I am sad to give this review. I have been coming to this location for 6 years. I loved it and the staff was more empathetic. This time around not so positive experience. First off at check in I was caught off guard with the payment upfront and made me feel like an idiot. I did receive a text letting me know that a payment would be required but no actual amount, hence not prepared to pay several hundred dollars. The front desk person kept on repeating - well, you were sent a text and it was opened. Yes the text came through but again not even an estimate amount. So I was prepared to pay the average copay. Second - when I was called for my imaging, I was being questioned over and over as to why was I getting those images. Listen I'm a patient and my doctor ordered what she ordered because She felt that was importante to get looked at. I'm a patient not the medical professional. if they have issues with my imaging order then contact my doctor. I pay a lot of money every month for private insurance so just complete my medical doctor's order and don't make me feel awful for being there. read more

When I called and scheduled my appointment with Banner Imaging scheduling, I did not realize that I would be going to this location. After having such a bad experience last time, I was here, I vowed to never go here again. However, since I had the appointment scheduled and I was there, I really just had to suck it up and go in. It was a much different experience for me this time around. I showed up at 8:05 for an 8:15 appointment. The check-in process went very smoothly, I didn't even have to sit down after signing in and somebody was helping me. then I sat down for a second to fill out a questionnaire, and I was called back to prepare for my mammogram. By 8:20 I was back in the imaging room getting the press down. Lisa my radiology tech and she was amazing. It was the easiest and least painful mammogram I've ever had. I would've rated them four stars, but I added a star just for Lisa. read more

The location was 5 stars but Banner you need to hire more radiologist. Waiting 5-7 days for a report when you're in excruciating pain is not acceptable. Can't see specialist without report. Happens every imaging done. read more

I had one of the best experiences ever at this location for Banner imaging. They run things so smoothly there. My appointment was on time which was amazing. Usually have to wait a half an hour to an hour before you are taken to the transition waiting area. The mammographer Amanda was amazing. Amanda has an amazing bedside manner and was very helpful and informative. I will definitely go back to this location for all of my mammography needs. read more

It's rare for me to leave a review, but my experience today at Banner Imaging Chandler was so incredible that I feel compelled to share. One of the registrars checked me in quickly and I was called back for the first of my two scheduled scans before I even finished the questionnaires. Everyone was very courteous, helpful, and thorough and the two teams handling my scans orchestrated the transition efficiently and seamlessly. I got to chatting with Sherry, the MA that would be assisting with my MRI, while she was putting in my IV and we had a great conversation, quickly discovering that we shared faith in Jesus. As Sherry and Mare were sliding me into the MRI tube, I started to have a panic attack (I'm a bit claustrophobic)! They quickly slid me out and made some adjustments to how I was laying on the table and slid me back in. It was better but I knew I wouldn't make it 25 minutes in there. Between my panicked breaths, from inside the tube, I said "sister, will you pray for me?" In less than 2 seconds, Sherry was holding my hand and praying to our Father on my behalf!! My breathing slowed, and I could feel myself calming down. Thank you for your compassion, grace, and intercessory prayer Sherry! Scheduling my x-ray was far from smooth, took several phone calls. My experience having the x-ray performed was very good. Apparently it takes 7 days for the Radiologist to review my x-ray and write a report. This is not acceptable. Next time my PCP orders any imaging I will go to Simon Med. read more

I had an MRI performed at Banner a week ago., 5/6/2024. No results available. a week latewr. This is unacceptable. I did not have the results for my followup medical appointment. The physician also was unable to get the results. I was told that "the patients needs to be patient'". "there is nothing we can do about it" . I/ve been in excruciating pain for the week. The doctors can't treat me if they don't know what is wrong. Don't tell me to go to the ER as the ER visits are for life threatening medical needs, not chronic pain. I do not feel that I should pay the MRI bill for this shotty service. Today, Banner imaging told me to call my doctor. He should call Banner and ask for a "Stat" reading. A Stat readimg a week after the imaging was performed? This is a Banner problem, not having enough radiologists. Banner give you a appointment quickly, but doesn't follow through the with results. Obviously, getting their numbers up for imaging is the profitable goal. Not patient service. read more

Day 13 after having a chest X-ray, and imaging still tells me the diagnosis report is not available! I can see from the other reviews, this is common, and that Banner Health has no concerns about their patients' needs. I have been feeling very bad, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, and need to know whether or not to see a pulmonologist or cardiologist. This wait is putting my health at risk! read more

The front office was wonderful but after two weeks waiting for information on the x-rays taken....no answer. NEVER AGAIN!

Second time here over the past year. Quickly processed by front desk rep. No issues. Facility is nice and clean. Was walked to waiting room in back and interviewed by Sherry. She is perfect for this role and provided outstanding customer service AND a warm personality. Tech that did test was as good as any other Techs at other imaging centers that I have been to. Unfortunately, they were running about 40 min behind, so I had a wait. read more

i had such a great experience today 7/24/2023 from start to finish. had dexa scan and a mamagram. the check in wwas done sooner than scheduled as well as all tests. the professionalism and patient care was outstanding. kudos to those people who helped me today. have to add the appointment was made with the nicest person; she was perfection. the text messages received kept me aware and alerted me to special actions i needed to take prior to appt. i don't know who is in charge of banner's training of personnel as well as hr....but you have done such a great job... read more

First, let me say I consider this office to be two in one. There is the Front office; where you sign in and speak with a female up front that will verify your appointment, scan your insurance card etc. Then there is the Back office; where you meet the CT techs, Xray techs, etc. I have ALWAYS been very pleased with the "back office" crew. So this review is only directed to the front office people. A couple of weeks ago I was referred by my Primary to get an xray, my doctor said she would FAX the referral info to Banner and she gave me a copy of it just in case... The fax number was right on the request form as it was a Banner request form. I scheduled an appointment, was on time and the lady (heavy set, shoulder length blondish wavy hair) said she cant find it. I said thats weird I know my doctor faxed it, she replied yeah we are transitioning to a new number and so we are back up with that fax and it goes to a general inbox and there are so many in there I wouldn't be able to find it. Side note: My first thought was, why have a fax number if its not working and why wasn't my fax pulled in the days leading up to my appointment so they were prepared. So she hands me another fax number and says tell your doc to fax it to this number instead. I told her that they should probably change the fax number on the form so other patients dont have this problem to which she replied; "Oh the fax works fine but the one I handed you is a direct line." I said obviously doesn't work if you aren't able to get my info. Then she began to get rude and tell me "You are not understanding what I am saying." This seems like an office organization issue. If my doc faxed something over, then I called to make an appointment, they should have had my info ready as well as other patients instead of telling patients they need to come back with the paperwork or call their doctors again. THANK GOD I had the copy of the fax otherwise I would've had to wait longer for my doctor to re-fax to a new number. 2nd issue with the Front Office happened today. Yesterday I called the general customer service line, asked for my images the person said he will put the order in and that I could go swing by today and pick them up. So I "swing by" at 8AM and told the (check in) lady at the first desk on the left that I only needed to pick up images, she says; "Go ahead and sign in." I thought to myself, here we go again... I signed in (3 others were ahead of me on the list) behind people who were there for X-rays, scans, etc... I just needed an envelope that was supposedly ready. I sat from 8AM till 838AM was called up, showed my ID and literally 25 seconds later was handed an envelope and told; "There you go." Do you not see the problem with this process?! So I am one to speak up, so I asked the lady is there a reason I had to wait 40 minutes for something I, A: called ahead for and B: only takes a few seconds to hand to someone? She replies with; "Everyone has to sign in (shrugging her shoulders)." I said; "Okay, I get the signing in part but how about you let a coworker know, someones here for images only.?" This front office operation lacks organization, patient empathy and consideration of peoples time as well as less than desired customer service. You may think I am a complainer but don't judge till you go and see for yourself. I left a message for the office manager to give my feedback because I believe it letting management know about the issue because in some instances they have the opportunity to fix the problem. read more

I just waited 31 minutes on hold, got busy and hung up, called back and was told by a rather rude recording that I would have an additional 22 minute wait. I think I'll go where they actually want my business and have the infrastructure in place to handle it. Email to tell patient to arrive 30 min. early received 2 hours before I had to leave for appt. Nothing about that was mentioned in the reminder email sent the day before. Extremely inconsiderate and was almost late. Also, After using that facility for many years, as I walked through the automatic sliding door, IT BEGAN TO CLOSE WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE DOORWAY, PUSHING ME SLIGHTLY TOWARD THE DOOR FRAME. Very poor service! We have been waiting for a call back from Banner Imaging to schedule a biopsy for two weeks. We had a CT scan which indicates a serious problem. BI s Scheduling says that do not schedule biopsies but have sent an "email" to those responsible. Several hours later we are still waiting! read more

2nd time having an issue receiving an IV. The first visit took 2 attempts to get the IV to go in, and now the second visit also took 2 attempts to get the IV to go in. I have huge/visible veins, get a lot of regular lab work, and never had this issue outside of Banner Imaging. The tech enters the vein very slowly instead of a quick jab and then blood is everywhere. Hoping this review might stem some additional training for the staff giving IVs to prevent others from having the same experience. Update: found out my symptoms/reason for imaging were listed incorrectly on the form you fill out in the office. The front desk gave me the form to fill out, but the tech took it from me when I was taken back to speed things along and filled it out herself. This is dangerous practice as the reason for my imaging is inaccurate and could have led the radiologist to look for the wrong thing. read more

I have been a customer of EVDI for several years...probably 10+. They are pleasant thorough and efficient. No one enjoys going to these check-ups but at least at a place like EVDI you get friendly service. They take reservations which I highly recommend, but they also allow walk-ins. That must be a great benefit, if needed. read more

I go to Banner Imaging in Goodyear for all my imaging. All the staff is fantanistic and all the Imaging techs are all very pleasant and knowledgeable. I only have one complaint after all the imaging I have had at this Banner location and that was a comparative report by one of the Radiologistsfantastic. One of the most highly paid physicians in the medical field. Although the report was inadequate in details which caused me imediate concern. The report did not mention many things that should have been compared that should on the previous imaging of my lungs that should have been mentioned on the comparative report. Also, they found a "Punctate" kidney stone which is always serious no matter what size it is and should always be followed up with future imaging for growth, movement, etc. "Punctate" means small but even a small kidney stone can become serious. He did not even put down the size of the stone, just that it was small. That is scary and the size of the stone should have been mentioned for future comparison. ( I will not mention the Radiologist). Because of my concern of lacking overall comparision of my lung condition from my previous scans and the finding of a kidney stone with no mention of the actual size (very easy for a Radiogist to determine and should have put in the comparisonRadiologistimmediatereport, I called the office right away. I also missed my pulmonologist appointment because of it, due to my anxiety. I got the manager/imaging tech, JAIME - IMAGING TECH/MANAGER and he was fantastic!. He explained everything to me putting me at ease. Although not a doctor, he still advised seeing my Pulmolgist and Primary for follow-up, he took the time to explain the comparisons from the last report from an imaging tech perspective. In my opinion (although not a doctor, as he disclosed) he seemed to be more informed or at least communicated every detail of the reports. The kidney was small as mentioned in the report but not the actual size. It was 1/2mm in size. Now I have more knowledge and something to compare it to for future follow-up with my doctors. Also, he went into even more detail regarding the imaging comparison of previous CT of my Lungs. He was awesome.... communicated more to me than any Radiologist, Pulmonologist, or Primary... maybe not because he knew more but he cared. He took the time to explain everything, was down-to-earth and you could relate to him. He was absolutely fantastic... whatever he is getting paid... he should get a raise in salary. Super knowledge, caring, communicated in detail, and put my mind at ease. I decided I do not have to see a pulmonologist for a while (in the near future though) due to factual (not diagnosis) of the comparison of the scans given /related to me by Jamie. SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT BANNER IMAGING IN GOODYEAR IS GREAT. ALL STAFF IS NICE, LITTLE WHAT TIME, AND TECHS ARE ALL VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE ONLY THING, IN MY OPINION, IS THAT THE RADIOLOGISTS NEED TO BE MORE DETAILED IN THEIR REPORTS. ESPECIALLY GIVING THEIR TRAINING, THEIR HIGH SALARIES, ETC. YOU WOULD THINK THEY COULD AT LEAST WRITE A DECENT REPORT. IT MAY HAVE ONY BEEN THIS ONE RADIODGIST .. AGAIN NO NAME. JAIME SHOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED AND IS VALUABLE STAFF MEMBER AND IN MY OPINION, REGARDLESS OF HIS SALARY OR POSITION HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED HIGHLY VALUABLE. MOTHER-IN-LAW with PAD was prescribed a CT w/contrast of her abdominal aorta. Her insurance will not allow these kinds of orders without approval by her PCP. PCP sent her to a nephrologist because repeated angioplasty of her leg arteries (1 in each leg left due to plaque) had diminished the function of her kidneys. Nephrologist changed her meds to improve kidney function but this affected her arrhythmia & vertigo. Once kidneys improved she was cleared & Banner Imaging received the order. I made an appointment THE FIRST WEEK OF MAY for the morning of 6/3. I called to verify the appointment & address at 2:30p the day before. Banner confirmed. At 9pm last night an automated system called my MOTHER-IN-LAW & left a message that her appointment was canceled due to no approval from her insurance. Here's the thing: BANNER DID NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST TO HER INSURANCE UNTIL 5/24 & THEY KNOW IT TAKES 2WKS TO CLEAR. My mother-in-law ended up collapsing in front of the ER from the arrhythmia and low-blood pressure because of her meds getting changed around for this CT scan! THIS IS AGEIST! It's like they hope the elderly will just give up because of the bureaucracy! IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPTION FOR IMAGING, GO THERE. BANNER IS AWFUL! read more

Took 45 minutes from start to finish. Not too bad. However, she asked all sorts of personal questions in front of other people and had me take my bra off and sit there in the sheer(ish) white shirt I wore in. I should have been given a medical gown/top. I'm certain the location I was asked all of the questions made it a HIPAA violation. read more

From being greeted at the door with sanitizer and a thermometer to checking in, to having every step clearly explained to me with smiles and the caring staff I have ever experienced at an imaging place. I have called them 3 times, been on hold 25-30 minutes each time and have asked to not be called again. Next day...same thing over again. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhogs Day! Told me I would hear from them in an hour or two, It took three days while in pain. My physical therapist needed this info to get started on treatment. Get an appointment for a week later then they cancel it sighting not hearing from my insurance company after memorial weekend. They dont have an option to schedule appointment online. The wait time for scheduling on the phone is RIDICULOUSLY long. Once you get past that though, they do a good job and the staff is very polite. Banner, there are tons of people that would love to have a job scheduling appointments for you. Hire them. read more
