I ordered the red beans and rice which was delicious. I ordered at the order sign and then was told I could not sit at a table. Give me a break! They said I had to order at the counter around the corner and that those tables for the dine in customers they told me I could sit at a counter facing the kitchen. The glass was filthy. My table ordered shrimp and grits as mains versus appetizers, and it's plenty enough for an individual meal. There is tons of sauce and juice bringing lots of flavor to the dish and pulling it all together. The sausage was fantastic, so we're the grits. The shrimp were good. We also ordered a few glasses of wine. Some of the glasses were definitely shorted compared to others and for the ounces purchased. It was a little less busy than the other restaurants around this gate, so it worked out well. The service was quick and friendly. I wish the menu was slightly bigger, but I recommend this place and was very happy with the food! read more

Stopped for lunch since I had ALOT of time at the airport. Ordered to shrimp po'boy and it was really good (surprisingly for an airport place). The shrimp had a nice coating. Crisp and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. You didn't have to use the app to order and pay like so many are forcing you to do. Thanks for making my final meal in NO enjoyable. read more

Leaving New Orleans and want to get that those last bites of the local flavor in? Here you go!! I've always been a fan of Emeril. While this may not be the finest way to enjoy his food, it was pretty good! Not a lot of good food options in this terminal and to be honest, I didn't look at reviews before picking this place. I see the 2 and 3 star that were recent, but our experience was a solid 4. We were seated quickly and it was crowded. Due to COVID, they were short staff, but that didn't impact our visit. The service was fast, they were happy to have us and made us glad we were there! The menu was pretty simple (a few items for breakfast, starters, Po-boys, Pizza and Plates). I ordered the Catfish Po-boy, Ultra (in a can) and my GF had the shrimp Po-boy with Blue Moon. I'm not a fan of canned beer these days as I taste the aluminum as I drink from it (Guess my taste buds from my high school days grew up.). It was really cold and that made up for it. Besides, the food was out quickly and got my taste buds happy again. Appearance of the food was hidden in a container, but opening it, the colors and aroma kicked the mouth into drooling! A fry was being consumed quickly! The catfish was perfectly seasoned, fresh tasting with that wonderful full catfish flavor! It may not have been BAM! or kicked up a notch, but it was really, really great tasting catfish. The roll was great mix of springiness and flavor. Not bland, not dried out and not crumbly. The sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and beautiful pickle slices all complimented that amazing fish. Honestly, it was one of the better ones I had. The fries were good, nothing special, but none survived. My GF loved her Shrimp Po-boy as well. The price was about right for a terminal and again, we loved the food and service. Thank you Emeril! read more

I specifically came here because of the name Emeril. A few things I was disappointed with was the mobile ordering, which allowed no customization whatsoever. The burgers only came well done and there was no way to make it medium and even buy asking they said no. We ordered wings which were very good and a fried green tomato appetizer that was decent the shrimp. Poboy was pretty good but nothing exceptional. The burger was good not great and the jambalaya look like it was made with kids, macaroni and cheese twists. The food was OK but for them to have Emeril's name, I expected a little something jazzier and better. There were a few other really good looking restaurants at Louis Armstrong airport, and I would probably choose one of those next time and not come back. read more

Service has gone downhill. They question you why you would want a menu to hold to look at. I got the muffaletta pizza and it was just off. Parts were burnt to a crisp, others soggy. It is located at the end of terminal B in the airport and just tired. read more

Lotsa hate for Emeril's table where I have nothing but love to share with y'all. I had a nice vacation in New Orleans, saw dem gators, went to Cafe du Monde for a Beignet and dined at Emeril's (We saw him in the kitchen!) After the good times ended, I hailed an Uber and headed back to the airport. Once I'm pass thru all the check points and settle in, I'm hungry! I look at some of the restaurants and like a lighthouse guiding ships to port, I see Emeril's table. Now it's about 11am, I don't want anything too heavy but I see Shrimp & Grits. Grits? Breakfast-y for sure! Now mind you, we're in an airport. The tables are close together, there's luggage the waitstaff has to navigate, it's a dining clustermuck. The bright side, Emeril. The man can make some grits! My shrimp & grits were a brunchin', munchin' grit lovin' bowl of dreams. It had a cheff'd up preparation, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the grits were not instant! Hey, Emeril don't play when it comes to grits. If you're in the New Orleans airport and want a good meal, try Emeril's table. read more

Not bad, but not what you see Emeril making on TV Crawfish etouffe was ok, but prob mass produced because there's no other way to keep up with the demand at the airport. The fried catfish fingers were excellent, crispy cornmeal coating, hot and super tender. The slaw was ok but the tartar sauce was definitely blah, more like just mayo, not fresh/house made (and not traditional tartar with herbs etc) so pros and cons with everything. You had to order thru the QR code but the server came by a couple times to check in so that was great. Quick service, overall pretty good for the airport. read more

Emeril has a great reputation for high quality food and standards. So when I saw this restaurant in the airport I had high expectations. The decor seemed up to par, but as I read the reviews I was very skeptical about the food I would receive. However, with a long wait in the airport and a late arrival to my home airport I took a chance. I initially wanted a salad. Unfortunately there is only 1 salad option and it had horrible reviews. So I instead decided on the burger.. also horrible reviews. I noticed the pizza oven, and figure pizza is hard to mess up, especially in a wood fire oven, right? Wrong. The pizza was served in a to go box since we were about to board the plane, and I appreciated that it came out quickly although the server said the kitchen had been backed up - but those are the only positives. Even hot, the cheese was so thick I could barely separate the pieces and it was horrible to chew. Despite being cooked in such a hot oven, the crust was soft, extremely undercooked. It was horrible. Definitely not the best pizza I've had. I ate about half of it because I was so hungry but I didn't enjoy it at all. Can't say this is something I would expect from someone with a reputation like Emeril, especially based on the reviews that others have left. If I'm ever in Louis Armstrong again I'd probably try something else. read more

We had a long day (almost 8 hours) at the airport due to some mechanical issues with our plane and needed to eat dinner so this restaurant was right across from our gate. So glad that we ate here! I was not expecting much from airport restaurant food since it is always way overpriced but we got the fried chicken po boy sandwiches and they are HUGE! Had to cut the fried chicken up to be able to take a bite and the steak fries were plenty and very tasty. The price was better than typical airport restaurant pricing at 18.50/sandwich. We also ordered wine but of course that was typical airport restaurant "over"pricing. Service was great as well. read more

It's in the New Orleans Airport. Nice bar and food is a step up from airport food. The Gumbo has good flavor but watery. The fried green tomatoes are very good the shrimp is just shrimp. No spice. All in all it's good for a airport after a busy day. Didn't have time to eat at a local place. Quick in and out!!!! read more

I was heading out of town and was looking for a tasty meal while waiting for my flight to depart. Being a born and bred New Orleanian, I've been to all of Emeril's local spots with the exception of this one, and love them all. I understand that there used to be a very low bar set at most airports, but I feel like things have changed somewhat in recent years, so I was expecting a lot from an Emeril's restaurant. I was very let down. The two stars are for service. The staff was attentive and friendly, and I have no complaints in that department. The food, however, was a different story. I ordered a simple grilled chicken Caesar salad. The chicken had to be precooked, as it tasted like cardboard and had a rubbery texture. The dressing was just meh, and the croutons seemed to have come out of a SureFine bag from the grocery. I was hungry so I ate it, but I won't be back. And please don't get me wrong - I'm a HUGE Emeril's fan. This place is just a miss. read more

Outstanding Long Island Iced Tea. Flying out of New Orleans and at the very end of terminal B is this great little bar near gates B10-B15. The bar tender, Lawanda, was just delightful and she poured a Long Island that would win awards. If you're at New Orleans International this is the bar to go to. Great service. Better drinks. Conveniently in ear shot of many of the gates. read more

On the way home from leaving NOLA, the airport had this Emeril's Table location in the terminal. Wasn't hungry at the time, but decided to grab a quick beer while waiting for the flight home. There were a good amount of people that were seated in the restaurant area, enjoying their food and drink. Upon arrival, I almost did not get in because they were about to close and weee not letting in any more patrons. However the hostess let me in since I was only grabbing a beer. From my perspective, this is your typical in-terminal food choice/location, the same as many other food choices that are available. The staff was friendly, but they were majorly behind on orders and did make that known. So they were running around pretty briskly, to try to catch up and get food orders and drink orders completed. LOL! I would be willing to give them a try on the next go round upon departure from NOLA. read more

The service was nonexistent. I sat at the bar for a good 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me. I tried to use the qr code but it didn't work. Once I finally could make eye contact with a bartender to let them know I was running into an error, three of them literally turned away from me. It was one of rudest things I've ever experienced. MSY uses the names of well-known local chefs and restaurants to market many of its airport concessions ― with a varying degree of relationship. Some (Ye College Inn, Angelo Brocato) clearly seem more connected than others (Dook's Burger, Bar Sazerac). The two largest establishments at the ends of the twin concourses ― Folse Kitchen in Concourse C and Emeril's Table in Concourse B ― serve similar menus of po'-boys, sandwiches, and salads the former with a cafeteria setting, and the latter with a faux-wood-burning (and apparently only decorative) pizza oven. Ordering is done entirely through QR code; don't even try to ask the bartender for a beer as one lady did. You gotta use your phone. My bowl of gumbo was attached to a previous order that had yet to be cleared out, so it's not exactly foolproof. As for that gumbo, it was decent, with a properly dark roux, good andouille, and flavorful chicken pieces. But the bowl (rather small for $10+) was heaped full of rice, so much so that the gumbo was pretty much just gravy for this mound of rice. Anyone from Louisiana knows that's a no-no. Had they proportioned it correctly, they'd have had another star. Was this just sloppy work on the kitchen's part? Or are they piling up the rice to cut back on and stretch out the more expensive gumbo? Either way, it's not good. read more

I had some gumbo nothing exciting about it, there was a tiny bit of meat in there. The flavor was good and I hit the spot after I eat I felt like I was being hugged. But there wasn't much options on the menu at least none that I was happy with or like too much but this was satisfying. read more

Underwhelming, but it is an airport restaurant. My husband and I ordered the nachos....they were....okay, but far from the best I've had. There was a bit of a sweet flavor I didn't care for. Thought Emeril's name would lend some class to the food, leaving New Orleans on a positive note. Wrong. Crawfish Etouffee - viscous one-tone slop in a bowl. Overpriced. Shrimp and Grits - at least there was more than one color tone, so we could distinguish the difference between ingredients. It was all too expensive for the low quality. Service was pleasant. read more

There were only 3 restaurants in the terminal we were flying out of here at New Orleans airport. We chose Emeril's because we figured that since it had the name of former Food Network royalty Emeril Lagasse on it, it should be good. We were wrong. We each ordered a bloody mary. They were, hands down, the worst we've ever had, tasting nothing like a typical bloody mary. They also contained little discernible alcohol. My husband had enjoyed the gumbo he had on Bourbon Street the day prior, so he ordered the gumbo here at Emeril's hoping it'd be somewhat comparable. Wrong again. It was a flavorless, watery soup and was nothing close to authentic gumbo. It was also served in a paper cup with a paper lid rather than in an actual bowl. The pizza we ordered and shared was passable, but it was served with disposable plates and cutlery. The worst part is that even though everything we ate and drank was sub-par and came served with disposable plates and cutlery akin to a cheap takeout spot, nothing we had here was inexpensive. This restaurant should be avoided for sure. read more

This meal was ok at best, not of the Emeril brand that I've had before. The lunch menu, although typical for airport fare, disappointed me. Stopped by here for lunch before our flight and the food was good. The service however was just as bad as the Brassiere at Caesars

Well it is ok, I am not a fan of eating a meal on plastic with plastic utensils, especially not at an Emeril's restaurant. So I asked for a burger, no burgers. I asked for a shrimp pasta dish, no pasta dish. I asked for shrimp to be added to the Salad, no substitutions. So red beans it was. The Red beans were fine nothing exciting, I had to add salt and pepper. It was a good size portion at least. The Red Beans didn't satisfy me so I ordered a pizza and asked for onions to be added and I was told " I don't think we have onions". Really?? The drinks were fine 20$ each. The place was dirty again or still, not sure which, see pics. The menus were very dirty- gross! Service was okay not really bad, but not good either. I just don't think I will spend another $80 here for 2 drinks, pizza and red beans. Love you Emeril, but this is not even close to your standards! read more

I arrived over an hour before boarding and decided to have a sit-down breakfast. The hostess stand was unmanned and a large group of at least three different parties were left waiting for over 20 minutes (in an airport where schedules matter). I counted at least five open and bussed tables with at least half a dozen open spots attached he bar and counter, do space was not an issue. I realized we were left waiting for so long because they just didn't want to serve us breakfast. So they kept us waiting outside the restaurant with no attendant for the duration of a normal airport meal because they didn't want to flip some eggs. The excused used was that it was hectic and the employee seating us was "alone." This was untrue because we saw at least one other hostess and a manager checking the hostess stand (without acknowledging the growing line of customers). When we were finally seated we had to order off the touchless menu. After three attempts to place the order I finally saw a human server and asked for her help. I got a one word answer and she rushed away. The online ordering finally (miraculously?) worked after another half dozen attempts as I was waiting for the server to reappear...which she never did. The food finally arrived about ten minutes before boarding and it was wrong. The manage just put on the table and walked away. I called to her to point out the mistake and she ignored me and kept walking. I actually had to raise my voice to just shy of yelling volume before she actually acknowledged me. THE MANAGER'S response to my incorrect food was to tell me she would send the aforementioned absent server. She, apparently, already knew what they had done wrong and brought out the correct order. The food itself was standard airport fare. None of Emerils's signature BAM! The burger was plain and slightly overcooked, the fries were slightly soggy on the outside and undercooked inside and the remoulade sauce was next to tasteless. I tried dipping my fries in it just make sure and, yes, it was just as bland as I thought it was on the burger. It goes without saying all I wanted was some eggs, sausage and coffee and that was too tall of an order for this restaurant. I would not recommend to anybody...try to eat before coming to the C gates because you'll only be disappointed. read more
