Staff were nice. It was a little confusing when I came in. No one greeted me, so I did the sign in and had to ask one of the clerks if I just sit down and wait or what I should do. But after that no issues. My appointment was at 330 and I was back for my ultrasound by 335. My tech was really nice and explained everything. So, I have small veins, they blow out easily and I'm a hard stick. This technician started lying off the get-go. Their whole thing is about control. I have had a lot of MRI's with and without contrast and I'm a medical student to boot. I was wearing 100% cotton,no metal, no microfiber, and they demanded I change​​ into their gown. Ridiculous amd unnecessary. They even contradict each other with one telling me to leave my underwear on and the other saying I had take my 100% cotton no metal sports bra off. The worst was the stick. I told the person what guage needle works best. They said they 'can't' because of the auto injector They're using standard leur lock, and any auto injector can be adjusted to suit the needle gage. It takes minutes to do. Then the needle stick was so bad, they almost injected an Airbubble into me. I saw this, the tech looked at me, ripped the needle out and started to go after the other arm with the same needle. At which point I said I refuse the contrast and they told me I either do the contrast or go home. I left with blood streaming out of my arm because the tech didn't bother to put a bandaid on. They just called me and tried to say that what I went through was normal. So.I asked the person, Amanda, if she would trust the techs or go through that again. When I walked in Saturday September 14, the tattooed lady in the front was pretty rude and unfriendly. Jenn was a great radiology tech and the guy who put in my IV line was great as well. He did not leave me with any bruises where he put in my line. Both Jenn and he were very personable and friendly. My wife waited for me in the front waiting room and told me the admissions person was rude to other patients as well. She was playing with her phone and it seemed like when patients came in they were disturbing her. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star experience. read more

Told my patient responsibility was $202 when scheduling the appt 2 weeks prior. Showed up for the appt and was again told my responsibility was $202. Paid with a credit card. Later on that day they billed my insurance a totally different amount that was greater than they had told me, and what I had paid in the morning when the procedure was done. And now they're telling me I must pay the difference. It was an MRI. And they did nothing out of the ordinary that would have necessitated charging me more. Beware of Banner Imaging Balance Billing. I have Medicare and a secondary insurance. Banner Imaging is contracted (considered preferred provider) by both insurances. Medicare denied a claim, my secondary insurance stepped in and paid their contractual amount. My EOB says I do not owe the balance over contractual limit. Banner Imaging states they DO NOT have to ABIDE by the contractual amount IF the claim is denied by Medicare and then paid (only the contractual amount) by secondary insurance. Tried to schedule a MRI with NO CONTRAST.. Apparently they do not do that?? how is that even possible? It's an MRI ... minus the IV.. lady I spoke to said Radiologist says they don't do those.. As instructed, I showed up 15 minutes early. The tech came out at 10:15am (my appointment time) and called on the lady who was 15 minutes late to her appointment. I ended up leaving my appointment because they said I wouldn't be seen for another 15-20 minutes late. They could have made her wait since she was late. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. Went in today to pick up my MRI report that I had on my ankle done approximately 10 days ago. At the time I had it done I informed the FD that I wanted to pick up the my report for my records. They stated at the front desk that I just needed to come in and that I didn't need an appointment. Went in today to pick up my report I stood there for about 10 minutes while three or four people were chatting it up and laughing at the front desk out of sight. At this time I proceeded to go over to one of the stations at the very end where there was one person sitting. She never said hello hi how can I help you. Basically she said what do you need. I mentioned that I was here for my MRI results/report. She asked me if I had an appointment I said I was told I didn't need one. She then I'm actually had the gall to tell me "well I am leaving for the day". Not anything like hang on I'll get somebody to help you or anything remotely customer service oriented When I brought this to the office manager Alexa's attention she basically just played it off and said well will talk to her. This place is highly unprofessional. I believe this was an EVDI imaging center that Banner recently took over. Apparently they kept all the EVDI staff because this was a joke. I think Banner administration/executive team would be shocked to know that this is how they're treating their patients. I've been a banner patient for 25 years and I've never experienced such lack of professionalism. I will be taking my families medical care to Dignity going forward. read more

I went to Banner clinic as a patient because I didn't know where else to go after an ER visit at Banner. I went in to have something checked out and was told to have imaging. The order said ASAP for the imaging. I accepted Banner Clinic's referral to the Warner Banner Imaging site. First the imaging site said that my appoint would be a week out even if the order said ASAP. The reason I was told that it would take a week is so that the Imaging site could check my insurance. (that doesn't make sense to me because I have been using my insurance at the Banner clinic) But I still waited the week. A week later when my 6:45 am appointment came, I showed up on time. After waiting a half hour I was called back by an assistant. A tech met me and said that they are not qualified to provide the type of ultra sound that was ordered. I had to go to a "special imaging site". I immediately began asking why? And why didn't anyone call and tell me this. No satisfactory answer was provided. Just lame excuses. Banner has consistently been a Mickey Mouse operation when it comes to referrals etc. Apparently it is the responsibility of the Imaging Center on Warner to read the doctor's order sometime before the patient arrives. But they didn't. That lack of professionalism is why the Center gets a low score and I still like my doctor. It has been a trend that referrals and other offices and even prescriptions has been shoddy. A bad job was done with this referral and no one even considered calling me before the appointment. I guess they think its funny to turn a patient away. I expect a company like Banner when referring a patient to another Banner office would get something right. But they don't. read more

Called on a Wednesday to make an appointment and was able to get in quickly for an X-Ray. The office is tucked away next to the gym which was a bit hard to find, but once I was in there, it was clean and it seemed like it operated smoothly. I signed in and was quickly greeted with my information and getting checked in. My appointment was for 7:45 and people were coming and going into the office quick, so I figured I'd be done fast. Unfortunately, the front desk lady read my order wrong and I was delayed an hour due to this. Once back there, it went quick and the staff was friendly. Got my results within 72 hours. read more

I will never go to this facility again! Twice they have not had nurses available to access my port even thought I told them twice while scheduling my appointment that I had a port. Today they poked me 5 times trying to administer contrast. I literally shut them down after the fifth time. Got the MRI with no contrast. So disappointing and painful. Banner doesn't even deserve a one star review!! They quoted me $465 for a scan with dye. They charged my insurance over $1200 when I handed them an insurance card. Honestly that is cheating. I've called 6 times and get a different lie each time. Shame on them. I'm also a doctor. CHEATING PATIENTS THAT PAY IS UNETHICAL. GIve it for free to some and chaet the paying! The door wasn't opened and the lights turned on until 6:37am. -The check-in rep was nice. -The new patient survey had open ended questions that did not align with the yes and no boxes they ask you - duh. -As I waited in the lobby someone else came in and it was about 7 minutes before the rep came from the back to greet her. -Two other techs assisted me and both were nice. -The scanning equipment looks modern. -The back area needs a few cosmetic items done. Well I didn't pick it your rep did that set it up. I had a good experience here. I had had some intense abdominal pains the day before, and I had an order for an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound. Still in pain, I had to drink 28 ounces of water an hour before my appointment. Not an easy task, but I did it. My appointment was at 1:30 pm and my check in time was 1:00pm. The waiting room was very full but they were efficient and I was seen right away. They have a separate area for women in case you need to change your clothes for your test. My technician was extremely nice and professional. Even though I was still in pain and not feeling well, this was a good experience. read more

Walked in at 7:15am for a 7:30am appointment along with two other patients. We sat in the laobby for 15 minutes while two female clerks chatted about their lives to each other. I finally asked up to the counter and asked what time they started working. I asked if they were going to check us in. They both did not do anything for a few more minutes. During this time one of the clerks continued to cough sneeze and hack all while not covering. I walked out. I am sick enough. Don't need to become sicker because a banner health employee does not know when to stay home when they are sick. Called in to main appointment phone number and reported what transpired. The worst experience, horrendous customer service, unorganized, lack of follow up, not detail oriented, and employees pass the buck and never take accountability. 1) physician ordered a chest X-ray and hip x-ray. Banner imaging then gave me the actual xrays to take to the dr myself instead of the medical courier... only to forget the chest X-ray. When I followed up about the chest X-ray, they said they can't give it to me and I will need to request it from medical records and to reach out to an entirely different number and address. They could not do that in THIS office. Needless to say I was forced to wait in queue and pretty much do my own legwork to obtain my own X-rays when they forgot to send the physician the chest X-ray results. 2) I had a mammogram oct 29, 2 wks later they finally contact me to tell me they needed comparisons... even though I wrote on the paperwork where to get the past images for comparison. So they said I should go get my own imaging and bring it to them to compare. After doing all the legwork once again!!! They stated they will upload and do an addendum. Today is almost thanksgiving and still no results! So I call to follow up to make sure the addendum was done, and Jill tells me to follow up with my provider. I am simply asking if it was done and I was hung up on. So thank you Banner Imaging. Please take your time with my scans and comparisons. Cancer and follow up is apparently no big deal! I have been to several clinics since moving to Phoenix a year ago. This clinic was by far the most professionally managed. The staff, very friendly, introduced themselves to me, keep me informed about the duration of wait period and explained the process of having a MRI very thoroughly. They could not have been friendlier. The office was clean, neat and had a plethora of magazines of varied interest. This facility on east warren rd Tempe is the worst. They were uncaring, unprofessional, and unwilling on getting my records from My former hospital. They placed blame, passed the buck and did the bare minimum. Then they just quit. Without the decency of a phone call to me. I am Appalled at what they did. Not only do I have a serious condition but I have to deal with health professionals that are simply too lazy to follow through on anything. First do no harm ? The anxiety and stress from you has worsened my condition. Choose another imaging facility. That is my advice. read more

Thank goodness that's over! Came here for my baseline mammography and found the experience to be, on the whole, relatively painless and quick. The lobby's atmosphere is very lacking-- the furnishings were outdated and mismatched, and the walls barren and absent of warmth, and I mean this figuratively, and quite literally. I commented to the technician that tended to me later on that it was so cold in the lobby, and she explained that the diagnostic machines required that the building's temperature be on the chilly side... I was in and out in about thirty minutes, or less! (The return visit, at another location, however, wasn't as quick. Thankfully, I was given the good news, so here's hoping that the next visit goes even better!) read more

I'd say it's more like a pretty solid 2.5 - 3 stars. But I rounded down. Because "meh, I've experienced better" is exactly what I think. Not, A-Ok. I will say my techs were really nice. I went in for HIDA and a DXA scan, and my HIDA nurse was super friendly, very talkative, genuinely cared and was interested in what was going on with me. But here's my story. So, my Dr sent EVDI my order about 2 weeks ago. But I never received a call from them for scheduling. So I called them. They said they never received the order. So they asked me to ask my Dr to re-fax the order. They did. And not only did I schedule the appointment, I received the automated confirmation call actually telling me they had the order. So I get to the office at my scheduled check in time. Guess what. They DON'T have the order! So while I was there, at the front desk they again made me call my Dr, a third time and asked them to re-send it, again. And the entire time I was doing this, the receptionist ladies were all talking and socializing, and they'd whisper to each other and hold up a paper in front of their mouths, as to hide what they were saying. And one lady was even on her phone, checking her facebook! SO unprofessional! It was a LONG wait because of this. Even with my scheduled appointment. And the person who took me to the back, hardly gave me any direction of what to do, where to change, what to change into. I had to go out and find another nurse who was kind enough to tie up the back of my gown. Once I was in the back, those nurses were very kind and professional. The ladies up front however, were not so much. At least when they were all together. read more

This review is actually for Banner Imaging in Mesa, AZ (but I couldn't find it on here). I would give them zero stars (if possible)!! Although the COVID-19 virus is quite prevelent in Maricopa County at this time, the imaging staff is not wearing any protective gear - none. They are not checking for temperatures, only asking a couple of very basic questions. I will say the staff was quite nice, but that's not enough! My sister went in for imaging and possibly left with COVID-19. It's unacceptable. Banner Imaging staff should wear some type of protective gear to protect us ~ their customers, our famlies and also to protect the staff (obviously Banner Imaging does not care at all about the aforementioned people). I do know that other imaging centers in Mesa wear masks/gowns, (not Banner) Totally Disgusted! read more

After a 5 month long investigation and failed promises to get back to me and have a manager get in touch they are still strong arming me for payment.
