Finally...good food in an airport. We got to the airport early because TSA had been having delays but not on this morning. So we had a seat and ordered Mimosas and Chicken and Waffles. I love, love Emeril's, at least I have in the past. This time, this was a pure downer. I only order the Gumbo - Lord, everyone in New Orleans can make gumbo - at least they should be able to. Howevever, when you are wearing the name "Emeril" you should be able to cook your azz off... Not so. I ordered Gumbo Yaya ($13.99); it was like water... anybody knows, a roux, is not watery. Then, it was so salty, I really could not finish. I was definitely hungry, so I ate about half; the salt was overpowering and I could not finish. Saw this spot on my way back home & decided to give it a try. It's PO Boys in New orleans how can things go wrong. I ordered it to go so i could eat it at my gate. I ended up dropping the 1st plate which should've made me realize that i should've let it go. But the food looked really good so i went back and re-ordered the same thing i had. I had the chicken Po Boy with fries. They put the sandwich upside down in the to go plates. I put my sandwich together and the chicken breast was perfectly cooked. They do gave you mayo packets. I was very excited to eat it. I took my 1st bite and was hit with major disappointment. There wasn't an ounce of seasoning on that sandwich which is crazy for new orleans. It seems like they just breaded the chicken and fried it. I can't lie it was cooked to perfection but it tasted like nothing. And there wasnt any sauce that was included to make up for the chicken being flavorless. The fries helped lessen my disappointment because they tasted better than the chicken po boy. Not sure if i was suppose to ask for salt & pepper. They also didn't have any hot sauce available. There was no saving that sandwich. The service was meehhh. She made no effort to be helpful. Be aware that sone items that Emeril is known for--such as shrimp & grits or etoufee--are no longer on the menu here as of 11/2025. Ordering is from a QR code, but the upside of the QR code and limited menu is that service is fast. Gumbo was decent. Green tomatoes were freshly fried and scalding hot, though the heat was a bit uneven, making me suspect they were reheated (excessively) or microwaved. This is very much an airport chain restaurant and not what made Emeril Legasse famous in the 1990s. read more

I personally don't hold airport food to the same standard as brick-and-mortars elsewhere, so with that in mind, Emeril's Table was actually quite decent. The real winner here is the service; my waitress was so kind in a really genuine way and it made my experience. You can order via QR code or server, but I opted for server because they were quite efficient and the reviews had me antsy about QR code method. I'm glad I did, too, because it seemed like the menu availability through QR was not updated. They didn't have a few items on the menu that I was hoping to order, like the etouffee, so I was pretty bummed. I wonder if it's a limited stock thing or if I just happened to flying out on an off day/time (it was Monday at like 3:00 PM). I just opted for the gumbo, which was a little saltier than my taste, but it didn't seem any saltier than all of the other I had during my time in NOLA (and I had a LOT). It was filling and had more rice in it than other gumbos did, which I appreciated. It's airport food with airport traffic. My boyfriend and I ordered to go here yesterday while waiting for our flight. We got a burger and a shrimp po boy, both nearly $20 and the wait was 30 minutes for to go. The rest of my family opted for bagel sandwiches next door which were half the price and came out within minutes. Come 4am this morning, we were both taking turns in the bathroom with waves of n/v/d. we paid $20 each and waited 30 minutes to get the worst food poisoning I've had in my adult life. And I can't help but think about the countless other poor souls waiting in that line for 30 minutes who are definitely in the same boat that we are in currently, suffering at the hands of under seasoned and overpriced food. Reading the reviews this is a mixed bag, as are many airport restaurants. This one is located at the end of the terminal wing. It has nice seating and did get busy during lunch. We were seated right away and struggled a bit to get out bags through the tight quarters of diners. But, once settled all was just fine. You order by the QR code and fortunately we looked at the online menu beforehand, but be forewarned that the QR options are less. I ordered the Pasta Jambalaya which was a large enough portion and quite delicious. The sauce, however, was a bit watery. My choice of a drink was a light draft beer and it went well with the dish. Service was good enough and actually pleasant as they were rushed with the number of people they serviced. Overall, an OK experience. Pricey, and that's to be expected. read more

Getting on a flight and needed something good to eat, this is the place to go if you have a few minutes/ hours to spare. I had the fried chicken and waffles and it was very good! The chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned very well too! The waffle was very airy and fluffy. The friend had the Emeril's table breakfast and she said it was very good. Service by Ms. Erica was terrific. Ambiance was nice. It was a fun and classy atmosphere. Prices were reasonable but on the more expensive side for airport restaurants. They offer food that includes Louisiana cuisine famous to the local area. Banana pudding is amazing! The caesar salad was tasty, but it is served with extremely heavy dressing. Next time, I would order the dressing on the side. Kids liked their pizza. This restaurant was very accommodating. They allowed the kids to do 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni on the cheese pizza they shared. Also cool, they offer some fountain sodas as well as some bottled sodas/beverages. Nice to have that choice. I stopped here to kill some time while waiting for my flight. I made a mistake by not reading the reviews first. I was greeted and seated promptly. I was advised to order using the QR code. I ordered a cheeseburger and a coke. The coke never came. The cheeseburger included a couple of pickles and some sauce. I asked for some lettuce and tomato to dress it up. I was given shredded lettuce and 2 slices of tomatoes. It was pitiful. I also had to ask my server for silverware. I passed so many other places I could have eaten. I'm genuinely disappointed. The appearance is nice but looks are deceiving in this case. I would not recommend. Save your money. read more

With a few hours of time to fill at the airport, I walked around looking for the best place to eat. With the Emeril association, I thought I had found a quality restaurant. All I wanted was a bowl of gumbo and a Bloody Mary. It wasn't packed with diners and it was well staffed but it took longer than it should to even be acknowledged. I placed my order and the food came quickly. No problem with the drink except that it was "no frills" After I had sipped 1/3, I found a piece of celery that had sunk to the bottom of the glass. Then the gumbo.... It had an abundance of rice. Ok. The gumbo.... It was sad. Very thick. I found three or four small pieces of sausage, no chicken. This was a busy place, so service was pretty slow. Once we had a server, though, she checked on us just enough - not too much, but not too little either. I had a salad and it was yummy (and huge). My colleague had a burger and she said it was pretty dry and tasteless, but her fries were great. Airport restaurants tend to be loud and this one was no exception. This is a nice spot to stop by while waiting for your flight. We both enjoyed our meals and had a great view of the runways, which added to the experience. Since it's located in the airport, expect a fair amount of noise from movement and announcements, but that's to be expected. We tried the Caesar salad and the fried chicken po' boy. While we've had better po' boys in the French Quarter, this one was fresh and tasty. That said, it could have used a bit more seasoning--I found myself adding salt and pepper. One thing to note: the restaurant is fully QR code-based for both the menu and ordering. If you prefer a physical menu, you'll need to ask for one. You can order and pay through your phone, but we still chose to communicate directly with our server and ordered from her. It was very busy when we were there, and we ended up spending about an hour and a half dining, which made us rush to catch our flight. The service was slow, and I suspect it's because they rely heavily on the QR code system, though I can't say for certain. We finally decided to sit down because every other place was packed. Kind of just took a table. The pizza is basically school cafeteria pizza but made fresh. The cheeseburger also meh. The po boys looked good, I should have tried that. The staff was friendly but the whole system is QR code menu, order and pay on phone now. What's the point of gratuity if they don't even do refills because it's by the bottle for water and soda and juice. We had a quick layover at the airport in New Orleans, saw this place, and decided to give it a try. Ordering was not convenient as you had to use a QR code and the menu was difficult to navigate. Plus there were no pictures to show you what you were getting. We chose the seafood combo with fried catfish and shrimp with a side of fries and cole slaw. It was HUGE! We could have easily shared this platter. Sadly, each of us had leftovers that went to waste. But it was very tasty and freshly fried to order. This truly pains me to give any business one star. We ordered some simple drinks to go and couple of bags of chips. I am really glad that I did not order any food from the menu. We waited about 30 minutes for vodka on the rocks, a few pinot grigios and a margarita. I would feel terrible if someone came to NOLA for a short business trip and had to leave in a hurry and really wanted to try some New Orleans food and end up having anything from this place. Granted, we did not have food but I cannot imagine how long we would have waited for even basic food. The ONLY saving grace to this place was the lovely hostess. She was so sweet! In fact, I hugged her neck on the way out because I could tell she felt bad about the experience we had.
