance 11. We went and there was no one there either. Employees leaving brushing past you with no type of excuse me. Once again staff scuffling past and no acknowledgment. I mean how hard it is to say hey I'm leaving but I wanted to let you know there's some customers here? Someone will be with you in a moment or seating is over this way? I have to mention this disclaimer. I was not dining alone. My husband heard the food was good and he wanted to eat here otherwise they would have lost me at the very first point I wasn't acknowledged at the initial entrance. This place wasn't even crowded or very busy either. Now that I got that out of the way, eventually we were seated. Our waitress (that we didn't know was our waitress) walked by us multiple times without acknowledging us. After waiting 30mins my husband finally got up and went to find a manager. Then we finally got a waitress. We placed our order (which I didn't want to do at that point). We were leaving from a conference and extended stay to celebrate my husband's bday so I didn't want to be a party pooper ruining our time. I begrudgingly ordered the shrimp étouffée and he got the shrimp, po boy. They were both ok. Nothing to write home about or gamble with poor service over. Once the bill came we noticed he was charged for his club soda. First time for us but the manager said it's like getting a soda so they charge. You would think they would have at least took that off for the horrible service and making us wait 30 minutes to get it. NOPE! Bottom line as a business owner myself I would not want my name attached to this place. I'd shut it down before I'd allow my name/brand to be represented this way. Meanwhile as a consumer If they were the only place open in the air port I'd find a vending machine before I ever ate here again. It was the worst dining experience I had in New Orleans and I was there for 6 days. That should tell you all you need to know. lol!
