When we flew in, we had to wait for family members to arrive so we decided this would be the spot to have breakfast. They had 2 choices sausage egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese. The biscuits were ok, as were the side of potatoes. We the patrons were stuffed in pretty tight, so it was a little uncomfortable. The worst part was my mother in law having to listen to a couple of hung over business men leaving from a convention talk about the party and how one of them was so drunk he crapped his pants. What happens in NOLA stays in oh wait thats Vegas. I am just shocked Emeril attaches his name to this. read more

Only 4 shrimp on my Po-boy. Emeril you should be ashamed!!! I mentioned the lack of shrimp on my sandwich. The waitress replied quickly that you only get 4-5 shrimp on your Po-boy depending who is cooking on the line that day. It was obvious she had answered this question more than a few times. I should have paid attention to the only 2 1/2 stars overall review on Yelp. We also tried the Boudin balls which were to kicked up with red pepper inside for our tastes. The chicken wings were a bit over cooked and too brown. The deviled eggs were the best thing that we tried. Food service was very slow. Our waitress was very nice and did the best she could. read more

Service is great, a pleasant surprise at an airport, but the food was dreadful. "Crawfish Nachos" - Cold seafood sauce and cold bland queso poured on bagged high school Stadium stale tortilla chips. The pic is how it went back to the kitchen. Emeril either doesn't give a darn his name is used on trash like this or would be mortified, I'm not sure which. His place in the city has always been good, so this is a real letdown. read more

Emeril’s Table - "Crawfish Nachos" - Seafood Near Me - Kenner, Louisiana

I'm warning you this is a hangry review. I've eaten here for lunch previously and they have a decent gumbo and the salads and pizza looked tasty but today the service was absent. It's 7:30am and the place is half empty and the hostess has to be told I want a table and then she thinks hard and consults with someone where to seat my 1 body! Finally after some discussion, she decides to put me in the farthest and most crowded corner which would have necessitated moving past 4 occupied tables when there were plenty of other empty seats around! So I said I would sit at the bar... I ask the bartender if the seat was empty as the dirty dishes had not been cleared yet... she says yes. I tell her I'm studying the menu to order before I sit and she walks away and tends to other customers. And when she stops to glassware or something at the other end she notices me staring and says she will be with me in a minute... when she comes she asks if I want a drink! Geez! I asked if they had hot tea and she said no and I said I'm going somewhere else! Not to mention the breakfast options with eggs start at $10, so you know there is nothing like an affordable breakfast in this joint! Only 1 omelet option and the shrimp and grits were $16.99. And by the way, the dirty dishes and food crumbs were still on the bar when I left, so obviously breakfast is hopeless here! read more

table scanners don't work, waitress doesn't take orders, then gets mad we haven't ordered. the only reason to come back is to warn people not to come here. read more

Not worth the price. The wrap was vending machine quality. The gumbo was salty. The chicken poboy had to be eaten with fork

The selection of cocktails is simple but right to the point. They have a select few different options as well. The food is more on the dry side, but not terrible. My biggest concern was how the waitress/waiters do not attend a service to you because they have a scan and order option. I sat down for 11 minutes with no one asking what I'd like at the bar therefore I ordered on the scan barcode which is very convenient. read more

I'm not sure we need to give a 'pass' on the quality because it's a restaurant in an Airport.... Gordon Ramsey (and other celebrity chefs) have places in Airports... I have eaten at a couple of places internationally over the years that have been fabulous..... this place is dire, dreadful selection of cookie-cutter 'southern' food that is a disgrace to the area. Please don't judge the fantastic food from this area by this shi+hole. Emeril is too busy counting the cash to give a damn and too old and talentless to step it up. read more

Big disappointment. Ordered the fries shrimp po boy. Shrimp was chewy as if had been reheated in microwave oven.

I was excited when I saw this in the New Orleans airport, especially since I was able to sit down and eat before our flight. Not the best choice. My daughter ordered a burger, and I ordered the gumbo and shrimp & grits. My daughter said her burger was good (however she rarely complains even if she didn't like it) My gumbo was good and I thought the shrimp & grits were mediocre. The shrimp was tasty, the grits were very sticky and swimming in a pool of something. My biggest complaint was the service. Our server was very nice, but both my gumbo (starter) and entrée were served at the same time. Why???? So which do you eat first, because neither one will taste good cold.. I almost sent one back, but decided to just suck it up and try to enjoy. If I had read the reviews beforehand, I might have passed on this one. read more

It seemed like alotta people arrived and were trying to get seated at same time but tables were already full. They only had 1 waitress covering I'm thinking all one side. The man bringing out food was nice. You have to use QR code at table to see menu and order. It seemed to be a problem to split checks. So when you place order it goes in as a table check. So we let waitress know. She knew it was 5 separate checks. So we knew it was gonna take some time to separate but didn't seem to make a big deal about it. So that was good. But know about that in case your doing work expenses and have to have separate checks. My friend had a margarita and said didn't have much tequila. Our pizzas were Hot and made fast! Lots of sauce. It's thin slices. The crust is crispy but the pizza slices are not. We had a Muffalatta one and a pepperoni one and the cheese one. Pizzas are 8 slices a piece so I guess price is good about $20-23 for a whole pizza. Could be shared with another person just depends how hungry you are. We had alot of left over pizza and took it in a box. My friend had the wings they ate fried crispy with breading. My friend thought were dried out but they looked pretty. The Cobb salad was good but we didn't see what it was called Creole, it had bacon. But she liked the dressing and looked colorful and pretty. I would go check out another restaurant for price and see what else this pretty airport has. read more

We were walking through the airport and ran into the manager of the Emeril's. We were starved and had limited time to get to our flight. BAM! He was on his way back to work and he sat us at the pizza bar. He placed our order and treated us as a king and queen. The staff was pleasant and everything was clean. It was amazing to watch pizza being made and cooked in the open oven. Thank you Todd You made our weekend! Just to be able to eat at Emerils! ***** read more

Read the reviews after we ordered and went oh no what are we in for? But I will say we pleasantly surprised. We both had red beans and rice and catfish fingers and both were perfect. Red beans were not over seasoned and catfish was lightly battered and really good. . Waiter was really pleasant and friendly. We ate downtown at the French quarter and I would have say this meal was better than what we had in the French quarter. Maybe we caught them at a good time but next time we are at the airport we will try them again read more

My wife and I ate here before our flight back to Houston from Mardi Gras 2020. We had eaten at Emeril's in New Orleans proper before and loved it. We were so disappointed. The place was chaos. They couldn't figure out where some order tickets were, the service as VERY slow, and the food was mediocre at best. A couple of young women ordered at the same time as we did but still hadn't gotten their food when we were finished eating. They were trying to get the food to go and pay the bill quickly. We saw that and just paid their bill for them so the could leave when they finally got their food so they could run to catch a flight. Now somehow I'm being charged for ours, theirs, and another unknown bill for $58. So in addition to the poor service and lousy food, I get to spend time calling to get this "mystery" bill taken off my credit card. So do yourself a favor at eat elsewhere while you're at the new airport. read more

Barely even edible. I don't expect too much from airport food, thought at least if his name is on I might be able to get a fresh burger. Nope cheap flavorless frozen hockey puck. Neither of us ate more than a couple bites and that was only because we were starving. The service was even worse. It was very slow with only three tables and the waitress was so rude. read more

Unlike another review I actually thought the gumbo had some good flavor but was severely lacking enough rice to give it some thickness. Was more like a soup than gumbo. This was the only good part of our experience. Now the bad: this restaurant is poorly run, poorly trained, and not worth the wait. With a growing line at the host desk the manager on duty seemed unaware of the FIVE tables that had yet to be bussed. Once I finally pointed them out he cleaned them in the most inefficient manner I've ever seen. We finally get sat to a wet table. The waitress was sweet but not trained. She struggled with knowledge of the menu and had to be asked multiple times for the bill. I ended up paying in cash bc I didn't trust her to know how to use the POS with a credit card. Multiple ppl left waiting to be sat and many looked pissed waiting long times for food. This is an airport restaurant for goodness sake, time is of the utmost importance! Overall, def a place I'd skip until management can figure out how to run a restaurant, especially one in an airport which is most dependent on efficiency for passengers. Lucky for us we got to the airport early. read more

For an airport restaurant, I think this place did well. We waited at most 30 seconds at the host station prior to being seated for a group of five. My mother-in-law at a restricted diet and they didn't care that she had some outside food that she had with her coffee from them. I had a beer and a shrimp po'boy. While the sandwich was delicious I think the star of the dish for me was the french fries. They were on the crispier side and not overly salty which is a win-win for me. read more

Emeril’s Table - Seafood Near Me - Kenner, Louisiana

The ambiance is nice with more table seating, which isn't available at all food choices in the terminal. The staff was friendly and efficient and you order via a QR code. However, the food is... not good. You would be better off getting a Cesar salad out of a bag at the grocery store, they taste better. Not worth the $19 charged. I'm not sure how Emeril would be associated with this, clearly just cashing in on the name and charging a fortune. read more

Don't let the famous name fool you, this is worth a skip. Gas food nachos made these look good and hope your excited for ordering from your phone because you are lucky to see service twice during your meal. Be warned the online ordering menu doesn't list everything in the items so you won't know for sure what is in the food til it arrives. read more

The hamburgers were cooked to shoe leather consistency. Only had about half the menu available. No sweet tea.

Saweet! Passed through MSY and thought I would try out Emeril's at the end of Terminal B and was pleasantly surprised. The farmhouse omelet was cooked to perfection and the potatoes (which I normally do not touch) were crispy and tasted fresh. This will be another destination restaurant on my travels! read more

Terrible , terrible service. Took 10 minutes to get the attention of our server and it wasn't busy. We ordered a pizza and after 30 minutes asked what the delay was. She said she "forgot " to put in the order. We asked her to expedite as our flight was growing near. She disappeared for 20 minutes When she came back, we asked about our pizza and she, in a rude manner , said, " you can't rush food". After that she walked away and refused to make eye contact or return to our are. She dumped the pizza off and our bill as what I would call a walk by. Don't ever come to this establishment unless you are desperate. read more

I really enjoyed the wings with the caviar ranch dressing. My wings came out hot. The service is slow which is a downfall. The food at the new MSY is so much better than the old MSY. I may actually check in early for now on just to eat. read more

Ordered a Catfish Po boy at the counter. Service was quick and my sandwich was delicious! I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo.

Slow service, cold fries. The catfish was worse than I make at home and the tartar sauce was basically just mayonnaise. They didn't have the wine on the menu and charged for a large pour of what we ordered without asking what we wanted. read more

Definitely not what I was expecting. I always equate Emeril to high quality. Good VERY basic and you are paying a premium.

I know airport food is pretty bleh already but I was surprised at how overpriced and bad the food was here. Super salty. Got the catfish po boy and there was barely any catfish. Wasn't even worth taking a picture. Better off going to Chick fil a read more

Awesome place to grab a nice meal while you wait for your flight. You will be surprised on how delicious the food is here.

No food after 8:00pm. Terrible attitudes. Had I not waited for 10 minutes to not get seated maybe I could have eaten. Stupid high prices for marginal food (based on past experiences.) read more

Be careful. There food is ok but they rudely kick you out exactly 30 minutes after you sit down. So, if you want to plug in and work while waiting for your flight, they won't let you. Also, the qr code makes you give a 25% tip when you order, not at the end of the meal, so, the waitress gets paid up front, then does nothing, then kicks out out so she can turn the table. In my case, she walked right up and said to me: sir, you've been here for 30 minutes and we're busy so you've been here too long. read more

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Maybe Emeril should have eaten here once because it would be the last time. Each table has a marketing sign that suggests an appetizer (see pictures). Two of the appetizer are not even on the menu and the wings are nothing like the picture (see pictures). The food is absolutely terrible. Not just bad but horrible. Beer is flat and not cold! We fly in and out of the New Orleans airport about 20 times a year as we have a home in the city. It's embarrassing to Louisiana to have this bad of food and quality. Please avoid the restaurant as there are several others restaurants that are actually decent. read more
