This is one of the worst airport restaurants in the airport. The staff acts bothered with you for ordering. They act like you should know when they are out of certain items as if you can read their minds. It's an extremely disappointing experience especially considering it's one of the largest restaurants in the airport. I know if Emeril cares but I'd take my name off this place if I was him. Food was good though. Too bad the service ruined the experien read more

What a shame to have such an iconic name as "Emeril" attached to such pedestrian ( and typical) airport food. Perhaps the Shrimp Po Boy could have spices? Perhaps the template could be pointed out, rather than buried under the fries. Perhaps the bread could be something other than hogie rolls gleaned from a Subway. Perhaps the drink machine would work. Total disappointment. No "perhaps" about eating here again. read more

I didn't get enough seafood while in New Orleans, so naturally this was the best option for me while at the airport. There aren't too many sit-in choices at MSY airport. I was at the B-wing, mostly for American Airlines flights. Honestly, we came around 2PM and our flight wasn't until 3:40. Kids and I were hungry. I wasn't expecting a full-blown experience or food. I (gulped) had to ignore the average 2.3 star rating on here and just went with it. I ordered the catfish po'boy, kids had the pepp pizza. They liked the pizza, crust was soft. Surprisingly, my sandwich tasted really good! Fresh fish (or at least it tasted like it). read more

What a pleasant surprise to find this Emeril's Table restaurant in the Louis Armstrong airport in my favorite city of New Orleans. The chicken was seasoned to perfection! Waffles had an extra bit of sugary crunch. It was all amazing. Build in time before that flight out to eat here! Well worth it. read more

Emeril’s Table - Chicken and waffles - Seafood Near Me - Kenner, Louisiana

So first off I'm from New Orleans so I am familiar with the cuisine. This is your typical fast foodish tourist rest to catch the last few dollars before they leave. Food was good but again it's not what you expect from a place with this name sake. But let's get to the crux of the problem. Why don't they just hire robots? The service un-attentive at best. 0 customer service. You have to order through their app so runners bring out the drinks, food etc. When sitting at a bar I expect better. Maybe a friendly how are you doing, would you like another drink, is that all for you. There are other locations at MSY so off I go to try those. And yes I fly frequently. read more

Be sure to check AND believe the reviews bc I failed to. This food is gross especially compared to all the great things we've tasted while in Nola. I tried the chicken wings and the red beans. Both weren't seasoned at all. I had a few bites and left it...not worth the calories lol! read more

Awful. Service is basically nonexistent, you order through an app and have food and drink runners bring your order to you, no check back, not much interaction at all, they just drop your food/drinks and that's it until you order more...on the app The food was nothing special with limited options. In fact the chicken tenders were gross and I ordered them as a "safe" option. No sauces for them either. Somebody next to me ordered a burger that was in the shape of a hockey puck that he didn't even finish. Just a complete waste of $60+ dollars plus a tip honestly read more

What a complete whiff. Staff CLEARLY does not give one flying metric rip. I literally sat here over a half an hour, before anyone took a drink order, let alone food. I even sat here, conspicuously making eye contact with staff... not like I was still perusing any menu. No rips given. I'm actively trying to give your business money. She doesn't give one flying rip. Food was then nothing to write home about. What a total disappointment. read more

I frequently visit MSY since I have family in Louisiana. When I fly Southwest or American home and I'm looking to sit down for dinner beforehand, Emeril's is one of my favorite picks. They serve local Cajun fare on the menu and as someone who has had a lot of it in my life, it hits the spot, even for airport food. It's usually pretty easy to get a table or spot at the bar because of how big it is, which is also nice since many of the other dining spots are very small and don't have a lot of seating. read more

On my last few minutes in town I was able to scarf down some "authentic" New Orleans cuisine by ordering the take out window. Got the fried sampler which came out in a few minutes in time for me to scarf it down and bore the flight in point. Very tasty fried catfish and fried shrimp that seemed fresher than some other take out in the French Quarter. They also had take out alcohol. The tequila in a can came in at a little over $10 after tax while the fried sampler ran over $20. read more

Service was very good, but the food was blah. I had the jambalaya pasta. It was boring and bland even though loaded with shrimp. Disappointing and not worth the calories. The setting in the airport is quite nice, though. read more

Waited for Service. Tables, dirty staff rude and gave themselves a 20% tip when asking for help on using the app to pay after providing no service. read more

Perhaps the worst airport restaurant. The server has to open your tab and you order via a QR code. This is great idea but the server has to open your tab before you can order. The server in our section saw us, served people next to us, and still didn't open our tab. We had to find the hostess who then scolded the server in front of us. It took 15 minutes or so for this. But it wasn't just us. Numerous other people had the same issue. It's either the hostess or they don't have a system for letting the server know to open a tab. The food is uninspired. Everything is deep fried except the caeser salad and turkey wrap. I had a turkey wrap because the "better for you" items advertised are non-existent. It was the most uninspired turkey wrap ever. Turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, an artichoke section (not even a whole artichoke heart) and a sauce that seemed like mayonnaise with some spices all in a plain old tortilla. And it was $18.49. Next time I fly through here, I'll try out Dook's or eat before I get to the airport. read more

The staff are very polite, attentive, and helpful with good speed of service. However, with the name Emeril's attached to it, I would've expected po boys with more flavor. They give you plenty of food and it's a decent price but there's just no spice to the food. read more

If crawfish are not available or seasonal, please let the customers know. I ordered crawfish nachos, and paid $20 for chips and queso, basically. Because, the order was to go, it was too late to prove the point or show the few minuscule "crawfish" that were hiding. I expect more from an Emeril establishment. read more

We tried to eat there multiple times (3 times this year flying through MSY), and the first time, they weren't taking orders (to be fair it was during the busiest time during Taylor Swift concerts). The second time they were closed, and the most recent time we FINALLY got seated, just for them to say they didn't have the chicken and waffles (which were featured on the menu), so we left. We really wanted to eat here but It was kind of ridiculous that we were dedicated and returned time after time, and yet, we still got turned down. read more

I'm shocked Emeral puts his name on this place. Ever had microwaved bread pudding? Try putting praline sauce on a foam pillow. Otherwise, out of all but two draft beers, most entrees, and only one dessert. Service was so-so. Guess they just don't care. No BOOM! Just fizzle! read more

When you think of Emeril's food you don't think of the food that was delivered to our table. We ordered the catfish as an app and it came fried well, and tasting great, however it was served with a coleslaw that was warm. Any mayo based food should be stored in a 40* refrigerator or bacteria can grow. While I don't have a food thermometer, I can tell you the salad was warm and I wasn't taking any chances. My husband ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza which sadly the thin crust came mushy and was inedible. He ate the top only. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It came soupy. Literally soupy. The grits were swimming in an orange liquid that couldn't be called a roux or a gravy or a jus. I didn't eat it. Finally I decided to order French fries. I thought it was a safe bet. Nope. Not unless you love greasy old fries. This place may have Emeril's name, but it certainly doesn't serve food Emeril's would serve if he knew his name was associated. I'm 100% certain he wouldn't eat at the restaurant that bares his name. If it was possible to give no stars, this would be the place to do it. Final last words to this meal...yuck. read more

Why hasn't this app been updated to give zero stars? We didn't expect much from an airport restaurant and yet this still disappointed. We got the crawfish nachos which had a lot of jalapeños and olives but almost no crawfish and cold congealed cheese. We sent the nachos back and the waitress had no recommendations or apologies. She only returned to clear our appetizer plates and we had to request the check. When we got the check my husband's mule was charged at $21, when he pointed out that the menu said it was only $12 her answer was "well I brought you a double", he didn't ask for a double. She fought him on how she charged him versus what he asked for. It felt like a scam and really bad service. Would never recommend coming here. Gina was definitely more concerned with raising the bill over giving good service. Emeril should be embarrassed his name is on this establishment. When my husband who is usually mild manner had to yell to get his point across, there is something wrong. read more

Emeril should really be embarrassed to put his name on this food. I ordered a fried shrimp po boy and it is THE worst food I have had in my five days here. Worst meal we had in New Orleans by far. In fact, I want my money back. Shame on Emril for putting his name on this overpriced airport dive.

Not a fan. I booked here and was kind of pumped about trying it out. We had a 6 top on a Friday night. It had all the makings of an excellent night. Great group. The atmosphere was a little stiff, but quiet. We kind of got seating in that slim area to the left of the bar. Seating over here kind of feels more isolated relative to the main dining area. Server was nice. No complaints. Good guy. Food was pretty decent. I'm not sure how Emeril's describes it but I'd call it contemporary American/Louisiana. Or maybe I'd just call it fancy food. It was very decent. If you're like me, you cannot help but compare the new Emerils to the old restaurant. Totally different vibe and fare. The new place feels a little stiff. It's like someone sucked all the fun energy out of the space. I might try Emerils Table one more time before it closes. read more

The food was decent. It's in an airport and even though Emeril's name is on it, I wasn't expecting perfection. I had shrimp and fries, again, decent. The issue here was the service. I had to flag someone down to get seated, had to flag someone down to order, and had to flag someone down to pay. Not once did anyone check on me during the time I was there. read more

The food was awful , we expected Emerils level of service, unfortunately we didn't get it . The price point was elevated and the food did not match it . I would not go again . I think Emeril would be disappointed read more

Beyond ridiculous. Emeral's has adopted one of the ordering apps popular among airport establishments. Not great. Whatever. But...If I walk up to a restaurant that is 1/4 full and am told there is going to be a wait for a table, otherwise I can sit at the bar, and I'm doing the waiters job for them, you've lost the plot. Couple that with a bartender that insisted we only order through the app, rather than...you know, take an order and serve a drink, and I'm done. Garbage system for a business too damn cheap to hire staff. read more

Located inside the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International airport, you can find it all the way by terminal 1. My fiance and I arrived early in the morning for our flight back home in December 2021. Since we didn't have breakfast at our hotel, we were hungry and had time to sit down anywhere before waiting to board. We thankfully found this place that has a bar in the middle and lots of TV's. We had a very friendly waitress who informed us that they were taking the last orders of breakfast food. We both ordered the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich with potatoes. I had orange juice and he had a Bud Light. He also added sausage to his meal. The food was delicious! We were so happy that we were able to leave with a happy, full tummy. :) I recommend coming here to eat if you're looking for good food close by to your flight. read more

So the airport just opened and I had a long wait . Wanted to grab 1 last poboy. Sat at the bar and you can see the kitchen. Let me tell you this looks like a quality kitchen. I've never seen this in an airport. They have some good local craft beers on tap. Looking over the menu the prices are not bad at all. I've been to Emirls in NOLA and I've been in airports a lot. These prices were much better than I would expect for either. I got the poboy and fries and it was good. Nice real not frozen breaded shrimp and fries. Bread was spot on. Shrimp were fresh and could tell they were not from a box. I wish I had time to try more. Overall it felt a lot like fine dining in an airport. The staff was very professional in a fine dining way. I highly recommend. read more

It's what you would expect from an airport restaurant. It's a restaurant in the middle of an airport, they tell you how long it will take to make your food if you ask, and you eat it quickly and then board your plane. I ordered the fried catfish. That was pretty tasty. Not a bad stop just before a flight back to Los Angeles. read more

Airport restaurants rarely have good food, but because we had a relatively long time before boarding our flight, we stopped in for Edwyn to get a light snack and to grab some cocktails. The highlight was that our bartender was from Paris, so we both had the opportunity to speak French with one another. Edwyn liked his gumbo, and I of course loved being able to speak the most beautiful language in the world with a native Parisienne. What a wonderful way to end an already spectacular trip to one of the most special places in the world. I hope that the couple we met are enjoying themselves in Ireland. read more

Located right by many of the gates for American Airlines, this is a nice addition to an already beautiful new terminal at the New Orleans airport. The restaurant is nice an open with a large bar to sit at and grab a drink or bite to eat before getting on your plane. The bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With only 30 minutes left before boarding our plane, we were able to get a drink and a po boy in time. The Pimms cup we had was excellent and had really good flavor to it. Nice lighter drink choice when you've been eating and drinking all weekend. The shrimp po boy was excellent, and rivaled ones you can get in the French quarter. The shrimp were larger than most places and had a cornmeal coating which was a nice change. The creole mayo really made the sandwich pop with flavor. I'd consider this more of a traditional po boy, as it was dressed with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Nice meal, drinks, and service for only having a little time left before the flight. Would definitely stop here again on future visits to NOLA. read more

I can't believe Emeril would associate his name with this place. Granted, how good can a restaurant be an airport but this was atrocious. From the confused staff greeting us and unsure where to sit us with 1/2 the tables available to the waitress asking us to review the menu with a nonexistent QR Code. The wine we wanted was not available. They brought the wrong beer and when we asked for a club soda, it was suggested we grab the bottle of decorative sparkling water on the table. Fortunately, when we got up from the table and walked to the bar they were able to accommodate our unusual request for soda water. Only the food was worse. The wraps were cold, stale, and had no flavor. It looked like they ran to the MSNBC store and got it from one of those plastic containers you grab a wrap from when you have three minutes to catch a flight. The French fries were very good. Hence, the 2 stars. Make sure you grab food elsewhere before eating at this Nola "staple." read more

Before my flight back to Dallas, I decided to explore the new food places that were added to MSY. I was really excited to see all the nice restaurants, because it was definitely a step up from the old Louis Armstrong Airport.
