Came here for a quick lunch during work but the food did take a while to come out. They gave us a free appetizer which was pretty good. Got the Penang Curry with Hot level spice but it wasn't that spicy to me. (I am pretty weak to spice). The noodle dish I got Pad See Ew was flavored well and you can taste a bit of the fire. The Pad Thai on the other hand was just okay. The service was super nice though!

Do you like Thai cuisine , excellent service and a reasonably priced meal ? Look no further than Bamboo ridge . We were the only ones here this Wednesday night, but they did just open recently (there is another location on Allen St ) . I got the Thai basil noodles with chicken and crabmeat Rangoon (real crab , none of that imitation stuff ) . Wow! , all food was so flavorful . My dining companion loved her beef Bahn mi as well . They gave us complimentary mango sticky rice dessert and 10% off to dine again . It was a delicious meal that I will be dreaming about tonight !!!

I went with my usual favorite with the lemongrass beef banh mi, while my wife opted for the chicken ramen. We ordered it for pick up and it was ready so quick. I am a creature of habit, when I find something I like, I usually eat that every time. That's the case with the banh mi. The flavor of the beef is phenomenal here. The toppings are always fresh here too, making this sandwich one of the best. My wife also loved her chicken ramen and said it was one the best she's ever had. Excited to see how the new bistro they are moving into soon keeps churning out great food and excellent service.

First thing to note is if you're coming here parking choices are limited as it's on the corner of Broadway and School St. I believe I heard they're moving into the Village Of Lancaster that should help, but FYI. Arrived about the time my food was supposed to be ready ( 25 Mins after ordering ) and was told it'd be right out. Sat and waited another 10 minutes and finally received my food. Dug in to the Banh Mi and while it was tasty, it was half cold....probably due to the fact it sat and waited while the spring rolls I ordered were ready ( which were piping hot when I got them ). Tasty sandwich but how hard can it be to time the food together if this is what you do all day / every day. Disappointed. Gave them 3 Stars because the food itself was tasty, but wanted to give them 5 Stars but simply wasn't enough to compel me to give them another try

This place is not far from my hotel, and I'm glad I came. The service was great- I was seated right away, and they explained to me how it works with ordering. The food came out freshly made to order and piping hot. It was pretty busy for a Sunday late afternoon, and yet I didn't have to wait long before my spring roll and pho arrived. The portions are decent, the quality is good, and the pricing is fair. They take cash or Canadian debit here. There's also plenty of free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area again, and I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for Vietnamese cuisine.

Plus, the noodles were stuck together like one big tasteless, noodle brick. I couldn't even pull it easily with chopsticks. I thought I would cry seeing all the happy looking customers around. Most of them ordered soups. My partner's pho looked quite good, but, as he put it, "the broth was below average, the rest of the ingredients were average." Regarding my Hủ Tiếu Xào Quảng Đông/Guangdong-style Stir-fried Rice Noodles (number 606 on the menu), I ate all the broccoli. The shrimp were small and lime juice helped. I totally don't appreciate flower-shaped carrots (didn't eat them, plus celery as well), and the worst, the blob of noodles had no taste whatsoever. For me, it was simply a disappointing experience, but the menu is extensive, and it certainly does not lack a variety of delicious dishes.

We're the toughest crowd. Plus, Yelp reviews could be very informative. The restaurant has a casual, low key atmosphere. The interior is a bit worn, but rather clean and tidy. We snuggled into one of the available booths and felt quite comfortable. The ordering process was easy and convenient. You simply write down your order on a slip of paper. Don't forget about anything. We took our time browsing the menu, and no one rushed us, which I really appreciated. The complimentary tea was, as always, a nice, welcoming gesture. We ordered two soups. The large size was actually massive. The 'Seafood Pho' was not bad, but I wouldn't order it again. I enjoyed beef broth, all the greens and veggies. Unfortunately, the selection of protein was rather disappointing. A bunch of tiny shrimp (some of them had a fishy taste), carved squid, surimi and something similar to fish cake were just not enough to be happy about. It should be called 'Frozen Seafood Medley Pho'. The best choice will definitely be to order one of the Beef Pho options. My partner opted for beef noodle soup Bún bò Huế. It was meaty with lots of beef, pork and blood pudding. I think his only complaint was that the soup wasn't spicy enough. What happened was, he didn't specify the spiciness level when ordering and our server simply didn't bother to ask. So it was mild and a little bland. The Egg Meatloaf / Chả Trứng was something new to me. The moist and delicate texture, with its distinct pork and mushroom flavor, was very good. It was a truly inspirational dish and someday I'd like to try making it. You pay at the counter.
