This was my second visit to Bangkok st. My fiancée and I ordered takeout off the dinner menu, we got pad Thai and cashew chili stir fry. The cashew chili dinner portion was really small, what I imagined the lunch portion would be like. The pad Thai portion was huge, enough for two people to share. We also got the wonton soup which is advertised as 4 wontons, but only had three and two giant pieces of bok choy stalk. The flavor of the pad Thai was a little strange too, almost bitter and sweet. Two stars for overall experience. read more

I really liked the pad thai. For the portions given, it is a fairly reasonable price! The waitress was very friendly and the food came quickly--probably because it was empty. I would come again read more

We had the s&s chicken. It was too salty, and the rice was slightly overcooked, cute atmosphere but the food was a little overpriced for the quality read more

Man I love this place. We've tried Thai food from around Cincy and for whatever reason the items I get here taste so much better than most other places. Service is always fast. Order is always ready by the time I get there to pick up. The Thai Holy Basil with chicken or beef is a great dish. read more

i am so disappointed with the service i had here for lunch today! i had to take my 7 year old daughter to the doctor today right next to this place. i was excited to eat here since it is a Lent Friday, and i can't eat meat, so i was looking forward to a good tofu pad thai. i ordered appetizers and soup for the 2 of us which came out timely. but that's where it all went downhill. within the 1 hour to wait for just the pad thai to come out, the server had poured water, cleared the other plates, and come back again to basically say 3 different times my noodles would be out soon. during that time, i witnessed another customer complain about getting the wrong order, and he had been waiting over 45 minutes for the simple small lunch order. i asked them to pack 1/2 my order to go before bringing it out, so i could eat at least 1/2 while it was hot and fresh. she screwed that up, and brought the whole thing in a to go carton. so i ate 1/2 out of the to go box as i sat there waiting for my check to be rung up. a table of 6 that had come in half hour before me was getting served their main dishes before and during the time she brought out my pad thai. i am upset because i have recommended this place for the taste of their pad thai several times the past couple of years. i will now tell everyone not to try it or go back. i gave 2 stars for the taste. they deserve 0 stars for the service. read more

This place has become my new go-to for pad thai, that is near Deer Park. The pad thai is flavorful, and has a sauce that is similar to others that I have had. The portion is plenty for almost two meals. The wait staff is very friendly. The thai spring rolls are also pretty good. The pad see u is also an excellent dish. read more

Red curry is delicious. It's slightly sweet but has a depth of flavor from spices. It is not very spicy/hot though if you ask for "Thai hot" it will set you on fire. This is the first Thai restaurant whose Thai hot (5) was too hot for my husband. He had massaman curry. Red rice is an optional substitute for white and it adds a great flavor to curries. Servers were very pleasant and present when needed. read more

I should not have come back here. The food has consistently gone down hill. Barely any meat. They dump sugar in the sauce and use canned vegetables in the stir fry. They give you a heaping mound of rice to make up for the lack of substantial food in their dishes. Loter read more

Cant believe all the times I've been here and haven't written a review. I love the Pho here . Either beef or chicken, both are excellent. I feel best in Cincinnati. When I try other spots I immediately realize they are not as good as Bangkok Street. The crispy chicken is excellent as well. Spring rolls rock here. So lucky they are close to our neighborhood. read more

Best Pad Thai in the area! Other food is not too bad but if you're going to try this place start by having the Pad Thai and then explore their other options. read more

Everything was great! Our favorite purely Thai restaurant. We had Yellow Curry Chicken, Cashew Chili Chicken (spicy and great), Papaya Salad, Chicken Satay and Pork Dumplings. read more

If you drove past this restaurant a million times, you have made a million mistakes. The food tastes like it comes from a 5 star restaurant! This is the best Thai food my wife and I have ever had! It will be a weekly dining spot for us for sure. You need this in your life! Pad Thai had a great balance of nut, lime tangy savory greatness. Don't fill up on dinner because the home made desserts are amazing. Do yourself a favor and order a macaron as a kick start to your after dinner experience (think of the macarons as a dessert appetizer). I highly suggest finishing the night with the lightly sweetened Forbidden Rice Coconut Pudding, your mouth will thank you. read more

I love all of their dishes and this place has become my go-to Thai restaurant! Infact, if you check in on Yelp you get a discount My 2 fav things to eat there are the pad Thai & forbidden rice pudding. Both are out of this world! read more

The sweet, iced tea was YUUUUMMM!!!! The food-tofu, veggies & red rice were outta sight!!!

We ate at Bangkok Street for the first time tonight and we were regulars at Mekong Thai. I have to say my Massaman Curry was the best I've ever eaten anywhere including Mekong. Fried Tofu and the fried dumpling appetizers were absoluitely delicious. At our table we also had Pad Thai and Holy Basil chicken which were both excellent but my Massaman Curry really was the best. just the right amount of everything and plenty of chicken in my dish. The rice pudding desert was to die for and my macaroon was the perfect blend of light and fluffy. We ate every bite of everything and usually we have take home and the portions were the same as Mekong Thai. I personally love the new decor it is brighter and more current. We will be going back and back again, had a wonderful meal. read more

Placed a carry out order with them today. Ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. Outstanding! The flavors, just enough crunch. I will be ordering from them again when I'm craving Thai food. read more

Stopped in last night with some friends who just rave about this place. This isn't the type of place that I would normally stop into since they do not have an extensive drink menu. Service was pleasant and willing to meet our needs. The place was quiet, so there wasn't too much of a need to hurry. I ordered the Panang Curry. It was fabulous. Far too often Thai Curry tends to be either too bitter or too sweet. This Curry was perfect for my taste buds. I only wish that they had free refills. I did not pay much attention to what the others at my table had because I was too busy woofing down my meal. We were in a bit of a hurry and did not try desserts. It seems that the chef makes the desserts himself. I was intrigued by the cheesecake options. I will have to try them at a later date. The prices were not bad at all, which allowed us to hit a local bar without breaking the budget. I will be back as often as possible and try everything. read more

Small, cozy place with a great selection, prompt service and good food. A wide array of appetizers and fresh, unique salads. Avoid the lunch hour - space is tight and it fills up fast. read more

Awesome obviously fresh Thai food! We had one of the red curry chicken dishes which was great, and my wife had a tofu dish which I'd even order some time. My daughter liked their chicken dumplings. We'll definitely make this one of our regulars. read more

Good food! Closer to kenwood mall, fried rice was good, masaman curry was great too, wish we could've been had little more coconut milk on it..would definitely try this again if I'm in the neighborhood read more

Sweet and sour fish was great! Service was slow but it was also july4. Will come back for the fish!!

Really great thai food. Friendly atmosphere and staff. I would recommend them to my friends

Great customer service. I asked for steamed tofu and vegies with a sauce that was on the menu. I truly appreciated the extra service

One of the best Thai restaurants around. The Pad See U and Woonsen are phenominal! Great service. We will be back very soon.

food was average if that, tom yum was salty fish sauce water with zero taste of galangal
