    When I walked in Saturday September 14, the tattooed lady in the front was pretty rude and unfriendly. Jenn was a great radiology tech and the guy who put in my IV line was great as well. He did not leave me with any bruises where he put in my line. Both Jenn and he were very personable and friendly. My wife waited for me in the front waiting room and told me the admissions person was rude to other patients as well. She was playing with her phone and it seemed like when patients came in they were disturbing her. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star experience.

    What a pleasant experience. Quick check in process. Friendly and efficient movements between tests. Sam was great for the ultra sound. Nice and private wait areas for the gowned peeps. Clean and tidy. Parking busy but reserved spots for Banner. Very helpful.

    Clean facility. Easy to access. Check in process easy and staff was friendly. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

    Terribly rude, unkind. Does not listen to her patients. Blatantly insulted her patient in front of staff and other patients.

The scheduling folks are not located at any of the MRI locations. They are in some centralized office who are in need of training. First error sent me to a 2D machine and was not what my doctor ordered. They canceled and rescheduled me a week out. Then several more locations the last in this review was the correct one. After I posted this review I received a request to complete their survey. I've been a customer for years for more common services like X-rays but never a survey. The power of Yelp reviews.     My review is going to encompass the experience I had with SimonMed as a whole, which was less than…read moreacceptable. My gastroenterologist scheduled a CT scan with and without contrast, with oral contrast as well. Joy! I hate having CT scans done because of the dye...and the oral contrast always upsets my stomach. They put sorbitol in that stuff and I have a sensitivity to sugar alcohols. Anyway, when I scheduled the appointment, they told me to arrive 15-minutes before my appointment, bring my insurance card and ID and to drink 32oz of water within one hour of the procedure. I received a confirmation phone call the night before the procedure once again informing me to arrive 15 min. prior to the scheduled appointment time. Also, when I scheduled the appointment, the agent I spoke with created a new SimonMed account for me instead of using my existing one. My existing account is under an old email address and because the lady set up a new account with my new email address, it won't let me change the email address on the old account. It also won't let me log into the new account. I called and no one seems to know how to fix this. One agent told me that they sent a request to have the accounts merged, however that never happened. Super frustrating! When I arrived at the facility, the lady behind the counter said, "Were you aware that you needed to be here one hour before your scheduled appointment time?" I explained that the scheduling department (based in India) told me numerous times that it was 15 min. Then, she said the CT scan was going to be over $470. I had called my insurance company prior to the appointment and my insurance company said it was going to be $160-$170. I explained this and the assistant said she'd resubmit it to see. After about 10 min. the bill was somehow reduced to $169 but then they charge a 3% credit card fee, which I found to be ridiculous for a medical facility to do this. As far as the care quality goes, it was just ok. The technician was super nice but she missed my vein when doing my IV and then dug around for a little while with no success...then she restuck me in almost the same spot, which was a little on the painful side. I hope this is the last time I have to have a CT scan and the last time I have to deal with SimonMed. The quality of service regarding scheduling has really gone down hill and the insurance billing seems to be a big question mark. Why was I going to be charged over $400 at first? If I didn't question it, I would've been on the hook for this. I bet they would've never sent the claim knowing they over charged and would've kept my money.

The waiting room is pristine and spacious with comfortable seating. The entire process is personable and professional. The changing rooms provide the appropriate privacy and are equipped with deodorant and wipes. As expected lockers are available to store your personal belongings. The lockers themselves are generous in size but what makes them unique are the celebrity names you can choose from. This is a nice whimsical touch and you will definitely not forget which locker is yours! Online booking is available but I appreciate the option to book my next years appointment upon check out and results are generally received within a few short days. I live in Mesa so the facility is not necessarily convenient to where I live but it's definitely worth the trip over.

    If I could give them 0 stars I would…read more I showed up on a Tuesday morning when they opened at 8:30 AM. There was no one there, but I still had to wait 30 minutes for them to call me back. My doctor had sent an electronic order over the afternoon prior. At first, I was told that the x-ray technician wasn't there that day but then she figured out that they were. They did not use my current order that my doctor had sent over. They used an order that was in the system from two years ago from a different doctor. I tried to get them to change it over the telephone, but they have outsourced their customer service department to India so it's impossible to get anything done. Just getting them to send it to my current doctor was a chore. I had to call my current doctors office to get them to call SimonMed and give them the order again verbally over the telephone. I then emailed Shannon, the girl who works at the front desk at SimonMed THREE times and she never once returned my email. She has no clue what she's doing. I watched as other customers came in for their appointment and were told that that technician wasn't in that day, but no one let the customer know. I would highly recommend that you go to a different imaging place. This place just does not have what it takes to run an efficient, competent and customer service, friendly office.

Also, I thought it was rude that they were speaking Spanish to one another, while those of us who may not know Spanish sit a listen. At that time they were not helping a patient with Spanish, they were speaking to one another. Then once I was called they had the wrong insurance for me and wrong doctor. When I finally expressed that I needed to leave without the MRI because I had to go to work, they called me. The tech was very nice and professional. Besides the tech I would not recommend going to them. Go to EVDI instead.

I can deal with that, but the billing department is the worst I have ever come across. They require you to pay an amount that they have come up with up front. After my insurance paid their portion, I had a refund due. I have been calling since April asking for my money. I get voicemail or it says the voicemail is full. I spoke to the supposed supervisor and was just told that he would add it to his to do list as well with no anticipation of when I would get my money. He just made excuses for the person handling the checking cutting. I will never go to this place again!
