    Shrimp Poyboy

I was in the airport on a very long wait for a flight that continued to delay over and over again. I wanted to stop in and get a Po boy. You actually order online so there's no communication with the server however I wanted a still water and they did not have that by the bottle so I had to ask for it. The server brought it to me right away. The shrimp was really good as were the fries. The bread that the sandwich was served on was rubbery and almost hard. I had no luck cutting it with my knife. I did see other guests, picking it up and eating it with no trouble so maybe mine was just a little older than most of the others. It's in the airport so of course everything is a little bit pricey. I would probably choose something different the next time. It's a nice set up with a bar in the center and isn't too loud and keeps you separate from everyone in the boarding areas.

I love, love Emeril's, at least I have in the past. This time, this was a pure downer. I only order the Gumbo - Lord, everyone in New Orleans can make gumbo - at least they should be able to. Howevever, when you are wearing the name "Emeril" you should be able to cook your azz off... Not so. I ordered Gumbo Yaya ($13.99); it was like water... anybody knows, a roux, is not watery. Then, it was so salty, I really could not finish. I was definitely hungry, so I ate about half; the salt was overpowering and I could not finish. I am not one of those people who shy away from salt, despite my pressure..., but this was overkill. I should have stuck to having a martini and call it a day. When passing through NOLA again, this will not be a stop.

Years ago while vacationing in Vegas I had dinner a Emeril's restaurant. Food was amazing. Fast forward to today while at the New Orleans International Airport and right across was my gate, B11 I noticed Emeril's Table restaurant. Wasn't hungry but felt compelled to order something. Decided on the chocolate pecan bread pudding. The flavors simply weren't there and it also contained a weird aftertaste. I'd really like to trash it but will try to eat as much as I can so not to waste my money. Unfortunately I would not recommend.

Very good. Airport prices but I felt it was worth it. I had the Shrimp and Grits which came in a large bowl loaded with shrimp and Andouille sausage. I added some Tabasco and was very satisfied. Waitress was lovely.

Some damn killer wings and cold beer. Nice pit stop on my travels to refuel the belly. Service was fast and friendly.

I personally don't hold airport food to the same standard as brick-and-mortars elsewhere, so with that in mind, Emeril's Table was actually quite decent. The real winner here is the service; my waitress was so kind in a really genuine way and it made my experience. You can order via QR code or server, but I opted for server because they were quite efficient and the reviews had me antsy about QR code method. I'm glad I did, too, because it seemed like the menu availability through QR was not updated. They didn't have a few items on the menu that I was hoping to order, like the etouffee, so I was pretty bummed. I wonder if it's a limited stock thing or if I just happened to flying out on an off day/time (it was Monday at like 3:00 PM). I just opted for the gumbo, which was a little saltier than my taste, but it didn't seem any saltier than all of the other I had during my time in NOLA (and I had a LOT). It was filling and had more rice in it than other gumbos did, which I appreciated. It's airport food with airport traffic. I'm not going to expect a lot, and this at the very least met expectations.

Saw this spot on my way back home & decided to give it a try. It's PO Boys in New orleans how can things go wrong. I ordered it to go so i could eat it at my gate. I ended up dropping the 1st plate which should've made me realize that i should've let it go. But the food looked really good so i went back and re-ordered the same thing i had. I had the chicken Po Boy with fries. They put the sandwich upside down in the to go plates. I put my sandwich together and the chicken breast was perfectly cooked. They do gave you mayo packets. I was very excited to eat it. I took my 1st bite and was hit with major disappointment. There wasn't an ounce of seasoning on that sandwich which is crazy for new orleans. It seems like they just breaded the chicken and fried it. I can't lie it was cooked to perfection but it tasted like nothing. And there wasnt any sauce that was included to make up for the chicken being flavorless. The fries helped lessen my disappointment because they tasted better than the chicken po boy. Not sure if i was suppose to ask for salt & pepper. They also didn't have any hot sauce available. There was no saving that sandwich. The service was meehhh. She made no effort to be helpful. Overall, desperation doesn't even save this meal. I would've been better off picking a fast food spot.

Be aware that sone items that Emeril is known for--such as shrimp & grits or etoufee--are no longer on the menu here as of 11/2025. Ordering is from a QR code, but the upside of the QR code and limited menu is that service is fast. Gumbo was decent. Green tomatoes were freshly fried and scalding hot, though the heat was a bit uneven, making me suspect they were reheated (excessively) or microwaved. This is very much an airport chain restaurant and not what made Emeril Legasse famous in the 1990s.

Reading the reviews this is a mixed bag, as are many airport restaurants. This one is located at the end of the terminal wing. It has nice seating and did get busy during lunch. We were seated right away and struggled a bit to get out bags through the tight quarters of diners. But, once settled all was just fine. You order by the QR code and fortunately we looked at the online menu beforehand, but be forewarned that the QR options are less. I ordered the Pasta Jambalaya which was a large enough portion and quite delicious. The sauce, however, was a bit watery. My choice of a drink was a light draft beer and it went well with the dish. Service was good enough and actually pleasant as they were rushed with the number of people they serviced. Overall, an OK experience. Pricey, and that's to be expected.

Worst gumbo ever. The roux was way too light and it had no flavor at all. Nothing like the gumbo at Meril in the warehouse district. The poboy was good, but the corn remoulade served with it was odd.

    Chicken po-boy

Food was surprisingly good. I got the chicken po-boy and my companion got the cheeseburger burger. Nice steak fries, everything cooked properly. Service was great! Erica is a great server, friendly, and helpful. Ambiance: well, it's an airport so it's really nice considering that. Nice beer and wine selection too.

This is the airport location at MSY. Open and comfortable place to grab a meal or drink before a flight. Service was outstanding, even with the crowd. Prices are airport prices but not excessive. Had the chicken and waffles and they were good. Great waffle and the chicken had just a little kick.

Getting on a flight and needed something good to eat, this is the place to go if you have a few minutes/ hours to spare. I had the fried chicken and waffles and it was very good! The chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned very well too! The waffle was very airy and fluffy. The friend had the Emeril's table breakfast and she said it was very good. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was very good and nice music was being played in the airport. Overall it's a nice little breakfast spot and it's definitely a 10/10!

They were out of catfish so we left. That's lame for a Cajun restaurant, even in an airport

I'm glad I gave it another shot because this place was worth the return trip. The vibe immediately transports you to the Caribbean with colorful decor, island music, and a fun atmosphere. My foodie friend and I started with a couple of cocktails: the Caribbean Rum Punch and the Passion Fruit Piña Colada. Both were strong, refreshing, and definitely not shy on the rum. For appetizers, we ordered the Dominican Ribs, glazed with sweet chili, ginger, and soy. These disappeared fast and easily became one of my favorite bites of the night. I would come back just for the ribs alone! For entrées, we shared: Zydeco Redfish - Cajun grilled redfish topped with fried shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, Creole reduction, and veggies. The red fish was cooked perfectly and was the standout dish for me. Island Ribeye - A 13oz ribeye marinated in pineapple ginger soy, served with whipped sweet potatoes and pistachios. Great flavor with a nice island twist. And of course, we had to get a side of fried plantains because you can never go wrong with plantains. Great food, strong drinks, and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to check out their happy hour soon. Tonylameats Approved
