    If you're looking for for a place with great food, great service, great atmosphere, & great service...look no further! Great spot for all of the above! Went for an early dinner at 5:30PM on a Saturday before checking out 2nd Saturday in Southtown. Sat at the high top at the bar, my only complaint is the chairs are not the comfiest if you're a big dude. Besides that, if you are under 250lbs, you are golden! I will say, hands down, they have the best Brussel sprouts in town. What a unique blend of flavors and flash fried to perfection! This spot is a must go, do not skip on this one!

    We came in for a quick date night without reservations on a Sunday night and were able to be seated quickly at a table. The atmosphere and location are perfect! It's warm and candle-lit with a beautiful bar and piano. We ordered 3 different drinks and they were all unique and tasty. I ordered the chasing ghosts which was served beautifully with orange garnish. We ordered the cheese plate as an appetizer and the flavors paired perfectly. I ordered a salad and a side of mac & cheese for a small meal. The salad was good, but the Mac & cheese was a little bit too rich and the green onion was overpowering. Overall, the service was good and this is a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy conversation.

    Had the Loretta burger. It was really good the only thing bad which was the hard cheese it's different but tasty. The rest of the burger is good and the fries and I think they are made from truffle.

    I love the ambiance here! Came here with a friend for dinner. We had the shrimp and polenta plate as well as the crispy chicken on a bed of veggies. It was incredible!!! The whole staff were super nice. Beautiful spot. GREAT bar! Amanda was especially amazing!

    We didn't make a reservation, but got a spot at the bar. Great service here, very attentive and friendly. The brussel sprouts were super crispy and amazing. I would come back for those alone. The food was all super flavorful and I recommend this place for both the food and the cool atmosphere. Parking isn't ideal, but this is a great area to walk around!

    The ambiance here is so cute, like much of Southtown and a really nice relaxed vibe inside. The staff are attentive and helpful and I recommend reservations if going in the weekend at peak dinner hours. I do wish they had a larger menu or more frequent rotation of specials. The beet salad was okay and a basket of fries to share always is going to be good.

    Food, service, Ambiance. We enjoyed it all, the Brussels sprouts with cotija cheese and the slight sweetness, ate that like it was popcorn. We got the Mac and cheese, creamy, cheesy but still amazingly light, very impressed, the green onion really added to it in a subtle way. She ordered the salmon which was perfectly cooked and came with potatoes, which actually worked well considering you expect rice most of the time. I got the brick chicken with like a Demi glaze, also perfectly cooked and good portion to even share but was a great meal overall. I recommend this place, classy but not pretentious, welcoming and good for date night or family night out. Well deserved 5 star and our server was attentive and clearly enjoyed working there, well done Bar Loretta, see you soon.!

    San Antonio is another place for great food. Everything was top-notch here. Great food, great service, great decor. I really like how they had the old school vintage look in this place. I don't know what you would call it but I'm sure there's a name for it. The customer service was top notch. Bree did an outstanding job! Food: everything here was phenomenal. The quail was simply to die for. The fruit and meat tray that we ordered with cheese was the best. Oh my God that was so good. I could go back and order that as a dish that's how good it was. Also, my hamburger or if you wanna call it a smash burger was top notch. Every single bite was full of flavor and it was made to perfection. Their bread, pudding, the chocolate bread pudding with ice cream. Simply amazing. I like the Decor like I said earlier one thing I really enjoyed is how they restored the old-school hardwood floors. What a great touch and look. Another thing it stood out is how they did the tile work with the name in the Tile . I thought that was a unique touch. This is a great establishment and I will come here every time. I'm in San Antonio .

    Such a cute date spot. Or grab-a-drink-with-a-friend spot. My friend and colleague (shout out to Fernanda F!) dropped in during the neighborhood's First Fridays... we were able to immediately grab a seat at the bar and order a glass of red and a cocktail. The bar is dark, sultry - a mix of romantic vibes at a very vintage dive. Service was extremely helpful and welcoming to boot. Had it not been for the delectable food photos I now see on Yelp, I wouldn't have known they're a full-service restaurant "serving elevated, modern Texas cuisine." I'll put a pin in that for next time I'm in SA.

    Bar Loretta is such a vibe! The building has so much character and charm, it's adorable! The service was amazing and the waitress was the sweetest. Great ambience for a cozy and elevated date night. We started with Sauvignon Blanc. The Steak Frites were 10/10 and the garlic butter on top was a perfect touch! The Mexican Chocolate Mousse and the Grandma Edna's Apple Crisp were amazing!!! Will be trying all the desserts in rotation and will definitely be back!

    Earlier last week, we decided to take Dad to @barloretta for dinner. It would be a first for Dad and it's been a while since I've been there. Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had Big in Japan, and I had Ride or Die. All great drinks! Hubby and I shared the Caesar Salad. We all shared the bread service and Brussels sprouts. I got Dad Quail and Mac & Cheese. I had Lamb Chops and Hubby had the Fish of the Day, swordfish. Everything was tasty. We ended the meal with the French Toast Brulee, a little different yet sweet ending.

    I highly recommend that you take a trip to this amazing little gem! I am a foodie. I love to travel and I stumbled upon this place on a Work trip. I took an Uber down to the Riverwalk, but the restaurants that surrounded the area seemed very touristy and not great ratings. I found this little rustic house about a 15 minute walk from the Riverside . Snuggled in a little artsy neighborhood. The rustic house is decorated in an artsy New Orleans vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was chilly outside and I was by myself and the hostess recommend the back patio. No one was outside since it was chilly, but they have heaters and it was absolutely perfect with beautiful music playing through the patio, I had the whole patio to myself with pictures included! so not only was the atmosphere perfect , but the food was just as amazing. I ordered a champagne drink, but wanted fruit in it and they made me this beautiful concoction with blackberries that was better than what I desired!! I started the meal with a warm baguette that was surrounded with butter and radishes. The entrée I ordered was their signature Loretta hamburger, which was an amazing explosion inside your mouth! I ended the meal with their chocolate mousse that was so light with a hint of cinnamon. I thought I was too full to eat, but couldn't stop taking bites out of the to go box. Besides just being an amazing meal, they cooked everything to how I requested!! My service from the hostess to my waitress Tonya matched the food!! Thank you for an amazing experience celebrating my birthday on a work trip!! The Loretta House made this birthday unforgettable!

The entire front-of-house team worked seamlessly together and made us feel genuinely taken care of. We also were given a lovely bread service. And the food -- absolutely delicious. The starters were phenomenal and set the tone for the meal. The meats were cooked perfectly -- flavorful, tender, and beautifully executed. Every course felt thoughtful and well-prepared. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, Biga on the Banks exceeded expectations. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience on the River Walk. Five stars all the way.

The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. Extremely accommodating and instructive as well. You can't hope for much more from a server in Restaurant than this activity. The food is really quite good. How are the drinks. Extremely dependable and the portions are generous and equally wonderful. There are many places to dine in San Antonio. Boudros was highly recommended by friends, and was the first restaurant on our list to dine in during our recent visit. We arrived at the restaurant on a Thursday around 7:45 pm and were told by a young Hostess that no walk-ins were allowed until after 9 pm. We decided to modify our itinerary and instead had dinner at a different restaurant on the riverwalk, and made a reservation for Boudros online for the following evening. When we arrived the following evening for our reservation at 7.30 pm, we were escorted to a small table in the bar that was next to the entrance to a small room. The area was noisy with a lot of foot traffic. We asked for a table in a quieter room and were moved to a room in the back of the restaurant where it was easier to have a conversation. A few minutes later our waiter, Stephen, approached the table. We asked him for drink recommendations and among others he recommended the "Prickly Pear Margarita". I ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, and we also ordered the tableside Guacamole. The restaurant was busy, but there were several empty tables in our dining area. After about 15 to 20 minutes, the waiter brought our drinks. The Prickly Pear Margarita I received was not even close to the description on the menu. The ice was melted and it tasted like Fruit Punch with alcohol in a martini glass. A few minutes later, Stephen approached our table with the Guacamole cart. There were pieces of onions and cilantro all over the dirty table cloth on the cart. He prepared the Guacamole in front of us and it looked very unappealing. We watched as he added an excessive amount of diced onions and cilantro. Being a connoisseur of Guacamole, and making my own for most of my life, it was obvious that Stephen had not been trained well in how to make Guacamole. After he mixed the sliced avocados, the diced onions and cilantro, he wiped the edge of the stone tray with a dirty cloth. The onions and cilantro over powered the taste of the avocado. Later that evening, Stephen brought a very fancy drink for a customer sitting next to us. The drink looked like frozen lime juice with line of frozen strawberry and a nice scoop of frozen lime juice on top. I asked Stephen for the name of that drink, and he replied that it was the same drink that I had ordered. I asked why it looked so different and he muttered something about it being the end of the batch and then said "I'm not the Bartender". He blamed the Bartender for making the terrible drink, and made no effort to correct the problem. Later Stephen returned with our dinner, and as he approached our table, he ordered my wife to "move your glass!" Needless to say she was quite taken aback at his abrupt manner with no please or thank-you. In all the staff did not have a very good demeanor and were very sullen and grumpy. Even asking for directions to the bathroom barely elicited a glance and the needed information. Maybe the staff was overworked because of the number of visitors for the Fiesta, but the terrible, over-priced food, did not make up for the unhappy staff, and we do not plan to return.

Service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively, and everything came out just right. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We walked in about 15 minutes before our actual reservation so we hung out at the bar and had a drink. Before we were done with our drinks, the hostess came over to us to let us know our table was ready. I did not know that this was an open kitchen concept but I was thrilled when I seen it. We were seated by the kitchen. I thought it was bd a bit noisy but the kitchen staff was quiet which allowed us to enjoy our meal and conversation. The waitress was very nice and observant. She did not interrupt our conversations, she waited until we sat plates aside as we were done to avoid reaching over us, and she even took pictures for us. She also offered us glasses of prosecco to celebrate with. We ordered the roasted carrots and pork belly for appetizers and the short beef ribs and steak for entrees. The food was so good! I mean, the steak melted in your mouth! I thought the steak at Bohanan's was great but I think Signature got the best of them. The service and food were flawless and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I'll be back for my birthday and other celebrations/events.

One guest was served butter and a pho amuse bouche at the same time so she took a good spoonful of her butter, dipped it into her pho, and ate it because nobody told her what she had just been served. I can't imagine what she was thinking. Started with some fresh bread and a generous medallion of a butter and onion ash roll. Nice touch. The pho came to me cold but I found out it was intended to be hot. I guess if it's not served immediately it gets cold really fast because it's just a sip or two. It was very clean and OK flavor but I prefer the deep, umami richness of a fatty pho broth. Continuing with the amuse bouche, I was served a platter of three pieces--a scotch egg, cornbread truffle and fries, and something unmemorable. The scotch egg and cornbread were OK but at this point I was starting to wonder if I was wasting my time and money. Then I tried the tuna and that was a flavor bomb. Cubed tuna over a creamy coconut sauce with a hint of heat, balanced with fresh citrus and purple potato crisps for some added texture and a tasty salt finish. This was visually stunning and just singing in my mouth. I absolutely loved it! Scallop and caviar topped with smoked king salmon, and crispy leeks. This was rich and decadent and I appreciated the crispy leeks to balance the otherwise soft textures. Wished the lime was a little more pronounced to help brighten and lift some of the richness, but still a very good dish. Charred romanesco broccoli with a romesco sauce and green salsa was served with pickled raisins and a heaping serving of shredded manchego cheese. This was good but not something I'd want to reorder. Raspberry bergamot lemon sorbet was just the refreshing bite needed before the heavy hitters. The Texas Wagyu coulotte was cooked to perfection. It was simple, served with mushrooms, and didn't need a lot of fuss. For desert, I was served a persimmon chocolate mousse with orange, a rolled persimmon slice, and dollops of what tasted like yuzu. As full as I was I was able to finish this all. It was creamy, rich, and balanced with citrus notes. And finally, the service ended with a mixed plate of petit fours which held up well the next day and were all very good -- a brownie, dulce de leche, macaron, chocolate chip cookie, and some sort of citrus gel. In all, I think the tasting menu was worth the price. I think chef did a great job balancing flavors and textures, plating beautifully, and staying true to ingredients while having fun experimenting. If my pho wasn't served cold, I didn't see some poor service, and the extra amuse bouche trio wasn't served I probably would've given this 5 stars. Maybe next time.
