    Deviant Sandwich

Im typically the type of person to not order out breakfast because its hard for me to find value in something I can make at home. But that's NOT the case here. The sandwiches at Bandit are super yummy and unique! I love the hot salsa they offer and love the crispy tater tots as a side! Came here on a Tuesday morning and was immediately helped. The food also came out super fast! I love the location of bandit, tucked away but so large!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was luckily not too packed. There aren't many tables at this location so definitely try to come with a smaller group of people. We ordered the Slinger and the Fancy. My favorite was the Slinger. The hash browns inside added a nice crunch to the burrito, paired well with the ketchup. My only complaint is that one half was dripping in what seemed to be oil. The Fancy tasted good as well, especially with the addition of the impossible patty. The bun was a very nice, soft texture. Overall would definitely recommend this breakfast burrito spot!

I loved Bandit on Geary! It's currently closed, and while I do go to Heist on Post, will occasionally go to the Dogpatch Bandit. Both breakfast burritos are amazing, but Bandit's Captain Crunch has smaller/less taters in the actual burrito, which I like. The housemade chorizo is, of course, amazing. The portion is so large! I would love to try different items, but I keep coming back for the Captain Crunch breakfast burrito. Why fix it if it ain't broken? Service is wonderful.

Crispy Fish -- flaky, crispy and warm fish fillet sandwich. The sourness of the pickled veggies compliments the tartar sauce so well. The sandwich came out fresh. Not a lot of seating inside. Hope to try all the other sandwiches and burgers next time. Everything on the menu seems appealing and delicious to try out!

Came by a Thursday morning a few minutes after opening. The staff was very kind, they took my order very fast and kindly told me before paying that it would take around 10minutes to have my order ready, which I appreciated. Ordered the bandit sandwich, tater tots and a cappuccino. The tater tots were freshly friend, crispy outside and soft on the inside. The cappuccino was ok, but good. The coffee was a bit more acidic than what I typically like. The bandit sandwich, I was very excited for, but I was not a fan. The bread didn't taste fresh, it was less fluffy than I expected. Personally found the sandwich overall to be a bit bland. However, they have a bunch of interesting sandwiches on their menu that I would be down to try a next time. Would revisit to try another sandwich or a burrito!

Came here with several friends on a weekend to the Dogpatch location for a to-go breakfast sandwich to eat at the park. It was pretty busy inside and took a while (20 min) to get our orders. I got the brekkie, which was pretty similar in taste to a Breakfast Little burrito (definitely a compliment). The eggs were very creamy and I enjoyed the hint of chives inside! Bread was nicely toasted. It's a little too cramped inside, so would probably come back and do takeout again if I was in the area. The only wacky thing was somehow the person taking our order managed to call everyone's name wrong in our group.. I guess you gotta have some fun on the job sometimes :)

Had so much potential to be amazing breakfast burritos! Unfortunately both leaned too salty for my taste. The ingredients were cooked well and I loved all the flavors -- just needed less salt. Would come back for other offerings as the whole menu looks delicious. Staff were friendly and the service was very quick -- burritos only took around 10 min to be ready. There's a bit of seating inside but not too much (I took my order to go).

Came here with my partner to get some breakfast to start off our day! It was my first time, but my partner has come a few times and enjoys the broke millionaire sandwich! I got the Fancy Sandwich and added bacon to it. It was absolutely delicious and everything I wanted in a breakfast sandwich! My partner tried the Captain Crunch burrito - it was quite good as well and the portion size was large! We also enjoyed the tater tots, which were delightfully crunchy and perfectly salted! The service was also great as well. I also enjoyed the ambiance - we sat on stools at a high top table. The space is on the smaller side, but still large enough to accommodate all customers dining and waiting! Overall, I would definitely come back again !

It's a 4 because every single breakfast sandwich is a 5 and lunch items are more of a 3. I've been ordering take out from this place for over 7 years and it's the best greasy and satisfying breakfast sandos ever and they're even worth the trek from my place when I'm feeling a little weekend bike ride. I decided to swing by here to try their lunch and it was more of a 3. The individual components of the mofo burger are great but they're a bit inconsistent with how they lay everything on the burger, so one part can be super soggy and have condiments and another part could be super dry. The ratios are just all over the place - some lettuce piled high in this section but not that, etc. My husband got an OG burger and his patty was perfectly cooked and mine was almost too well done. We've done it a couple times and lunch is super inconsistent. Again, breakfast items are 100% every single time.

    The Brekkie Sandwich and Horchata
    Devin M.

I was craving a breakfast sandwich and a Google search led me to a cool little hole-in-the-wall spot in the Dogpatch. I got the Brekkie Sandwich ($13.95) Includes: scrambled eggs, house-made pork sausage, cheddar, smashed taters, caramelized onions, and jalapeño relish - and it was really good. The horchata was solid too. There's limited seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go place. Staff was friendly. It's pet-friendly, which some people will love - but personally, I could've done without it. I'll return for sure!

    Cheeseburger and fries

My coworker noticed this burger place close to our work, and so we just had to try it. It had stellar reviews, pics looked amazing. I ended up getting their regular cheeseburger with regular fries, both of which were fantastic. The cheeseburger just the right delicious, greasy meat, with the right amount and ratio of lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, pickles and cheese. It was just a match made in heaven. It was extremely satisfying. The fries were good, although not super amazing or memorable. The food came out pretty quickly, perfect for our lunch break. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom situation. After eating a greasy burger, my hands were soooo dirty. There is no public restroom, even for customers. This is a burger place where it is absolutely necessary to wash your hands after. Sigh. I guess I'll have to do take out here only. It's such a great burger, love it so much. Just need a sink to wash my hands, is that too much to ask for?!

One of the best breakfast burritos I've had. The tortilla immediately stood out -- high quality, soft, and not your average wrap. The balance of rice, avocado, and chicken was perfect, allowing every ingredient to shine without overpowering the others. It felt nourishing yet incredibly flavorful, which isn't easy to pull off. This burrito completely changed my perspective on "healthy" food. First time I've ever felt compelled to write a Yelp review -- that's how good it was.

YUMMMM! SUCH A SOLID BREAKFAST SANDWICH! really lovely spot in a corner near dolores park! i had the fancy breakfast sandwich, which had a welcoming sweetness from the tomato jam, and a nice array of textures and flavors that overall contributed to a good mouthfeel for a quality breakfast sandwich. i'm not super partial to brioche on sandwiches due to overwhelming bread ratio but that's just a personal preference thing. loved the mistral vibe, super quick service, overall great!
