Food was delicious! The woman who seemed to be the owner was fast and efficient, which we appreciated. However, my husband felt a bit confused when he asked about the dessert (ice cream). It seemed like there may have been a misunderstanding--he was simply trying to learn about the ingredients since he's health-conscious, but didn't receive a clear answer. A small suggestion would be to take an extra moment to clarify customer questions, especially around ingredients, so guests feel fully heard and acknowledged. Aside from that, it was an overall pleasant and decent experience. read more

It was empty when we first arrived, so we weren't sure what to expect. It quickly filled shortly after we placed our orders, which was reassuring! The lady who greeted and seated us was very friendly and had a comforting energy around her. She kept our drinks refilled, though she was the only one working the floor. Most everything we had was really tasty. My only complaint was the chicken in my dish was very spongy/chewy. I couldn't eat most of it. But the person with me had a chicken dish and theirs was really great. Dessert was phenomenal! I will definitely be giving them another try. read more

Delivery via DoorDash: Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. Added extra beef and paid for it. Instead of adding the beef to the chicken which should have been more food, they replaced part of the chicken with the extra beef I paid extra for. This restaurant already serves small portions compared to when you eat in the restaurant and we are paying more. Now they don't add the extra food you pay for. What a strange way to treat your customers! read more

The noodle dishes have been too soupy and tangy lately and there never has been an ample amount of food for the price. The owner/waitress isn't 'the friendliness though she think she is. She's accommodating, just robotic. Bangkok St seems to be the spot for take out, but we know takeout leaves you with even less food and not usually in the best texture for consumption. read more

Again, love this place! I always get the Pad Thai, they have really mastered this one. The noodles are a little crispy and soft, a great combo. So flavorful and my favorite Pad Thai! The Pad Khing is also SO delicious. We made it very spicy and it was perfect, but definitely a lot of spice. Sadly, I'm allergic to coconut so I can't have the curry but the people I was with LOVED the green curry. We ordered the vegetable dumplings as well and were very impressed. All around a great meal, per usual. The owner of the restaurant is great! I highly suggest this hole in the wall. read more

Takeout is ALWAYS on point and if you're me the side of steam veggies for $3 is ALWAYS worth it. Husband and I frequent here. Kaeng daeng is spicy and always my pick but he mixes it up, never disappointed. read more

This was quiete the e prince! I was at Kenwood and I was looking for nearby places to eat and that's how I found this place. I honestly had no expectations since I never heard of it or saw it before. It seems to be like a small family business, and I loved it. The service was outstanding! There was only one lady do it all ( waiting on tables, welcoming, etc) and she had it all under control. Very sweet and attentive. The place is clean, neat, and very small but comfortable and well decorated. More importantly, the food is delicious!! I had the vegetable soup and my mum had the chicken fried rice, both dishes well flavorful and just yummy. The rice tasted way better than most places, very different kick to it. I will highly recommended for the food, the service and the price. Defiantly going back! read more

Met a friend here for lunch one time back in the old times, and I just realized I never left a review! They had small sized portions, but a small lunch price, and an incredibly robust flavor in their curries. The owner was very friendly and accommodating with substitutions, questions, and suggestions about what sat her restaurant apart from other Thai places. I ordered a curry with a fish substitution and it was fantastic, with layers of flavor that complimented the fish rather than overwhelmed it. I had a small salad to start the meal and what came out wasn't that small - in fact it would be a lunch "entrée" salad at some other places! My friend enjoyed her dish, and a few weeks later she placed a doordash order from here and they delivered a much larger (and suitably more expensive) dinner. I wish I had more experiences to share, but I'm happy to see them still sending out food and look forward to returning soon! read more

Had an average experience here. The prices are high for what it was (there were lunch specials though). The service was very slow (only one hostess who was also the only one waitress!). The food was fine... my pad Thai was a little too crispy and a little to hot (and I love spice). Sadly, I don't think I'll be back. read more

This is the best Thai restaurant in the city by leaps and bounds. There isn't a bad thing on the menu and I've tried well over half of it. Their Pad Thai is a gift every single time I eat it. I crave it most days... it's insane. That good! I also dig their blue ginger soup, hot n sour soup, fried rice, and regular stir fry sauce! This is one of the only Thai restaurants that knows how to do spicy! My dad can never seem to get enough, but at Bangkok St. he has met his match. He's basically sobbing every single time, but with a huge smile on his face. They do a 1-5 scale. I always get a 3 and it's pretty hot - I love spicy food, but a 4 is too much for me! 5 for my dad of course haha. read more

Bangkok St - Chicken Pad Thai, no bean sprouts, add carrots and mushrooms, spicy level 3 = tastebud explosion - Thai Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Extremely wonderful service! Great food and presentation. The apps are on the smaller side (we had the lady's purse and spring rolls) and not the stars of the night. The pad Thai was very good, we ordered it specifically not sweet. It did not come with many veggies, which I didn't mind but most others I've had do have some carrots or mushrooms. I had a pork dish which was very flavorful and served with my fav bean thread noodles - yum! We ordered the mango ice cream and cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was very good and actually was especially tasty with the mango ice cream. Unfortunately, the mango ice cream did come with a few bits of plastic in it... looked like part of whatever it was stored in... but it was comped and honestly, I'm not one to be bothered by that... especially since they claim all desserts are made in house. read more

If you haven't. You should. Driving around Cincinnati on our way back to Louisville and found this little hidden gem on yelp. It was the pork soup with the fried dumplings that really caught my attention. I am so glad I stopped in here for a bite to eat before heading home... It was amazing. Owner/hostess/waitress seemed to be from Thailand and was so sweet, nice and helpful. After ordering and receiving our food, it was very authentic! Definitely hit the spot and I will be returning here as soon as I go back up to Cincinnati! I only had one thing on the menu, but I can assure you It will keep me coming back for more! read more

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Hands down. It has been a long hard search for good Thai food, and I have finally found someone to make pad Thai the way it should be made. I came to pick up some lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch specials. The portions are pretty good sized for lunch. I will be coming back to try other dishes, but so far I am happy with the pad Thai here. I got level 5 spicy...prob should dial it down to level 3. Good food!! 9/15/18 today I was a little disappointed in Bangkok. I ordered one of my usuals. The noodles were extra soggy and falling apart. The beef pho didn't come with the sliced beef but instead it came with shredded beef. I usually enjoy coming here. But not today. read more

This is my favorite Thai place in Cincinnati. There has not been anything that I had here that had upset me, in fact, everything I have had here has been pretty amazing. Have to admit, their spicy is pretty spicy. Outside of that, Could eat anything. Their Pad Thai are a safe bet, but would encourage anyone to adventure through the menu and try any of their hot plates. Some might become a regular for me. read more

Great Thai restaurant in Cincinnati! Very affordable and quick for lunch during the work week. Came here with my co-worker, I had the vegetable stir fry spice level 3 (on a 1-5 scale)- it was delicious! The environment is great, not noisy, not too crowded, quick service, and very clean. I would definitely recommend this as a great lunch or dinner spot. Extremely affordable for the amount of food you get! read more

My go to for Thai takeout. Good portion sizes and the flavor is on point. Not to mention the staff is so nice on top of everything.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I have had much better Thai Cuisine; the portions are small and the food itself does not look appetizing and the taste is lacking. I tried the Vegetable Dumplings, not bad, the Ginger Chicken was not good at all. read more

Always have a delicious takeout meal from here. The Thai iced tea is the best! Employees are friendly too.

I've only gotten takeout from this place so far, but I can't wait until I can try those place out for dine in. I've gotten almost all of their appetizers and they have all been excellent. My favorite thing by far is their yellow curry. I am a yellow curry addict! I used to live in Dayton and had some favorite Thai places up there. When I moved down to Cinci, I hadn't found a Thai place that pleased me quite as much as my Dayton places. But I am pretty sure Bangkok St will be my new Thai place! The dishes are delicious at any spice level. I'm looking forward to trying the clay pot rice dish when I get to dine in, but for now, I'm perfectly content with my go-to order of Chicken Satay and Yellow Curry. read more

I ordered Tom Yum Soup and Sweet and Sour Chicken for take out. I felt sick and vomited everything a couple hours later.

Their food is actually spicy which I love. Super yummy! Love the dishes with Thai basil the most.

I enjoyed the basil fried rice and panang curry. We ordered level 3 and it was little too spicy for the fried rice. The portions here are about average. The food was good. I liked that there were fresh veggies in both the panang and the fried rice. This a small cute restaurant good for a couple but not large enough for big groups i think. They do have some off street parking. read more

I knew I'd like this place when I saw the cashier. She used to work at one of my favorite Thai spots on the west side. The decor was appetite priming and I liked the "shotgun" set up of the seating. Having visited Thailand a little over a month prior to dining in this establishment I felt like Americans are really missing out on the authentic stuff. After I told the cashier I went she smiled and commented on how I had the "authentic" stuff. In Thailand they use red chilies for EVERYTHING! Here they used a chili powder that I could see in my meal. For taste it was definitely convincing but did not measure up to all of the eats I had while in Thailand. With that said the food was still good and I'd go back. I've driven past this place dozens of times and I'm not sure what made me stop this time but I'm glad I did! Not so humbly submitted, Michael C. read more

I came here with a Thai friend who highly recommends the restaurant. I tried the crispy salad as an appetizer. It is good but it's essentially tempura vegetables with a light sauce on it, not quite what I was expecting when ordering from the "salad" section of the menu. My friend ordered the papaya salad as her appetizer. I tried a little bit and it was so good. I would definitely order that if I go back. I had the Mor Din for my dinner and I loved it. The sauce came on the side so you could add as much or as little as you like. For dessert we shared coconut ice cream and sticky rice with jackfruit. I absolutely loved the ice cream and I would go back just for that! The service was a little slow because there was only one person to wait all the tables, answer the phone, and run the cash register. I think there was only one cook as well. The waitress was very nice and she answered all of our questions we had when ordering. As long as you're not in a hurry, this is definitely a place to try! read more

Our neighbor said that his family loves Bagkok Street, so we decided to give it a go. It was fabulous! Very simple and small restaurant, but clean and attractive. Excellent stylized mural of Bangkok across from a huge wall of mirrors. We started with the gyo tod (fried wonton), then kao pad (chicken fried rice), gyo moo (pork wonton), and finally, the coconut ice cream with jackfruit. Everything was wonderful. Quite possibly the best Thai food in Cincinnati. We ordered two green curries and it reminded us of being back on the West Coast where Thai food is phenomenal. It is also run by women, so you are supporting a female run business. read more

Fantastic food, quick service, nice quite lunch. I recommend the crispy pad thai and shrimp scallion pancakes!

This place was incredible. My partner and I stopped in for lunch on a whim, and it was phenomenal. Excellent curry and noodles, easy to make the noodles GF when requested. Don't skip the forbidden rice pudding especially on a cold day! So great, will be back many times. read more

This little strip mall location could be easily overlooked. The giant Buffalo Wild Wings across the street sucks up a lot of business in this area. The parking around this place is weird as well, only a tiny bit in front and a much larger amount in back. Only about 40 seats inside, and one server taking care of an almost full house on a Friday night. Oh, and yet another Asian restaurant that feels obliged to serve sushi (please don't order it, and maybe they'll stop this nonsense). We like the fried shrimp cakes, moo deang and fried rice, nothing too unusual for a Thai place but satisfying. What put it over the top was a terrific chili sauce, not stuff out of a bottle but something they concocted themselves. You have to request it on the side, but definitely do it. It makes everything that touches it so much better. It's also a good bargain, $20 per person including appetizer and alcohol. read more

I would give this place 10 if I could! My husband and I have celebrated our last three valentines days and anniversaries here, and go on a somewhat regular basis. The food is always delicious and is very consistent, and all desserts are made in house! The rib appetizer and the cheesecake are standouts, though my favorite dessert is the forbidden rice pudding. PLUS THEY HAVE BUBBLE TEA! Side note; my in-laws checked it out (based on our glowing reviews) and were not thrilled.
