Terrible service, I wait for my food like 40 min, when I ask for my orden she didn't send the order

Staff was just rude. We just wanted a nice spot to sit and eat while we wait for our plane. Constantly coming up to us to check if we ordered as we're actively looking at the menu. The manager also does not invite a friendly atmosphere as he brings up your order. As for the food, it could use a lot more seasoning, we had to add salt, pepper, and hot sauce to our shrimp and grits and it did not make it anywhere close to worth 23.79! read more

My first visit was about 3 weeks after the airport opened and the bartender was slow & marginally competent despite having a small crowd during breakfast hours. As usual, there were outages on the menu and in this case my breakfast sandwich was supposed to come on a roll but they were out so they put it on a croissant (which somehow appears to be the only bread in plentiful supply at the New MSY). It was a good, if overpriced breakfast sandwich and on a subsequent visit I had a pretty good duck pizza but I've only seen one good bartender here across multiple visits and he was good despite also trying to train someone else while he worked. On the good side, there's a large bar so you can fit a lot of people which is key since Emeril's Table is located at the end of the American terminal and has a bunch of gates surrounding it. There are also quite a few tables, though the setup is a bit strange with a bunch of wasted space between the bar and the kitchen and you feel like you're invading the restaurant's space if you walk from one side of the restaurant to the other. Overall, the menu looks decent and like every other place at the airport they apparently need more time to get things up to par on inventory & service. We'll see... read more

Anybody awarding less than top rating must have attended the opening of this new airport with all the challenges. That was two months ago! This is one of the best airport bars & restaurants in the country, and a big reason is THE PEOPLE that this outfit attracts, hires, and retains. Special mention for Jacqueline, the bartender you will recognize because her gigawatt smilie is ALWAYS ON! She's a local who graduated from the culinary arts high school program that Emeril himself started. Suggestion for visitors arriving to New Orleans: saunter over to Emeril's bar to see if Jacqueline's tending! Order a touchdown drink and ask her for restaurant suggestions...or on your way out, have a takeoff drink to review your restaurant experiences & take notes for next time! Was our first time dining here because we were close to the gate. Line and hostess seating took way too long. Almost 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated they have menus and ordering options online with your phone. Felt bad because their was a senior couple seated nearby and they had no clue how to screenshot the menu and order online. This may not be the best way because not all humans are trained in proper phone usage. Bring back the waitress/waiters. Drinks came out fairly fast. Once we made our order online we started with the fried green tomatoes. Very good and would get them again. I had a shrimp poor boy. Was delicious and would order this again. I liked the fact there were outlets at the table on the wall to work on your laptop or charge your devices. What I didn't like was the dust and grease collection on the common areas. This place needs a good overhaul of sanitary deep cleaning. Then make it a point to keep it clean. Most humans come here because of the name and reputation of Emeril! I was looking for a more traditional breakfast in the B concourse and the menu at Emeril's piqued my interest. I was seated promptly and the server came to get my order. It's a small breakfast menu, but good options. I settled on coffee, biscuits and gravy and eggs. The coffee was good, albeit standard. I was impressed with the biscuits and gravy. Good bacon flavor, creamy gravy and griddled biscuits. I really couldn't stop eating them! Eggs were cooked well. Overall a good experience. I ordered the catfish fingers which were delicious. I would order them again...they came with some sort of sauce and slaw. While I didnt eat the slaw, the sauce was delicious as well. I think there was about 5 catfish fingers. The service was a bit slow, including drink refills. I had plenty of time to catch my flight, but if one were pressed for time, and i would expect that most travelers want to get in and out quickly, this would probably not be my first choice. read more

The food is fine, but stars deducted for other reasons: I chose this restaurant because their website menu, and yes, THIS Emerils, offers muffuletta pizza. It's not on the actual menu. They need to keep the website menu up to date. Speaking of menus, you have to scan a QR code and order on your phone. This leaves no room for nuance. For example, they offer Caesar salad and Cobb salad, presumably full portions, judging by the price. The Caesar salad comes with CHICKEN, no ifs ands or buts about it. If you want a normal Caesar salad I suppose you could put that in the special instructions, but then, does that lower the price? And you can't order a side salad. Or tea! Not very clean. Service almost nonexistent. Zero ambience (that's how you spell it) unless you like glaring sunlight and rap. Airport extortion. I foolishly stopped by Emeril's Table without consulting Yelp. I won't make that mistake again. I sat at the bar and had an IPA ($10) and a gumbo ($10). The gumbo (and everything coming out of the kitchen) was served out of to-go containers. I'm not sure if it's some BS COVID excuse or what, but you could see the disappointment on people's faces as their $20 salad arrived at their table in a plastic container. My minuscule portion of gumbo was flavorless and thin. The staff was friendly and efficient and the restaurant itself is airy and welcoming, but I'd skip Emeril's. read more

Very quick service and reasonable prices especially for in the airport. Amazingly good food. I had the seafood platter which was better than the fancy restaurants near the Jersey shore. Fries were perfectly done & the coleslaw was good enough for me to request more. The pasta & jambalaya was so yummy, I kept sneaking tastes from my husband's bowl. As usual I'm flying back home looking for breakfast. The sign states see hostess for seating, I stand by the sign for 5 mins before she looks up from her phone to seat me. I get seated at the bar and the barkeep walks around not speaking. When she finally gets to me I asked to order breakfast she tell me it's too late breakfast is over. I stated well if you would taken my order 15 mins ago I would make the cut off time. After fun at placing my order the food was hot and delicious. Drink was ok. This is such an odd restaurant. It's in front of ~10 gates, and when I sat down they told me they're not making pizzas. Which was strange, considering half their menu is pizza. But whatever, it's fine, I ordered a burger. I was told they're only making burgers well done. Again, strange... but whatever I'm hungry and I don't care that much. When the burger arrived, the bottom bun was scorching hot but all else was warm. The cheese hadn't even melted yet. The burger was definitely frozen and had been heated up, and the cheese was definitely Kraft or some other equally disgusting faux cheese brand. The fries were actually good, not too salty and were crispy. Also, and I get this is covid so they're using disposable plates and silverware... but it's all styrofoam. We had the sausage breakfast sandwich that came with fried potatoes. It was around 5am. Compared to other airport offerings, the sandwich was better than most. I definitely would encourage them to add some sort of condiment to the sandwich, without it can be very dry. It's hard to believe that will Emeril's expertise he hasn't already made this determination. The potatoes were delicious! They appeared air fried- not greasy at all! The service was wonderful, friendly and prompt. This was shocking because the young lady working was covering the greeting, seating, order taking, serving, drinks, clearing tables and check out for all tables and the bar seats by herself. She had a manager that you could see watching from the back area, without offering any assistance. This little lady was a powerhouse of an employee, making sure the experience was excellent and not missing a beat the entire time. As someone who has lived in New Orleans for over 20 years, and eaten at multiple Emeril restaurants, I can tell you with absolute certainty to not eat here. I was flying out on a red eye and was stuck At the airport waiting to leave. Most of the restaurants were already closed, so I sat down and ordered a burger. I can confidently say that it was one of the worst burgers I have consumed in my life. A frozen machine made patty of low quality beef, slathered with a pink sauce that probably was delivered in a 5 gallon bucket, on a squishy sugar white bread Bun. Not a single french fry it was over 1 inch long, just bits and pieces of whatever was left underneath the food warmer. I get that I'm here late and there's nothing going on, but I can tell a frozen burger patty a mile away from one that has been handmade. For the 20 bucks I burned on this largely inedible meal I am more disgusted with the fact that this is what a tourist might eat coming to visit this incredible Food city. Emeril should be embarrassed by the absolute low quality of his offerings here. They arrive cold and the queso appeared and tasted like the kind I get out of a jar.
