Beef teriyaki absolutely disgusting! To say the least!

Went out to get some apps and a drink and the beef teriyaki had long nasty tendons throughout the beef, I asked for my money back and they said no way. You ate most of it . ... R u kidding me??? Bar tender said I was just looking for my money back.... Seriously

Buffet back Today 5/11/23

Buffet back today. New Authentic Sichuan items. Fresh Sushi. Desert. New Bar display. Wisky. Bourbon. Vodka. Great smile all around in building.

Front desk... Owner waiting for business. It was dead, why was it dead, maybe it's Tuesday

Ordering online is a challenge, service they use is terrible Arrived at restaurant and spoke with owner. Didn't like I was complaining about service. I still ordered, owner didn't know the menu, you're the owner I assume you know your menu. Asked to alter one dish, said no, I asked if she can ask chef. No problem. Just terrible experience, the food wasn't that great. Would i return, probably not. You can get better sushi in Malden Ma.

Blink and you'll miss it but the only problem I found with the lunch buffet is I didn't find it sooner! Amazing food and great service!

Tasty food, unlimitted refils at buffet (during lunch) and good enough atmosphere (you might expect more for this price).

May 15, 2026 I'm…read morewriting this a week retrospectively from my experience, since I've been through a few things medically in the last week and needed time to think about our family's experience at Karma-Burlington. First - our server, Kendra A. Was really good and kind. She worked hard for the 7 of us and my few criticisms don't reflect on her at all. First - let me say that Karma/Burlington is not set up properly for large parties. Our table was located right next to the kitchen door. It is neither a gracious nor a comfortable place to have a large dinner together. Secondly, the table was both too narrow and not long enough to accommodate people and large plates of food. In other words, it was cramped and because of that, not nearly as welcoming as it could have been. Third - the music in the restaurant is obnoxious. It was always on the edge of being too loud and it's directed at a younger crowd .... People who either don't care about assaults on their hearing or who don't care about being able to have meaningful conversations at moderate levels. Now... let's talk about the food. Generally, it was really good, though their Pu-Pu platter for two sucks for the price ($37.00 each). There were no egg-rolls on it, only two fried shrimp, a stack of boneless Chinese rib pieces, and some chicken fingers - which were overly breaded and not worth eating. I also counted four crabs Rangoon pieces on each platter. Not exactly a generous offering!! I'd definitely skip this appetizer next time. Now - we chose, as a family, to eat communally - passing plates around and sharing everything. I've attached the photo of the receipt, so that you can see what we ordered. Three plates stood out as exceptional: the Coffee-braised short ribs were really delicious. Fattening, but amazing. The second was the Beef with mixed vegetables - one of my perennial favorites at Karma. The third was the Mongolian Beef, which was tender, savory, and delicious. The Stir-fried Yee Mein was not memorable and I'd not order it again. My eldest daughter ordered the Philly Maki and the Cucumber and Avocado Maki. Both were good but very much not exceptional. A number of us ordered the Hot & Sour soup and it was very good - as it usually is. The soup was served piping hot and quickly, which made it a small delight. The service we received was good across the board and the restaurant cannot be faulted for how busy they were.... Which I have to say did not at all impact the quality of our meal. If you want to go to Karma-Burlington as a group, tell the manager that you do not want the table where we were! Other than my specific concerns, it was a very good experience and I'm happy we went.

We booked our table in advance, and the reservation process was smooth--they did take a credit card to hold the table, which was totally fine and gave us peace of mind for a busy night. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake, and at the end of the meal they brought it out with birthday candles for my daughter, which made her feel so special. That thoughtful touch really meant a lot to us. The food was excellent. We loved the sushi--fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Yin Yang Chicken was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The drinks were also fantastic and paired really well with the food. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and drinks, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service never felt rushed. The atmosphere and ambiance were lively, vibrant, and perfect for a celebration. You could really feel the energy of the place. Overall, Karma was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner--great food, great service, and a great vibe. We'll definitely be back for future celebrations and nights out. Highly recommend!

The layout of the restaurant is similar to the Brookline location, with the private booths on the right and special booths on the left, main seating area in the middle, and the bar seating towards the back. Only difference is the Brookline location has those cool matcha whisk structures, while this location has cool honeycomb structures. I would've loved to experience sitting in one of those. I always like to eat spicy so of course I got the Kyushu Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. As always, broth is so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The ramen texture is my favorite, good amount of softness and waviness. The boiled egg is marinated just right, not too salty or sweet. The chashu pork is tender. I wanted to try their version of the spicy cucumbers. It's REALLY spicy. But also very good. The flavor reminds me of the Chinese chili oil sweet potato noodles, very spicy, kind of salty, and a strong taste of vinegar. I love snacking on it. The takoyaki is the best of course, perfectly soft and tender, with thin bonito shavings and great sauce. The fries are essentially seasoned the same way. Salted fries with the takoyaki sauces and bonito. The combo works very well together. Thai tea was good and service was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll stop by for another bowl.

Yum!! We went back to Kyuramen, very hungry and eager to try a variety of menu items. We thought…read moreabout trying one of the combo options, but I ended up ordering the curry ramen, and upgrading it for $7 to include a Thai tea and bao bun. The bun was delicious, with tender pork and a flavorful sauce and I loved having the Thai tea to sip on. We also ordered the cucumber salad to share and it was nice and fresh and spicy. My curry ramen was delicious and hearty. My partner ordered the #2 and I really liked the pork in his bowl, I preferred it over the tonkatsu in mine. We ended our meal with matcha tiramisu and during the current promotion, we won an order of popcorn chicken to redeem on our next visit. The restaurant is cozy and they make use of the small space with their honeycomb wall. There are lots of employees working, so service is quick and we were able to call our sever to the table with a button when we wanted to order and pay.

We had Kevin as a server and he was funny and recited the menu sooo perfectly, he could be a cars salesman and I'd buy the car he's selling! We started with the Cesar salad for 2 and my husband got the lobster bisque- 10/10 for all! Next the food came, perfectly cooked, perfectly explained and plated! We each got steak (of course) with the mooo flight sides, added grilled broccolini and my husband got bone marrow - 10000/100000 for all. Let's just say we brought home so much leftovers because we wanted to try everything and are both dieting! Yes, we were definitely overfilled and could barely breathe but desert? Needed to happen. We went w the fresh baked cookies and milk - chefs kiss!! We will be back. Maybe next year for another anniversary but we will return! Perfect setting, atmosphere and service!

This is really a 2.5 star, but the our bartender, Elise, tried so hard to make it right I've rounded up. Positives: The valet is friendly, attentive and even asked if we were celebrating something special. The car was retrieved promptly with a smile. My cosmo was very well made, in an adult size martini glass. $20 is what I was expecting from a high end steak restaurant. Wine, $18 is a generous pour. The bar is a good size and seats are cushioned. The complimentary bread is delicious and the chocolate cake is yummy. Disappointments: The wagyu beef dumplings, $31 for 5, were overwhelmingly dumpling and minimally beef. The beef was tasty, as was the soy ginger sauce, but the dumplings themselves were too thick and as the top half had no beef, they were too chewy and dense. The prime bone-in dry aged ribeye, $98, was ordered medium. After cutting into it, it was clear it was very undercooked, closer to a rare/medium rare. We ordered a side of bearnaise, $4, which did not arrive with the dish. When the recooked meat came back, the flavor was good, but the meat itself was dry and chewy. This should have been melt-in-your-mouth good, but it was not even close. We left most of it behind. They did take it off the bill (but not the sauce), and topped off our wine glasses to compensate for the shortfall. Even without the cost of the ribeye, the bill was $150. It makes me sad to say we will not be back and will continue on our quest to find a restaurant who offers a quality steak cooked to perfection. For now, that will be my grill at home.

This is a nice antidote to what way TOO MANY "Asian" restaurants are like in the greater Boston…read morearea: slick, prettified and exoticized decor, inflated pricing and mediocre, bland and generally dumbed-down tourist food. This place is none of those things---the interior is simple and dare I say, well worn. But that's the whole point, you feel like you're in an authentic immigrant family restaurant, which it appears to be---a very very sweet and kind lady seems to be the only server in this place (we went on a weeknight, so maybe on a Friday/Sat/Sun it's more crowded and there are more staff) and her husband mans the cash register by the door. Old school! Food is solid and authentic, and refreshingly gimmick-free. What you see is what you get. Shockingly, the prices are about the same as in the Korean places in the food court at H-Mart down the road in Burlington...but you get more and better quality food! And they don't appear to have an alcohol license, which is kind of a good thing because they don't try to upsell you with their drink menu, which in Asian restaurants tend to be pretty lousy mass-market water-beers (sometimes just with Asian labels on similar swill) at craft-beer prices anyhow. Bimbibap was quite unique: rice was served on a separate bowl, while the actual main bowl was full of veggies and meat and egg. Very nice contrast to most places' bimbibap being 80% rice and 20% veggies/meat. Came with a small side of miso soup. UPDATE, one week later: Came back to try out the Korean BBQ. For 3 people, we ordered 3 of the BBQ menu items, came out to a reasonable $100 or so before tip since we just had the complimentary toasted brown rice tea (hyeonmi-cha) and ice water. It was just the right amount of food for an evening meal (more voractious eaters would probably want an additional 1-2 dishes) and the lady came to our table to cook the food for us, ensuring that nothing would be overcooked. The short rib was easily the best, followed by the bulgogi, and the squid with pork belly and veggies was pretty good not great (it was interestingly cooked over the open flame on a square of aluminum foil). Everything was perfectly marinated, tender and juicy. Ventilation was good, so our clothes did not reek of roasted meat afterwards---some places have weak fans, this one did not. Service was again impeccable, gracious and speedy...very nice warm vibes, not cold or perfunctory like some places. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Decided since we were in the area, the lady and I would give it a go! Still the best available in the area IMO for non-AYCE traditional style. They cook it for you so if you aren't KBBQ savvy, they got you! The wife is awesome she's usually very sweet and cooks your meats perfectly. The hubby, haha he always seems grouchy but no issues.
