The pad see ew and chicken satay to go

The food was delicious! I got everything to go and I would say solid choice about an 8/10! Because of the affordable price and how quickly my order was prepared, overall I would highly recommend this place!

Chicken pad see ew and mango sticky rice
Olivia Z.

This hit so hard. I was craving Thai food so bad so I caved and ordered delivery. I got the pad see ew and mango sticky rice. The noodles were super chewy and there was the perfect level of savory/sweetness. Although I wish the pad see ew had a bit more "wok-smokiness", there was a good portion and with a decent quantity of chicken. It also wasn't super greasy, which I appreciated. The mango sticky rice was also so good. The mangoes were so sweet and perfectly ripe (I wish there was more!), the rice super chewy and perfectly sweet, and there was so much coconut sauce! I couldn't stop eating and now I'm so full but so satisfied. I will definitely be ordering from here again :) Ratings Chicken pad see ew: 4.5/5 Mango sticky rice: 5/5

Pad See Ew Noodles Panang Curry

Delicious! We ordered the pad see ew and the panang curry, which were both very flavorful and great. While the serving size is on the smaller side, this place offers great thai food for reasonable prices (both of our dishes were around 12-14 each!) This place is a smaller business, so parking spots might be limited but they also do takeout Would return again!

I was craving some Thai food when I saw this place nearby. There was parking though it can be busy during rush hours. The ambiance was nice as it was not too loud and good for families. For food, I got the pad thai chicken and pad see ew. The pad thai chicken was good though the noodles were a bit chewy, and the flavor was not as savory. The pad see ew was delicious and a favorite; the only thing was the oiliness but overall, still yummy.

We have been eating here for years! The service and food is hard to beat. The employees have been so incredibly kind. I love that they recognize us when we walk in and give us a warm greeting. The green curry here is my all time favorite. I love the fresh veggies they use. It's perfect every time. Another staple item is the Bangkok side walk. Egg, meat, rice, yum! When I want soup, I love the wonton soup. It's warm and comforting. We have ordered both dine in and takeout. When we dine in the staff is attentive and helpful. The restaurant is clean and my two year old loves looking at the fish tank. For takeout, they always get our order right. See you again soon!

Pineapple fried rice

Got this delivered. And payed around $20 ! Amount of food for the price, stellar! I was skeptical of the pineapple fried rice, I'm not a pineapple on pizza person, but this did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed and indulged. Would definitely go back !

Spicy Beef Salad 9/10
Deb H.

I ordered the exact same thing I did last time and they were about the same! Panang Curry - 9/10 outstanding flavor but only chicken and green peppers in a lot of curry Spicy Beef Salad - 9/10 - super flavorful dressing and the beef was more tender than last time! Just wish they had more lettuce & tomatoes Pad Thai - 7/10 still kind of bland and all the noodles stuck together Pad See ew - 9/10 really tasty! They pack items great for delivery! Excellent service!!

Wow, this place is amazing. The staff is friendly. They're welcoming very knowledgeable. Gave good food recommendations. The food came out hot. It was delicious the perfect spice. The restaurant was clean. I had to use the restroom and the restroom was clean. It was accessible. The staff is great overall great Thai food great prices Definitely will be coming back.

Menu

Be careful with this business. They charge different amount than what they have on their menu. When I asked why, they said it's 3% transaction fee because I paid with credit card which is added on each item, then also charge you tax on those transaction fee. It doesn't say anywhere on their menu that the price is 3% more when you pay with credit card. This is a scam. They didn't give me an itemized bill before I paid. They only hand me the handheld machine to pay and didn't see the itemized bill until I printed it out. Their food is nothing extra ordinary and expensive for what they charge. The place is on the corner of Newport Blvd and Wilson. Never again.

(You can get on the waitlist via Yelp). Hubbie and I were thankful to have gotten there early. Once inside, we were excited by their extensive menu. Everything sounded so authentic, we decided to explore out of our usual Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. We ordered their Thai Boat Noodle, Crying Tiger (ribeye steak), and a fish soup (can't remember the name). The best was their Thai boat noodle, hands down. It's almost like pho with a giant bone in short rib. Their crying tiger was delicious as well. The fish soup has an acquired taste, and pretty spicy even with the normal spice choice. The place is so cute! Clean, well managed, and with trendy decor. I love the spaciousness of the tables, doesn't feel too crowded. And even with a busy restaurant, their service is excellent. I am already studying the menu, and planning my next visit!

It's all coated in that classic pad Thai sauce, slightly sweet with a little tang to it. Zabb was a beautifully decorated restaurant, I felt like I was in the Thai royal palace unfortunately the food was too sweet, I won't describe them again as it was described in details in my deleted review. Why is it OK to say German virus/German Rubella bc it was discovered by a German scientist but not if it involves other nationality about the Covid19 virus? Zaab Thai aside from being very sweet which is frequently the case w Thai food, I said the service was good but the food was not authentic bc all the help I saw was not Thai, I just explain why that could be the reason why the food was what it was, I did not comment on how anyone physically looked, now that would have justified deletion, btw other social media gave the creators a chance to appeal, I have my posts reinstated many times that's the democratic way. Why should anybody be bothered by facts? I'm not offended if somebody asked me if I were Asian, I just came back from Hanoi, I was even asked if I were Russian? I just laughed it off bc it was funny. I mean I haven't been to Thailand yet haha, but I feel like this is as close as I'm gonna get. Specifically their khao soi absolutely clears every other khao soi I've ever tried. It's SO rich, creamy, and I didn't know such strong flavors could exist in a dish. From the perfectly cooked egg noodles to the most tender flavorful chicken to all the little veggie garnishes, but especially that spicy curry broth, wow it's truly the perfect dish. I've ordered this one every time I come here and even for takeout, and it's consistent in how perfect it is every time. Second favorite dish here is the massaman with hangar steak. The curry in this one looks similar to the one used in the khao soi, but it actually tastes completely different! The curry is a bit lighter which could be better if the khao soi might be too rich for you, and the hangar steak is definitely the star of the show. Cooked perfectly and amazing with both the rice and roti that comes with it. Mee klook noodles are a bit sweeter if you like that sweet savory combo. The desserts here are soooo good here too and actually feel worth the money. Service is always so friendly, even one time we got seated 45 minutes before their closing and we felt really bad, but the servers were so kind and we always feel taken care of here. Will never stop recommending Hanuman to everyone I know!!! I feel like the word has gotten out already so there's definitely always a line, but trust me it's soo worth it!!!

Still on soft opening mode so the menu was somewhat limited. The lovely owner Bew is so sweet and we learned that several members of her family has been in the restaurant industry in SoCal for a long time (from San Diego to LA and now OC). We ordered the following: * Fish cakes for appetizer, love the sauce that came with it. * Holy Basil with Crispy Pork Belly. This was full of flavor, and really love the sauce and everything that came with it. Definitely scored high on craveability. The only request I had which I relayed to the owner is - the pork belly was a little on the tough side. I made suggestions for them to try to remedy that. * Pad Thai with Shrimp was on point. Hubs enjoyed and devoured it in no time. * Thai Tea and Green Tea were on point as well. They have desserts coming soon that we cannot wait to try. I forgot to take pics of the menu so I took screenshots of menu from their website. Would definitely be back to support Bew at Nai Tong. Go check them out!!!

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. While my food adventures in OC have largely been successful,…read moreit was inevitable that I'd end up coming across a place that so many folks like that just didn't hit the mark for me. However, I never would've thought that place was going to be Siam Station. After hearing good things about their spot in Cupertino/the Bay Area from several friends, it felt rather fortuitous when we randomly came across their original location - and with no line in sight! Inside, they've got a cozy sort of vibe and it's cool how they have some outdoor tables set-up as well. As for the menu, it didn't seem all that extensive at a glance, but it has all of the staples you'd expect to find among their appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried noodles, noodle soups, curry dishes, entrees, and desserts. -- ZESTY WINGS - Deep Fried Chicken Wings Topped with Crispy Basil and Served with Chili Sauce Easily our favorite dish of the night. The wings were really crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside. Even though there wasn't much of the sauce, which was flavorful but not that spicy, it was fine - the wings were still great without it. -- KHAO SOI with Chicken - Yellow Curry Broth with Egg Noodles and Chicken and Served with Red Onions, Lime, and Pickles Ehh...this was okay, I guess. On the plus side, the chicken was tender and I thought the broth was pretty good - not the best I've had, but better than most. That said, I didn't love the egg noodles, especially the crispy ones after they had soaked up the broth. -- PAD KEE MOW (Drunken Noodles) with Crispy Pork - Flat Rice Noodles Stir Fried with Spicy Basil Garlic Sauce, Bell Peppers, Tomato, Sweet Onion, and Thai Basil I was super excited for this, but it was disappointing. The first thing we noticed was how pale it was and, sadly, the taste matched. Whether it be their garlic sauce or some chilis, this needed more. As for the pork, it was definitely crispy, but a few pieces bordered on dry/burnt. -- MANGO STICKY RICE A little hit, a little miss. The mango was fine (decently sweet, soft), but the sticky rice left us a little wanting. Mainly, I didn't love the glob of coconut cream, was it was pretty thick and viscous, which gave the rice a weird texture/coating to it. As far as service goes, it was uneventfully good. Although there was one point where it was hard to hail someone, it was mostly because the restaurant got increasingly busy and one of the servers was trying to help a group sort something out with their order. Otherwise, our food came out relatively quick and the workers were rather efficient with everything. Despite how we left feeling bummed out by our experience, it had more to do with being underwhelmed than the food actually being "bad". Admittedly, we came in with high hopes/expectations from all of the hype we had heard and it probably didn't help that we had gone to Manaao the night before, which is one of my favorite Thai restaurants anywhere. What's more, I wonder if we just didn't get the best that Siam Station has to offer. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to coming back to find out (and potentially writing an update), but perhaps I'll just try my luck at their spot in Cupertino that my friends like so much.
