Rating: 9.5/10 Love this place and normally go thru the drive thru but I finally went inside. It's so nice! Lots of room and the bar area is clean. They also have a few slots and serve crawfish on certain days. You can tell a lot of people come thru. I had the medium mango and margarita mixed ($8) and it was delicious. The owner is super nice and gave me the scoop on some of the local action. I love supporting businesses like this. read more

Came with a friend after fireworks nearby the 3rd of July to let the traffic die down some. On the northeast corner of Veterans and where David drive and Power drive collide, in a small strip with a smoothie king and a beauty shop, this small corner shop is a cool place to sit for a bit and have an adult beverage or two. Many frozen daiquiris to choose from, and various sizes to include by the gallon and you can go thru the drive thru, which is cool. The server was friendly enough. They have karaoke on the weekend evenings. One pool table and a juke box are the entertainment all other times. The cost is equal to other places in the area. I was pretty let down that they shut down at 11 on the 3rd of July, but it was a week night this year. I got the gator bite and it did have a bite. My friend got the strawberry daiquiri and enjoyed it. There is plenty of parking. The front entrance does have 3 steps up, but there is a handicap ramp on the side. If I am in the area again, I will be back! Great little daiquiri shop. read more

This is a must stop drive through place on the way from the airport after picking up friends from the airport. My friends are always amazing that Louisiana sells drive through Jell-O shots and Alcohol. It's always a tourist favorite. I'm sure the waitress who always serves me remembers the car full of snapchat/IG phones pointed at her as she hands me my 10 Jell-O shots and 2 XL daiquiris. Everything I've ever ordered here has been very very good and very cheap. Every flavor I've tried has been delicious and the waitress has always been very patient with us and we decide on what flavor to get. We come here more for the novelty of buying alcohol rather than actually wanting drinks but this place has never disappointed. read more

I came on a Friday night. Was greeted at the door by the bartender. She was helpful with suggestions. They have a lot of unique mixtures to try. After I got my drink, I decided to sit inside for a bit. It was really cold, as they had the had the door open (50 degrees outside). I got the strawberry cheesecake (there are real strawberries in strawberry mix which was nice to know). I really didn't enjoy it. I asked them to mix some additional strawberry in the drink after taking a couple sips and trying to mix it up some more. Seemed like they were a little offended that I didn't like it. I was given an attitude about it, but they finally added some more. It tasted better, but I wouldn't try it again. FYI they have specials Mon-Wed, $6 daiquiris. read more

I found the GATOR BITE to truly be a BITE. love that you can order via the drive thru & you're able to get a 1/2 gallon. The server was friendly and informative. Cost/prices rival others in the area, in the ball park so to speak. For example, it's $24 for a gallon here and other places I've visited, it's a few dollars less. Located on the corner of Vets & David Drive in the parking lot near Walgreens & Big Lots; you'll find this little daiquiri shop, which I believe is LOCALLY OWNED & OPERATED. I didn't go indoors and I'm glad I didn't, the husky smell of cigarette smoke that wafted into my nose was enough for me. Even the cups smelled of cigarette smoke. But the daiquiri, GATOR BITE, was truly on point. One 10oz cup is enough to do the trick. Lots of flavors to choose from and the signage in the drive thru even lists the flavors and their contents. I look forward to returning to pick up adult beverages, so many flavors to choose from. read more

DO NOT GO HERE EVER! My friends and I LOVED this place. We were hanging out and wanted daiquiris. We drove all the way to Kenner from Jefferson for 4 medium daiquiris. There are at least 8 other daiquiri shops between here and there. We love this place though. My friend was denied service by Chelsea... Chelsea thought my friends ID was fake. It is her actual ID. She is 30 years old. Rather than asking for an additional form of ID or maybe quizzing my friend... she slammed the window shut in her face. So incredibly rude and unprofessional. UNREAL. THEN her backup/the guy working had to get aggressive with us too. Absolutely unbelievable. Literally the worst customer service. I WILL NOT be back. I will also earn as many people as possible to stay away from this place. So disappointing. read more

I have been coming here for a long time, and I love it. They have the best daiquiris- made with real ingredients and not overly sweet. And on the weekends there is karaoke with a variety of people. Older, younger, Asian, white, African American. There is certainly a diverse crowd here. It isn't huge and there is often not enough seating which is the biggest down fall. Its on the corner of vets and power blvd. The owner informed me that he makes his own daiquiri mixes and I can personally taste the difference. We got the same daiquiri a week later from daiquiri and creams and its night and day in quality.They have tons of flavors and he says he puts 70%alcohol in all of them except white russian has a little more. He also uses a mixer to blend 2 flavors together if you choose instead of other places that leave it up to you to mix it yourself. the prices are very reasonable. Visited Bayou's drive-thru for the first time the other day to grab a White Russian daiquiri. I'm actually surprised I haven't stopped here sooner considering it's pretty much around the corner from my house. The first thing I noticed was that they have a seriously extensive menu! While I considered trying something new ('Gator Bite' or 'That Thing You Do', anyone?) I decided to stick to what I came for- since it was my first visit after all. I ended up getting a small with an extra shot, and I was not disappointed at all! Prices were very reasonable, service was fast and friendly, and my drink was really yummy.. So yummy that I'm planning on visiting again today on my way home from work. Ummm YUM! These are the most delicious daiquiris I've ever had out of a machine. Yes the Jennifer B is correct the strawberry-chocolate (a mix) is delicious. My friend got the strawberry-margarita with an extra shot of tequila for a only a bit more. I've never used the drive through...mostly because the building confuses me. And the space is clearly a neighborhood bar for lots of folks. I just wish it wasn't so far away from my house...or maybe it's good that it's on the other side of town from me. read more

One of the best daiquiri shops around. The owner makes all of his mixes himself using real ingredients. They also have a limited beer selection and a stocked bar. Every Friday and Saturday night they host a karaoke night, which can be a lot of fun. A few drawbacks are that they don't have food and it can be very smoky. If karaoke isn't your thing, they do have a pool table and video poker as well and a couple tvs. Daiquiris are available through their drive through if you don't want to go in and they have sizes up to a gallon. read more

By far the most disgusting place I've ever been/worked. There is so much mold in the ice machine, it's even freezing in the ice along with the metal that is that is chipping off of the machine. That's just the beginning. "Is there something floating in your drink? I'm so sorry! Let me strain that out for you like the owner tells us to! Here's your drink! Come back and see us!" Nothing is sanitized, nor is anything washed with soap EVER! The sanitizer is there strictly for show for when the health department comes in. Everything is wiped down with Windex. Wow! How sanitary! There is mold growing in the cooler where the premade daiquiris are stored and spoiled milk caked up on the bottom of it. What kind of creature would you like in your daiquiri?! A roach? Maybe some ants? A mouse? They've got it all! So if you're in the Metairie/Kenner area, swing by and give them your money! read more

Best daiquiris ever! This is coming from an avid Daiquiris and Creams lover. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Daiquiris and Creams to all the other major establishments in the GNO area, but this place blew my mind on my first visit. The owner is super cool and friendly, and his daiquiris are heavenly. I had the Gator Bite, which is LOADED with three varying alcohol shots, including Everclear, but I couldn't taste a drop of alcohol. Made with real fruit and natural, delicious ingredients. How else should a trip to New Orleans conclude (especially during Mardi Gras), but with a drink from a drive thru daiquiri?! We stopped here on our way out of town, and it was tough to just pick one drink--all of the choices sounded good! I ended up going with some alligator drink that had pineapple and green something or other in it. (Not Midori). It was decent, but I'm not a huge fan of pineapple to begin with. It's all good though, our drinks were delicious, and even though the drive through was slow, we were set for our long drive back to Houston. read more

I have had a few issues with the drive thru by not being waited on quickly, so I just go in now to get my fix!! This is our fave place to get daiquiris in the city/suburbs. I like that it's a locally owned place and not one of the chains. The bartenders are always the nicest. If you go inside you will smell like a cigarette which is disgusting and this place's only downfall. But we haven't been disappointed by the daiquiris yet and we've been a bunch. Bartender working the window was super sweet & patient, as I'm very picky with my drinks. I hate sweet drinks. I always go for something strong & a bit tart. I had a large Kitchen Sink, which surprisingly wasn't strong at all. But their menu is extensive. I'll be back to try other daiquiris & again, the service was impeccable. read more
