Truly the best sandwich that I have ever consumed. My girlfriend brought me Banh Mi 135 all the way from Georgia to Portland, Oregon, and when I tell you this sandwich CHANGED MY LIFE, I mean it! I warmed it up, took ONE bite, and immediately questioned every banh mi I've ever eaten before. HOW IS A SANDWICH THIS GOOD??? The bread, the meat, the flavors, EVERYTHING. Absolute perfection. I genuinely had to stop eating for a second just to process what was happening in my mouth. Mind you, this sandwich traveled ACROSS THE COUNTRY, got reheated, and STILL managed to be the best banh mi I've ever had. THAT IS INSANE. I can't even begin to imagine how heavenly it must taste fresh out of the shop. I'm genuinely upset that I live thousands of miles away because I would be here EVERY SINGLE DAY. Forget the tourist attractions. Forget everything else. Next time I'm in Georgia, Banh Mi 135 is my FIRST STOP. 1000/10. Life-changing. Absolutely unreal. Whoever made that sandwich deserves a raise, a trophy, and a standing ovation. I will be thinking about this banh mi for the foreseeable future.
In town to visit family and stopped by here to get the Banh mi to go for the road trip back home. I have my fair share of Banh mi all over the US. But I have to say this is best so far for me. The bread is fluffy and the spreading is amazing. The meats are fresh. Writing this now makes me crave for more and wish there is one in the DC area. My only regret is I didn't buy more.
First time here because of referrals and they did not disappoint. They have a constant flow of customers and they get out orders in a timely fashion. The restaurant is not too big, but big enough to enjoy your banh mi and dip. The bread is very crispy and light without a lot of breading. I had the classic dac biet right out the restaurant which is a combination of different meats. It was stuffed and very flavorful. Also had the thit nuong a day after which I also enjoyed as the meat was very tender and flavorful. The main thing I like about this place is that their prices are hard to beat especially being as good as they are because now a days, many places charge way too much for a banh mi. Definitely stopping by again when I return back to ATL.

Heard about this spot on Tik Tok and after I saw two vegetarian options I was super pumped to go! You rarely see any good vegetarian options. This spot is in the same row as Wowbooza, hence there is plenty of parking. The place is small but has seating. They have a small menu along with a separate drink menu with fresh sugar cane juice, viet coffee, and teas. I ended up getting the vegan Banh mi, which was made pretty quickly. They stay pretty busy, hence they do run out of things by the end of the day so I would recommend going earlier on the weekends! The Bánh mi was absolutely delicious and unlike the regular tofu option you get they use impossible meat. The price was reasonable. I will be going again!
My partner and I were headed north and decided to check out a Banh mi place for lunch in Gwinnett since it was on the way. $5.65 for a Banh mi? You can't beat that price! You can choose from a variety of proteins for your Banh mi. They offer fresh sugar cane and kumquat juice. The service is friendly and efficient. Many customers place to-go and pickup orders, often over 20 Banh mi at a time. We ordered two Banh mi--one special and one grilled pork--and received them within 5 minutes. The baguette was fresh, soft, and crispy. The toppings and proteins were all delicious. The grilled pork had a fragrant, slightly spicy flavor, which we didn't mind. Will definitely share with local family and friends and return again!
Call me weird. I will order ALL my Banh Mi's with veggies separate. I'd rather add in all the stuff needed, myself. Sometimes they're heavy handed with that stuff, other times they just don't give you enough! I love the carrots & daikon! Load them up! So, get them separated, you'll have more to enjoy vs ordering the Banh mi's as is. The strawberry tea was perfect. The Banh Mi's were amazing. Banh Mi Thit & Cha Lua, make sure you ask for extra pate. It's just a MUST!
My personal favorite: Grilled pork, the classic, opla (egg) and Pork Roll. They even have legit authentic vegetarian bánh mì too. You need to try it! Love their Vietnamese Iced Coffee, you'll definitely be wide-awake. I been searching for the best sugarcane juice, this place definitely got it down. People are always asking me this question, and trust me--your girl has been searching high and low for the best authentic and affordable bánh mì in Georgia. This spot is highly recommended and loved by the Vietnamese community here (they honestly gatekeep it a little too well ). The bánh mì is perfect--crispy, airy baguette with that golden crunch, packed with flavorful meats, fresh pickled veggies, cilantro, and a kick of chili and pâté. If you're after the real deal, this is the place to go. And don't miss their coffee and sugarcane juice--they're on another level!
The other reviews did not overstate this place. Had classics and pork bahn mi. Super delicately crispy bread, savory filling and nice balance overall, generous with pate. The food was very fresh...I haven't seen a place this busy in years...on a Sunday noon, orders were being picked up continuously but there were always a balance of about 15 orders waiting to be picked up, it was so non stop. Our order took about 30 min to fill bc they had so many other orders ahead of us. While we waited the line was constantly about 10 ppl deep...continuous churn of new customers. Even though they were so busy, staff welcomed us and showed us the menu ect right away. Most ppl got take out, but there are about 4-5 small round tables/bench and stools to dine in if you want. Lots of parking bc attached to grocery store/strip mall. So good!
Was staying in a hotel in Duluth and wanted a quick fast-casual lunch. I looked on Yelp and decided on this little banh mi shop in a strip mall full of Asian shops. I just got a classic banh mi and at first thought it was a little small, but it ended up being fine. They use the correct bread for banh mi and not just presliced baguettes. Best of all, I had sugar cane juice, which I don't see a lot where I'm from. Delicious, inexpensive meal, and it looks like a popular spot.
Finding a great Banh Mi place that's not on Buford Highway is tough. Luckly Banh Mi 135 opened on Pleasant Hill and it's awesome. I liked it because they offer the buy 5 get 1 free, but also the pricing of it is great and affordable. It's not like $8-$10 banh mi's (which I probably won't ever buy) but $5 which I mean you really can't complain. This place gets pretty busy, you can always call and order ahead of time and just come by and pick it up. Or you could just come and order there. The banh mi's itself aren't super stand out. I would say they're normal banh mi's, packed with flavor and has a decent amount of meat. You really don't lose out coming here to get your banh mi's. If you don't like it, you're only out of $5, but my bet is that you'll love it here and will come back especially if you're near this location. Overall, I would highly recommend if you're looking for banh mi's and don't know where to go and you're too lazy to go all the way down buford highway to come here and check it out.
This is my parents' go-to place for banh mi, and it's easy to see why. Like most banh mi shops in the area, they offer the buy 5, get 1 free deal. But what sets this place apart for my parents is the bread (and the convenient location). They also sell sugar cane drinks, which are refreshing, especially on hot days. If you're in the area and craving a good banh mi, this spot is worth checking out.

Really happy that we tried Banh Mi 135! The Banh Mi Dac Biet was great, all elements were well-executed. The meats seem house-made, and the spreads too. The pickles were the perfect mix of sweet and sour, and I really like how they do their cilantro (chopped but not minced, so there are leaves and stems in the mix. No long strings of cilantro to awkwardly chew through). The most important element, though, is the bread--perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside, fluffy and chewy on the inside. The sandwich was light and not dense, which is my mark of a good Banh Mi, so if you like them like that I'd recommend trying the here. Service was fast and we received our to-go order in less than 10 minutes. We didn't eat there so can't speak to the ambience, but the interior was clean. Note: if you get the sandwiches to go, you can ask for the veggies on the side and it they will give you a very generous bag of toppings. It's perfect for toasting at home and eating at your leisure. They have a buy 5 get one free deal which is a great value. Got some for today and tomorrow! read more

Located in a strip mall with other very authentic looking Asian spots, Banh Mi 135 is almost perfect. First of all, the bread is the best of any Bahn Mi I've had. It's incredibly fresh, warm, and crispy. The rest of the sandwich is quite good as well, but there wasn't enough meat for my taste. I know it's traditional to give a small amount, but I prefer non traditional in that regard. The flavors are all there though. One of my favorite banhmi places in Duluth. Restaurant is a bit small - it's more of a grab and go experience place for me since there aren't many available seats. They have a buy 5, get 1 free deal with a variety of choices priced pretty fairly for what banhmi sandwiches cost nowadays. read more

This spot is the absolute best for Vietnamese iced coffee. I've had viet iced coffee from a few local Vietnamese restaurants and different drink spots, however nothing tastes as good as Banh Mi 135. The ice is perfectly crushed, and the condensed milk is sooooo perfect for this coffee that really packs a punch. One cup and you will be wired for the rest of the day! read more

My go to for bánh mì in the Duluth area, they never disappoint. The service is quick and the place is always very clean. They put plenty of meat in the sandwich and the bread is the perfect texture (soft on the inside and crisp on the outside) Will continue to come back here. read more

This place has the best banh mi in the area. The bread is soft like a cloud with the perfect amount of crunch on the outer layer. This is the best option for vegetarians as well, they use veggie cha lua and soy beef as their filling which is seasoned very well. Definitely going to stop by whenever I'm in the area! read more

This is everything I remember and this some! I haven't had a banh mi in years but I'm glad I found this place to satisfy my craving for this sandwich. This place is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. I walked in and this place was busy with lots of people which was a good sign. The menu is simple and descriptive, so there is no guessing what's on your sandwich. There are little tables to dine in. I placed my order and waited less than 10 minutes to get my food which was great. On to the sandwich. It was AMAZING!!! The bread was fresh, crusty exterior soft interior. The meats were placed perfectly, the veggies were fresh and the pickled veggies were perfect. The nice spread of butter on the bread was a nice touch and added depth to the flavor of the sandwich. I can't wait to get another one. The coffee was nice and strong. I love the salted cream flavor that hits the back of the tongue leaving a nice flavor behind. This place is delicious! read more

One of my favorite banh mi joint here in Duluth! The banh mi tit nuong super tasty! A small shop with variety of banh mi options. They also have really good Vietnamese coffee and nuoc mia drink. The space is pretty open and there are plenty of seats along the side if you want to grab a quick bite. Highly recommend this place to anyone that has banh mi cravings! read more

I really love their bread. The texture of the bread is perfect for banh mi. Whatever recipe they have for the bread itself is a winner. The wait wasn't too long, pretty fast while they had many customers. I think they have a good ordering system to pump out a lot of orders quickly. There's seating inside and outside. Small but good for a quick meal. The banh mi was really good. I got the cha lua and can taste the soy sauce. I wish they'd add more pate though as I feel I didn't taste much of it. Good price as well. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I had the Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng and my wife had the Bánh Mì Gà Xé. The bread was fresh and had a nice crunch. 10 out of 10. The pickled vegetables were excellent. Perfect crunchiness and just the right amount of sour. Another 10 out of 10. The pork was good, definitely better than the average sandwich shop but no the best. The chicken was average. With the Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng I added a fried egg. When considering everything, my sandwich was excellent. For the Bánh Mì Gà Xé overall the sandwich was very good, with the chicken being average but the bread and pickled vegetables making up for it. This was our first time here and I look forward to returning soon read more

There are so many banh mi shops opening in Georgia now! I have been much been eating Quoc Huong for the past couple of years and having new options is nice. The bread here is soft, meats are flavorful and veggies are fresh. read more

Mom and I were shopping at the Mall of GA and she wanted to go back to get more Hu Tieu I'm Norcross.... lol. There was too much traffic + it was going on 6:30 ish, so I had to divert to Pleasant Hill, instead in hopes of finding her some Vietnamese food, at a restaurant that was still open!! We were going to Pho Saigon as I've been there before but it looks like they are renovating or changing out the name. We checked out the food court and nada. Mom said no to Pho Ga (they only do chicken pho) so she said let's just get some banh mi? Glad we did! The store was having a soft opening. They offer banh mi options + drinks. We both got banh mi dac biet and a drink. I think I had a kumquat tea lemonade, and mom tried sugarcane drink. We took it home to eat and everything was delicious. We were also super hungry LOL! I'd come back if I was in the area. I hope they bring out more drink options and banh mi options too. Each sandwich was about $5 read more

Banh Mi 135, located in the City Farmers Market plaza in Duluth, is a brand new Banh Mi(Vietnamese sandwhich) Specialty eatery. They have only recently just open, right around the 1-2 month mark. With the abundance of places selling banh mi, including the recently new ones; I recommend giving Banh Mi 135 a try as the items I got didn't disappoint and their service was nice in both in Vietnamese and English. This first go around, I got the Cold Cut combo and the shredded chicken. The quantity is debatable as I've had places with much less meat. But the meat and sandwhich itself taste great. The mayo and the pork liver had a great texture and taste that complimented the sandwhich really well, I was really satisfy with eat bite. The shredded chicken was ok, the chicken felt a little dry and flavor wasn't noticeable. Maybe it was intended that way, but my favorite place to get shredded chicken banh mi is Banh Mi Cafe. read more

Don't waste your time and money here. Horrible customer service and extremely LONG wait for your food. I've been here many times since they first opened, the customer service was great. Now that they're busy. They'll mixed up your order and your food. I've been waiting for more than 40mins for the third times I'm here. The receptionist has nasty attitude every time I asked for my food while they promised to have my food ready in 20mins. 50 mims past by and my food still not ready. I asked for refund and they said my food will be ready in 5mins, which did not happened. So I left with no refund nor food. Don't waste your time and your money. There are so many Banh Mi places close by. Go somewhere else. read more
